Является БИС поясом для (магов, локов, пристов), после сплющивания на 80-й уровень.
Например для Посланника Титанов. Естественно нужно вставлять эпические камни.

Dirt cheap if you are in a SSC guild or have friends in them who can craft these for you.

Dropped off first trash clearing to Hydros in SSC.
We managed to get 5 epic proffesion patterns drop from 2 clearings of the trash before Hydross, and clearing the trash around Lurker Below. Either we got really lucky, or drop rates are bugged out or something.
Комментарий от

same happened to us when clearing the platforms around lurker, 6 epic drops from 6 packs durin the first clearing 2 of which was tailoring recipes and 1 was for this

Odd, a similar thing happenned to us. 6 epics in 6 packs, 2 of which were tailoring patterns. Maybe something is bugged?

The main problem is, if you're not on a raiding guild which raids SSC/Eye instances, it will be hard to get one crafted.
Been asking at my server's top horde guilds for a craft, and I've found only one person who can craft it for non-guildies. And he charges 300 gold per nether vortex. which equals 600g + mats for one. Not worth it, in my opinion.

Spellfire Belt gemmed with blues:
100 health
270 mana
1.22% spell crit
60 spell damage (50 of which is fire / arcane)
This one gemmed with epics:
70 health
0 mana
1.58% crit
66 spell damage
For minimal spell crit and only 6 damage increase (remember that this is with better gems than Spellfire), and losing almost all of your stats, this belt is only worth going to the trouble of crafting if you are not a spellfire tailor and do not raid Serpentshrine Cavern. It would be better to get Cord of Screaming Terrors from the Lurker Below. Still, this is a nice belt for one that's available to anyone who can afford it and is not doing Serpentshrine yet.
Комментарий от

lokhor your numbers seem a bit strange and you dont specify what gems you are talking about.
In addition, you have ignored (or overlooked) the very important fact this belt has +23 spell hit rating on it, whereas spellfire has 0.

Huge difference between the drop places too. Other one is world random. And the other comes from pretty decent raiding instance.

This belt sold for 2.5k gold (this is for the finished product) on my server. It likely could have sold for more.
Excellent belt that doesn't "waste" the item budget on non dps stats like stamina/int (they still are important, and int increases your spell crit by a small amount).
I used glowing nightseye + veiled noble topaz gems to get the bonus, and I couldn't have an armor item with 0 stamina :).
Комментарий от
22398
Actually it is the best belt in the game. I will give up 34 stamina for 30 spell crit any day. If you want to pvp get pvp gear, if you want to pve get pve gear.
Комментарий от

Would a warlock still be better off sticking with the +9 damage gems in this and ignoring the socket bonus? I'm guessing that destruction might favor the socket bonus so use can use a hit gem in the yellow slot but what about affliction?
Комментарий от
exhaze
A warlock may choose to socket it with:
+5 spell dmg, +6 stamina
+5 spell dmg, +4 spell crit (or hit if affliction)
This will result in a total bonus of:
+14 spell dmg, +6 stamina, +4 spell crit (or hit if affliction)
The fact that this belt is currently considered the best warlock belt in the game means that it'll be used in BT and Hyjal, where stamina is a very important stat to have, meaning that socketing to get the bonus in such a matter would be better than just sticking in two +9 spell dmg gems.
Комментарий от

If your an affliction lock go for the Cord of Screaming Terrors. If your going for stam and the crit isn't as important, that belt has 1 more base hit and actual stam before any gems are added. Personally, I 'd recomend that other belt for Shadow Priests too.
This belt however is probably the best for any crit based caster and I'd recommend it even for Elemental Shamans.

If you have a guildy that can make them you should be able to get this belt for around 800g(Going on my Server Prices) You cant realy complain about that. +50 Spell DMG +23 Spell Hit + 30 Spell crit is awsome! and something that you dont realy find on a belt

Really, really nice belt. But just remember, if you break your Spellfire bonus you will lose around 30 damage (Which is quite a bit to lose late into 70). Not to mention you will also lose 10 stam (With gems and socket bonus), and 18 intellect. If you aren't a tailor or need the hit then it's pretty sick, though. For Mages in 3/3 Spellfire I think the Boots of Blasting are a better choice for an upgrade.

*sigh* its not quite so cheap if you run BT and need to hire another guild to craft them for you, 750g / vortex and my mats later it total'd about 2kg...still worth it for the hit, if nothing else.

Actually this belt requires somewhat strong supportive hoard of good gear around it to work the best, because this belt is completely free of any stamina. The Loot Below in SSC drops the Screaming Terrors belt, which is awesome in itself, too. However, at least I have never seen that one drop, so it was safe to get this baby crafted as soon as I got the vortexes.
Unfortunately, this belt is yet another example of Blizzard's ridiculous itemization. What's the use for blue slot in this belt, when you really don't want any stamina since all the item budget has been spent on mad nuking? Slammed +12 and +9 spell damage gems in and there you go, at least one slot in your gear is as good as it currently gets.

Don't worry, we had the same issue.
We started running SSC/TK in 09/07 and we didn't see a single boots or belt pattern drop until 01/08. Since then we've had about 4 of each drop(Think we even got 3 in 1 raid)

As of 2.4, you need 15 badges to purchase 1 Nether Vortex.
Therefore, you need 30 in total to fulfill the recipe requirements.

Conclusions:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=21846
spellfire Set is worth breaking despite the set bonus loss (-28 spell damage @@ 400 intellect self buffed) but you win 23 hit (!!!) and 12 crit.

Droprate on this recipe is really low, but once it drops the person getting it is gonna be rich.
I was lucky enough to get my recipe after 2.4, and the sales are flying.
I can charge between 50 - 100g fee and people happily pay it, even though I don't supply any Vortex.
After about a week i have gotten a nice lump of money. Once i start advertising this baby on the trade channel I might get my epic flying in a diffy.
People in guild, friends of the guild, alts of friends etc. I am crafting this every day and get whispers while raiding and doing dailies all the time.
A person with this mighty recipe will feel like a superstar. Wishing everyone else who get it a Good luck on the sales

Комментарий от

Don't neglect your hit rating for destruction spells. Raiding affliction warlocks (are there any left?) will find that an awful lot of damage still comes from shadowbolts, so it's certainly not wasted.

This is a nice item again since there is so much stamina on things like the dps 150-badge dagger. I had avoided it in the past due to no stam, but I dont have stam issues anymore. I'm putting +10 spellhaste and +10 spellhit in mine, which means I can remove a spellhit item and add a dps item. Eventually with +20 spellhaste after I get a better spellhit ring, this is a real beast.

they are ONLY located at Throne of Kil'jaeden, in Hellfire peninsula... the cords are 61,19 .if you dont have cords i must say that its right behind Thrallmar up at the mountain, but, you need Flying mount and if you dont have that i think you must just die close to the mountain and spirit ress :(
also there are Dailies there to.. and Normally People dont Farm those from Fire but just for the daily

This belt is very nice with a good amount of hit/crit and spd, however the complete lack of any stam or int on it makes it dependant on your other gear, if ur lacking stam and mana then u may need to change other pieces of armour to raise those stats before equping this.
As a fire mage im considering getting this and finally breaking the spellfire set as i can make it more overall spd and crit however like i said, the lack of stam and int is stopping me at the moment.

This belt has been going on the AH on my server for around 1700g. The separate mats for this would cost about as much if you bought them all off the AH, and expect to pay 50g to the crafter to do it for you.
As a frost mage, I have had this item for a couple of months now, and I must say I am very pleased with how it performs. If the lack of a stamina buff is an issue, then socket it with a stamina gem, but regardless of what your gem choice is, the +23 hit, +30 crit, +50 damage buffs make it more than worth any sacrifice in stamina. Besides, as a mage, your best defense is a helluva good offense, anyways.

AWESOME spreist belt up to higher content (Namely Hyjal/BT). Even Anetheron's Noose isn't too much better than this in truth.
I'd recommend using this up until Sunwell if you're not able to get Anetheron's Noose (Hyjal) or Waistrap of Infinity (BT), but definitely get the Teir 6 belt over this.

Would it be worth it for a firemage to swap the spellfirebelt for this?
I will loose the setbonus, witch gives me about 51 in spelldamage when buffed..
Seems hit and crit is the only reason to swap. The regular damage increase and the gems are identical on these belts as far as I can see.
Seems like a costy upgrade to me..
Any input would be greatly appreciated :)
Thanks!

This is a very good belt.
you Need 375 tailoring if you wish to make it. how ever the pattern is a BoP drops in Serpentshrine cavern.
most if not all have a low chance to drop the pattern.
NOTE: wowhead shows the mobs have 1% and under chance to drop the pattern. how ever the pattern only drops if there is a tailor in the group. so if the counter was lacking a tailor or if the tailor already had the pattern. It wouldn't drop, and it would screw up the counter.

is the link to the pattern.

you can get the vortex with badges in shat.
so you can farm the heroic for badges while waiting for it to drop.

Could someone do a comparison between the belt of blasting and the voodoo woaven belt please. I am in BT at the moment and am trying to weigh up whether the loss of stam and int is worth it and if i pushed the Gem sockets on the belt of blasting to the max, how much extra dps i would get. I am currently capped on spell hit btw. I could possibly get Anetheron's noose shortly too, if i am lucky with the drops.

on ravencrest EU primal fire is down in 10-11g, and nether vortex around 80g. so this can be made for around 330g or so, if you buy the mats of AH.
definately worth it.

Always check the AH for the mats if you're buying this.
I was going to buy the belt, then i looked at the price of the mats;
