Hellfire is not new, it may be new as a talent, but we used to have it before they cut 95% of AoE spells in the beginning of MoP or WoD I forget which. It used to be a baseline spell.
Can we see what the new destro animations look like if you have green fire? :)
Deathbolt is just Demonbolt isn't it?
ooooo Dk spell steal!
rain of fire looks really awesome now, too bad it'll probably still hit like a wet noodle and be worthless to cast.
My goodness, Hunter effects are fugly and uninspired. Rapid Fire is just a stream of s, Wildfire Bomb is literally renamed Dragonsfire Grenade (I suppose in an attempt to keep Survival's theme, whatever it is, more coherent?). Chakrams is pretty good, I will admit, and I welcome the return of Glaive Toss in whatever way, shape or form.
Looking good so far! I love the reintroduction of exposed armor :D
Displacer Beast is removed because Blizzard wants each class to be more distinct. Druids are not mages. However, Death Knights get a spellsteal. Wha?
Dude you are absolutely wrong with soul fire. Look how it looked at Vanila...
Nice to see that warlocks are getting back some of our pruned baseline abilities... as talents.
Shaman raid buff what is ? Still unknown ?
Well soulfire has an ugly arc/lob effect to it now, like it's about to run out of power, if only it were the same
Let's remove blink from druids, cause blink should be unique to mages... and give spellsteal to DK.
And how exactly do the 'new' spells fit 'class fantasy', now? It just makes no sense to me, they removed these spells for the reason of 'not going well with class fantasy' and now they're bringing them back, some with different names but essentially, they're the same.
Its great that warlocks are getting some love too
Nothing for bm hunters yet ?
Been interested to read more about Thoughtseize (spellsteal for DK's) They brought back spellsteal for mages at some point (in between when I last played, and when I came back in November). I'm happy that they've done that, BUT the problem I had was that there just doesnt seem to be a lot of useful spells to steal, I would hope that they will do SOMETHING to expand on beneficial buffs from the target to the person.Like for instance, if they dont HAVE a buff then spellsteal wont do crap.In another game I've played (City of Heroes), the Kinetics power had several stealing abilities, perhaps spellsteal and thoughtseize should work in a similiar fashion, instead of relying on an existing buff, the abilities steal a pre-existing amount of some ability from the mob (have it be a set value, so that we cant just spellsteal ALL of the mobs damage, obviously), but, for instance:I cast spellsteal on a mob, I steal 1% of their (Insert relevant but not too powerful ability) and apply it to my party, maybe this has a temporary duration of say 5 minutes. I could see other spells of this ilk stealing specific KINDS of things: spellsteal takes magic damage bonus/armor, thoughtseize might take physical traits (str/agi?)I mean, I know, in the end it sounds a hell of a lot like blessing of kings/might used to be.
Hunter's Serpent Sting is missing and well i was thinking that they working on it for new animation as outlaw's pistol shot but use hand crossbow.
