Interesting thought on making tanking rotations about survival instead of threat.I support this idea, would give tanks more control over their fate.
So, those few locks who don't know that Felhunters can dispel complain because they can't play their class? Huh?
Interesting. I feel this would change tanking immensely.
Wow I would actually consider dusting off my tank if I were still playing
"Making Word of Glory the thing to use holy power for.."..I smell prot paladins return to PvP. :)
Nice ideas, too bad they will not give a %^&* about low lvl tanking.
So their answer to the fact that it is much more difficult for a warlock to do the Nexus quest, as opposed to a Mage or a Priest doing it, is "Lol sucks to be you. (Baddie.)" Sure, it was much more polite than the way I'm putting it but it doesn't make it any less offensive.
I want to see people's reactions on the latest hotfixes, in addition to this news.http://wow.joystiq.com/2011/08/16/patch-4-2-hotfixes-for-august-11/#continued
Interesting view on threat. Not sure where I stand on it. I haven't played a tank since Wrath so I'm not as sure how much has changed for them but as dps or healer the threat they will have will be nice. It will be interesting not having to worry about pulling aggro other than transitions or adds but I also wonder if that will make the threat reduction abilities closer to useless. I know its a fine line on fun and boring but isn't part of knowing your class knowing that if I do this sequence of things I will have that mobs attention? I understand for the gear point of view and that isn't fun watching because of the gear difference. I loved using misdirect on my hunter to point things to the tank. If they just have to hit the adds then what fear do I ever have of dying from threat. Toss huge heals on my priest because the tank took some major hits, ok fade time. I guess i just wonder if you would even have to worry about threat after the initial pull. To me it only seems logical that if someone else started beating me down with huge damage I would ignore the person taking jabs at me and go for the heavy hitter. As I stated earlier I see the pros and cons and am curious to see how it works out. To me it just keeps it interesting to know, "Oh I got his attention, better FD(fade, etc..)", or else why would I even need those tools?
So what's new from Occu'thar?
He has a bigger loot table, just wanted to see it :P
Dropping 3 PvE and 3 PvP 25-man would be a nice fix
Our main tank said yesterday "afk" after 10 seconds into the first mob and gave a shockingly diabolical laugh...Though I believe he'll be a bit bored now...
