I'm surprised no-ones noticed this angle yet :)He didn't say you have 1+ month to download the prepatch data."You have around 1+ month to download this file"This is in relation to downloading the wow-partial-1.MPQ file.Usually there's 2 other MPQs plus an installer to come for the full prepatch data.Plus after each content patch Blizzard do come back at some point and turn that prepatch data into a proper old-version-to-new-patch updater.IMHO he means "You have around a month before we pull the file wow-partial-1.MPQ off the background downloader and just make it a 3.2.2a-3.3 updater"It doesn't really say anything about the patch being released in a month once you think about it that :)
A couple other sites are running that patch 3.3 is due to be out next week. I said 12 days ago that this path could be released in one or 2 weeks and some people laughed at me, because I said that Blizzard wanted to launch the patch for Christmas. There are a lot of comercial reasons to do this, and that is why I thought so. If the server issues are worked out, the patch will go live on December 8th. Happy patch, Ho ho ho! ;-)
The PTR build deployed yesterday (10952) was marked as Release Candidate. That indicates a pretty imminent release -- almost certainly within the next two weeks (barring a major bug).
