Does anyone know how this works in regard to item tints? i.e. if I use the Catalyst to create Boots for example how does it determine which transmog tint I get on the boots given we have tints for LFR, Normal, Heroic and Mythic?

Why does this have to be another 2 weeks away? Not having 4pc really hinders your ability to do high keys as the power gains are huge. Open it up Blizzard.

No mention of possible rep requirements, if you've done all dailies etc by then you'd be about exalted, wonder if that's going to be another restriction.

I kind of hope that Cypher Equipment and/or Sandworn gear works for this, since it's the most reliable for me, like it's mentioned in one section here (in text), but I doubt it.

When you activate this, do you get the gear right away, and it takes a week (at launch) to recharge, or does it take that time to get the item (like the Great Vault, you do the act then get it later)

id like to make my 4set on april 12th stop with this bs time gating not everyone wants to raid and wait on vault rng. let us enjoy doing keys with 4pc in peace and have fun. blizzard logic is always against the players making it not fun once again.

Oh well, I have about 37000 Cosmic Flux and this is no help because I'm not running any group content, so I don't have any gear for this.

Do we know if there are requirements to being able to use the Creation Catalyst (besides unlocking it via the quest)? I ask because I copied 3 characters over to the 9.2.5 just now. My "main" character, who is revered and 6/6 console gear level, is able to upgrade. On my other two characters (one of which is also revered, but not 6/6), it says "The catalyst is recharging and will be functional in". So not sure if the PTR is bugged, or I haven't met some invisible requirements to be able to use the Catalyst on Tuesday?

Anyone know if this also allows for BoE looted inside the raid to be used changed to tier? Just got some 278 cloth shoulders and debating myself between selling them or keeping them to see

I bet crafters who thought they were creating season three legendaries are going to be upset. After all, the crafters' marks required to make them are only available in Zereth Mortis. Doesn't that make them season three? Is this why crafted legendaries cost less to buy than they do to make?

DOES NOT WORK FOR ZM "ORACULAR" (Cypher Equipment) GEAR.

UI will not accept them.

Pieces that drop from the World Boss can be converted (Антрос) and it looks like pieces that you purchase with Пустынная реликвия can also be converted.

Any idea when (or if) the weekly charge cap is going to be lifted? Trying to accumulate 246- gear for the LFR transmog, and only being able to convert one piece a week when you're sitting on 5 figures worth of cosmic flux is really frustrating.

FYI, I just tried to convert gear I purchased with Sandworn Relics and it works at the Creation Catalyst. I created tier gloves using the purchased gloves.

The list at the end sharing what ilvls give each appearance (LFR/Normal/Heroic/Mythic) is no longer accurate. Mythic 0 items give the Mythic appearances (just tested it), while stuff from keys vary and are broken down by rank.... Trying to farm the appearances now is confusing.

About Creation Catalyst and Transmog in patch 9.2.7.
The list is no longer accurate, but the logic is still the same.

Lower ilvl items such as those gained from M+6 or lower end-of-dungeon will unlock LFR appearance.
M+15 end-of-dungeon items when transformed through catalyst will unlock the Normal appearance.
Items from M+ transformed through catalyst can still be upgraded with valor to further unlock more appearances. Ex.: A M+15 end-of-dungeon item turned through catalyst will unlock Normal xmog, than this same item, if later upgraded with valor from 288 to 291, will unlock another appearance (Heroic xmog).
M+15 Great Vault items will unlock Mythic.

Items of 275 item level or lower will take the LFR appearance.
Items between 278 and 288 will take the Normal appearance.
Items between 291 and 301 will take the Heroic appearance.
Items at 304 or above will take the Mythic appearance.

In case anyone is wondering (like I was)... in order for your Alts to use the Catalyst they need to do the quests in the Blooming Foundry; Part of the Secrets of the First Ones - Chapter 4 -Forging a New Path - Once you've completed the quest 'Key Crafting' you can use it.

Unsure if I seen any patch notes related to it, however since 10.0 pre-patch 262 M0 gear no longer seems to work in the catalyst for those looking to farm out transmog on alts.

Is there any way to use it now in DF to get old transmog instead of going in the Sepulcher of the First Ones in mythic ?

Even the Heroic version etc
