Работает ли данный колчан на сурве?
Эффект работает ТОЛЬКО при использовании оружия дальнего боя. Это делает его бесполезным для специализации "выживание".
:O and it's crit haste too? blizzard, you shouldn't have
This item's effect is inspired by from Blizzard's MOBA,
Heroes of the Storm
, where Slyvanas is a playable character.
In Heroes of the Storm, when Sylvanas activates
, she automatically attacks the nearest enemy up to 5 times over 1.5 seconds, with charges gained over time.
Heres hoping it will look like a quiver that isn't too "sylvanans look" only so that it can be used for transmog to finally give hunters back their quivers. Or just release like 10 quiver models that can be more easily obtained? one can hope?
I love that it's a quiver, but I hate that it will probably hide our cloak :(
For a long time I've wished they'd give us hunters some transmog quivers... I hope this is one way they'll finally do that :)
I do however prefer the idea of having a quiver on top of one's cloak! (like with
Тас'дора, наследие Ветрокрылых
I have always looked at that empty offhand slot, and thought back to the days of classic-wrath where we had to have masses of arrows in bags to even fire (*shudder*... )... and thought that it would be a really cool thing to have arrows return purely for transmog (not as a consumable).
We could use that empty offhand slot, and have a bunch of different quiver+arrow models, and attach them to an 'arrow' item that is equipped in that offhand slot. Purely transmog, nothing more (and not required for making attacks, no consumable like in the past... no stack etc).
That way we could have different models, and different colours, without the need for any power gains!
So as a survival hunter that now has this.....thanks a lot blizzard for ignoring an entire spec on 2 items that drop from the same boss made specifically for hunters. #blizzardhatessurvival
As an amusing aside, transmogrifying this item alongside any variant of
Тас'дора, наследие Ветрокрылых
will result in it showing both quivers on your back. Shame none of them are quite the same colour.
I am really disappointed with the design here. Not because it overlays a cloak but it is not visible at all. Not a single weapon design let you see the quiver in its beauty. I really dislike it.
There should be a weapon that can be worn at the hips, like the guns, or a small crossbow. Or the quiver should be worn at the hips as the quivers irl as well. That would be a so much better design....
The effect ONLY works when using ranged weapons. This makes it useless for survival spec.
only triggers off of auto attacks, something of which I found was pretty disappointing,
Every 10 shots
, trigger Withering Fire, striking up to 5 enemies in front of you for 382 Shadow damage.)
Especially confusing with the wording because most of the hunters toolkit are "shots"
(shoot a stream of
(A powerful aimed
overall, pretty lack luster of an item that'll trigger once every like 30 seconds and cant be used by survival spec at all.
after using it in a heroic sod for 2 hours (1:45 with breaks) it triggered 149 times, so about on the dot, once every minute. 80.3kdamage, 0.3% of my total
heres my report
I got the LFR version in my vault this week, even tho you could not kill Sylvanas last week. I have only killed her once on normal, so it would seem that you don't have to have killed Sylvanas for a chance to get from the vault.
OMG! nice transmog for "like the first time ever as a beast master hunter," - now choose your next button pushes carefully - i REQUEST a boost for all venthyr hunters who equip this ITEM at this Time, pls!
im thinking about putting one of my 252 capes back on, and just using this over marketed rig in void storage. all that hype, and a great vault selection for a measly .04% simmed dps gain over the 252 cloak..last i saw anyways, seems to have dropped since than imo idk for sure yet, too much bs to keep track of while attempting to time 19s with failed HUGE PUMPERS Galore!
I'm super happy with its look and I'm fine with it replacing the cloak. More and more over the years I've been hiding my cloak because they just don't go with my armor choices... I keep hearing Edna admonish, "No capes!"
I'm not entirely sure if it's new but since 9.1.5 it is procing on some enemies which are out of combat in some keys, like cleaving on them really far away from my main target, I never had this problem before it can be really annoying when happening.
Again, I just never noticed it before so I'd like to know if it's a small change from the patch or if I just never got the proc at some awkward moment
Do note that there are different appearances for this quiver for LFR, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic. So if you want maximum transmogrification flexibility, gotta get 'em all!
Warning: If you use Dinar to acquire this, try equipping it and get its transmog registered before upgrading it with Creation Impetus. It seems that you will not keep the Normal tint if you do not register its transmog before upgrading.
I acquired the quiver via Dinar and then immediately upgraded it to Heroic using Cosmic Creation Impetus. I had not equipped the original Normal version. At this point, I saw both the Normal and Heroic tints in my Transmog UI. However after trying to apply the Normal tint mog, the Heroic tint got applied instead, and checking the Transmog UI now only offered the Heroic version.
I'm guessing that I would have been able to keep the Normal tint if I had equipped the original Normal version first. Can anyone confirm this?
edit: Got a reply for my ticket. Upgrading an item is similar to getting the item refunded. Make sure you equip the original Normal version before upgrading.
