Оружием Иллидана являются парные клинки Аззинота — по версии World of Warcraft — клинки демона Стража Рока, поверженного Иллиданом, который во время заточения в темнице в отрыве от магической силы, обучился ими пользоваться.

Сквозь десять тысяч лет Иллидан гордо пронес свое любимое оружие — пару двулезвийных клинков в форме полумесяца. Во времена войны Древних он отобрал эти клинки у демона, погибельного стража по имени Аззинот.

На время, пока Иллидан отбывал наказание, клинки у него не конфисковали, и во тьме подземелья он столетиями учился обращаться с этим демоническим оружием — и навострился делать это так ловко, что в мастерстве далеко оставил позади самих демонов.

Называются эти мечи «боевые глефы Аззинота» (Warglaive of Azzinoth), хотя сходство их с глефами (древковое оружие наподобие алебарды) очень условно. Больше всего эти мечи напоминают вырожденные глефы, лишившиеся древка, или вычурную модификацию кастета.

Одно время гарды, прикрывающие руки Иллидана были выполнены в виде стилизованной мордочки пандарена, притом до превращения эльфа в полудемона это была улыбающаяся мордочка, а после — оскаленная. Какое отношение имеет древняя раса воинов-пандаренов к мечам Аззинота? Боюсь, этого мы уже не узнаем. Вряд ли они выковали эти мечи — скорее всего, характерный рисунок отображал какие-то старые воспоминания Иллидана. Теперь на гардах революционная символика — пятиконечные звезды.

С точки зрения механики World of Warcraft, глефы Аззинота представляют собой очень быстрые одноручные мечи, прибавляющие владельцу ловкости, здоровья, шанс критического урона и силу удара. Если взять в руки оба меча, у героя время от времени время от времени будет серьезно увеличиваться скорость ударов, и вдобавок к этому он станет настоящей грозой демонов. Что характерно, использовать боевые глефы Аззинота могут только два класса — разбойники и воины. Маги, колдуны и паладины — в пролете.

Только что упал, на прошлом кд упал правый. Рад безумно. Собирал рейд с выкупом азинота за 8к(если падает клинок, то топ по роллу получает 8к, а я получаю клинок =) ). Потратил суммарно 14 кд недель.

Ребят я просто в шоке на том кд выиграл правый аззинот на групп луте, и решил фармить левый повёл с анроллом на 5к и ЛЕВЫЙ выпал ) таким образом за 2 кд поулчил великий подвиг Матершинник Ревущий фьорд

Пошел 1й раз в бт, даже не думал что что то будет, но вдруг с иллиданчика упал левый клинок^^(правда какой то шаман был против, и хотел его занидить)

Я дк. пока сделал 3 трая в БТ за 3 недели соответственно. ходим человек по 5 дд 85ых. всех зергаем. в первый раз ни один из клинков не выпал. на вторую неделю упал левый, сролил воин. на 3ью неделю пошел выпал снова левый - сролил я) параллельно парнишка с ги ходил. упал левый) левые илья раздает что-то. буду траить и траить пока правый не получу. Бью их для того чтобы с красотой делать хранителя мудрости) Затонирован, Азурегос.

Шанс дропа странный, всего 3 убийства Иллидан Ярость Бури и я собрал оба клинка, есть одно замечание, не знаю как у других классов, но фуривар может взять левую азинотку в правую руку а правую в левую, и когда оружие не взято а висит на спине оно красиво смотрится щитками наружу, а если взять правильно то на спине будет смотреться не красиво, так всегда было? Испепелитель (недоступно)

История Испепелителя тесно связана с именем Командующего Могрейна, и начинается с момента, когда Александрос находит темный кристалл на теле одного из орков. Могрейн почувствовал темную мощь в необычном предмете, доставленном с далекой планеты Дренор. Воздействуя на него силами Света, кристалл не разрушился, а превратился в сильнейший артефакт Света. Решением ордена Серебряной Длани было поставлено сделать из него меч, мощное оружие против Плети.

К созданию Испепелителя имеет прямое отношение архимаг Алого Ордена Тимолейн, который, как выяснилось позже, был тайным членом Культа Проклятых. Свое название меч получил от прозвища его владельца, Александроса Могрейна, который славился тем, что сражаясь против Плети, оставлял от живых мертвецов только пепел.

Старший сын Могрейна, Рено, заключил сделку с самим Кел’Тузадом, и обратил меч отца против него самого, вонзив лезвие ему в грудь. Александрос был убит, а Испепелитель, окропленный кровью своего владельца, снова стал оружием тьмы, и назывался он Оскверненный Испепелитель. Король-лич возродил Александроса, сделав из него Рыцаря смерти, и заключив его душу в оскверненный клинок.

Младший сын Могрейна, Дарион, когда подрос и окреп, присоединился к Серебряному Рассвету и отправился на поиски отца. Его путь лежал в Наксрамас, где в руки Дариона и попал Оскверненный Испепелитель.

Когда началась атака Плети на Часовню Последней Надежды, Дарион выступил против Кел’Тузада. Он проткнул сердце клинком, тем самым освободим и душу отца, и души тысяч людей, покоренных Королем-личем.
Дарион занял место отца, став Рыцарем Смерти, но, во время последней битвы у Часовни, прознав о коварных планах Короля-лича и его предательстве, Верховный Лорд бросил Оскверненный Испепелитель Тириону Фордрингу. Когда меч оказался в руках паладина, он очистился снова. По сей день Тирион является его полноправным владельцем, продолжая войну против Плети.

Сульфурас – могущественное оружие Рагнароса Повелителя Огня. Он покрыт элементиумом, а глаз Сульфуруса, заключен глубоко в основе молота. Сульфура гравирован рунами, которые плавно перетекают по поверхности оружия. Сульфурас покрыт шипами разных размеров и имеет высокую температуру. Оружие невероятно массивное, даже слишком массивное для большинства смертных Азерота.
Когда какое-нибудь существо умирает от Сульфураса, тело жертвы воспламеняется, оставляя только груду пепла. Пепел трансформируется в твердый и темный кристалл. Этот кристалл известен как глаз Сульфурас и используется последователями Рагнароса в древних ритуалах.

Во времена Битвы Элементалей, Принц Громораан, Искатель ветра, был повержен в бою Повелителем Огня Рагнаросом. Бывшие соратники Принца, Гарр и Барон Геддон, предали его и примкнули к Рагнаросу, став его лейтенантами. Рагнарос пытался уничтожить Принца Воздуха, но так и не смог. Однако он отобрал его силу и заключил ее в артефактах: наручниках, которые и отдал своим лейтенантам.
Сколько точно прошло времени, никто сейчас и не скажет, однако на просторах Силитуса, где остался поверженный Принц, обосновался культ Сумеречного молота. Громораан безжалостно изничтожал его служителей, однако пожалел Демитриана, когда они сошлись в схватке. Этот человек оказался подающим большие надежды шаманом, и Принц решил использовать его возможности в своих целях: чтобы тот помог ему вернуть былую мощь.

Атиеш — личный посох Медива, он был инструментом фокусировки его магической силы и артефактом великой силы. К несчастью, из-за присутствия духа Саргераса в теле Медива, посох подвергся порче. Саргерас наделил посох некоторой разумностью. После гибели Медива Кирин Тор снарядил экспедицию магов для поиска и изучения хранящихся в Каражане артефактов. Тогда-то Атиеш был найден и доставлен в Даларан. Но все маги Кирин Тора, контактировавшие с посохом, погибли в результате серии странных происшествий, поэтому Совет Шести решил в целях безопасности защитить посох магическими барьерами, назначив наблюдателя для охраны. Этим наблюдателем стала архимаг Анджела Досантос.

Во время разрушения Даларана Архимондом посох был утерян; предположительно, сработала аварийная барьерная система, раздробив его на множество осколков. Анджела до сих пор разыскивает эти осколки. По слухам, часть осколков находится в Наксрамасе у Кел'тузада и его прислужников — лич хочет сам собрать посох. Основание Атиеша попало в руки известного исследователя Бранна Бронзоборода, но было утеряно во время его вылазки в Ан'Кираж.

Боевой клинок Аззинота + Боевой клинок Аззинота (доступно)

Боевая глефа — ещё одно уникальное оружие ночных эльфов, разнообразящее класс мечей. Клинок в виде серпа или полумесяца длиной около 120 сантиметров, рукоятка расположена по центру, у задней грани. Парные боевые глефы можно скрепить вместе, получив сдвоенное оружие. Традиционное вооружение охотников на демонов, самый знаменитый и легендарный образец — Двойные клинки Аззинота, которыми воевал Иллидан.

Истинное название этого оружия звучит как «боевые глефы Аззинота». Откуда взялось такое название, непонятно, но, учитывая, что первым их владельцем (насколько нам известно) был демон Страж Рока, вполне вероятно, что демонические глефы выглядят именно как двулезвийные клинки. Но на территории Азерота глефы представляют из себя что-то вроде алебарды.

Однако, истинных ценителей красоты это, конечно, ничуть не смущает. Как не смутило и Иллидана, когда он лицом к… ээээ… морде встретился с тем самым демоном, имя которому было… Аззинот. Собственно, убив жуткого демона, Иллидан так прельстился мягкими изумрудными переливами клинков, что решил оставить себе в качестве боевого трофея.

Чем руководствовались ночные эльфы, когда решили упечь Иллидана в тюрьму, но оставили при нем его драгоценные клинки, не известно. Но факт остается фактом, на протяжении 10 000 лет наш герой упражнялся в бою, ловко орудуя глефами, названным в честь их первого владельца, Аззинотами. Сейчас, правда, не меньше распространено их новое название – Иллиданки.

Так вот, отточив свое мастерство во владении клинками до такой степени, что на планете Азерот Иллидану не осталось равных, он и бежал из-под стражи на соседнюю планету, Дренор.

Изменению на всем пути этой истории подвергались также и гарды, стилизованные накулачники, соединяющие два лезвия клинка и защищающие руку в бою. Изначально, судя по тем сведениям, что дошли до нас, гарды украшала физиономия пандарена. Однако взаимоотношения между пандаренами и демонами Пылающего Легиона для смертных остаются в ряду неизведанных. Когда Иллидан впервые взял клинки в свои руки, пандарен на гардах был улыбающийся, а, после превращения эльфа в полудемона, вместо улыбки появился оскал. В настоящее время гарды украшены рисунком, чем-то напоминающим кленовый лист.

Три самых распространенных теории о том, откуда взялся Тори'дал, Звeздная Ярость.

Первая история.
Тори'дал – если ничто иное, как само воплощение энергии Солнечного Колодца, ее физическое проявление. Во-первых, об этом намекает и название лука и гравировка, которая гласит «Энергия Солнечного Колодца течет сквозь Тори’дала». Во-вторых, для использования лук не требует боеприпасов: при натягивании тетивы он создает волшебные стрелы.

Вторая история.
Лук принадлежит бесславно забытому герою ночных эльфов, отряды которых принимали участие в Войне древних. Согласиться с этой теорией нас подталкивают остальные предметы, хранящиеся у Кил’джедена еще с той поры. Среди всего это хлама вполне мог затеряться легендарный лук.

Третья история.
Многие предполагают, что владела этим луком Аллерия Ветрокрылая (сестра Сильваны и Верисы), именно ее статую можно лицезреть на мосту Штормграда. Аллерия входила в число армии Альянса, давшей отпор демонам у Темного Портала и продолжавшей сражения уже на территории Дренора даже после того, как Портал был закрыт. Подтверждает эту теорию и Капюшон Аллерии, который можно найти в закромах Кил’джедена. Да и само оружие выполнено в стиле, характерном для высших эльфов, к числу которых принадлежат и сестренки Ветрокрылые.
Каждая из теорий, как мы видим, имеет право на существование, но правды, как это не прискорбно, мы, скорее всего, не узнаем никогда.

Вал'анир, молот древних королей (доступно)

Содзанный титанами, Вал'анир был вручён первому царю Земляных (прародителей дварфов), Урелу Каменное Сердце. С ним правитель должен был дать жизнь и умиротворение своим братьям.
Увы, Вал'анир был разрушен во время первой войны между Земляными и отколовшимися от них дварфами Тёмного Железа. Считалось, что остатки реликвии были безвозвратно утеряны в этом конфликте, но, как мы видим, его части всё ещё целы.

Прежде чем занять трон Короля-лича, принц Артас Менетил оказался под властью клинка, который, как он полагал, мог спасти его народ. Этот рунический меч известен под именем Ледяная Скорбь. Разыскивая его среди заснеженных просторов Нордскола, принц потерял своего наставника, королевство и даже собственную душу, но обитателям Азерота меч принес еще большие беды.

Сжимая рукоять меча, за который он отдал жизнь, Артас опустошил королевство Лордерон и освободился от влияния Пылающего Легиона. К тому времени, как падший принц возглавил армию Плети, Ледяная Скорбь уже успела насытиться душами бесчисленных врагов Короля-лича, осмелившихся выступить против него.

Теперь Артас стал настолько неразлучен со своим мечом, что даже воссоздал его облик в архитектуре свой крепости, Цитадели Ледяной Короны. Его рука редко расстается с рукоятью меча, и вкрадчивый шепот клинка постоянно сливается с мыслями Короля-лича. Вместе они правят Нордсколом.

В попытке свергнуть Короля-лича отважным героям придется во многом повторить путь Артаса. Чтобы достойно вооружить войска обитателей Азерота против Плети, Дарион Могрейн создал Пепельный союз – артель самых умелых ремесленников Серебряного Авангарда и Рыцарей Черного Клинка. Но хотя отважные паладины Авангарда вооружены силой Света, а их предводитель обладает легендарным Испепелителем, некоторые темные воины Могрейна стали сомневаться в победе.

Эти рыцари смерти утверждают, что всей мощи Испепелителя и отваги рыцарей Серебряного Авангарда не хватит, чтобы противостоять Ледяной Скорби. Они клянутся, что Дарион Могрейн уже давно возлагает надежды на другое легендарное оружие, которое способно одолеть Короля-лича и очистить от скверны Нордскол… вот только оно еще не выковано.

В настоящий момент это оружие существует лишь в форме бесплотной идеи и обладает разрушительной силой не большей, чем гневная мысль. Но речи о нем ведутся шепотом, и лорд Дарион быстро заставляет молчать тех, кто осмеливается обсуждать этот вопрос вслух.

Однако надежды на оружие, способное противостоять Ледяной Скорби, согревают сердца рыцарей Черного Клинка. Одно его название разжигает огонь в потухших горнах полуночных кузниц, раздувает меха, и темные кузнецы Пепельного союза вновь стучат кувалдами, пока те не выскользнут из ослабевших пальцев. Пока другие ремесленники дышат пылью точильных камней, складывая в кучу сотни бесполезных клинков, эти отважные мастера мечтают создать лишь одно оружие, которое положит конец войне в Нордсколе.

Темная Скорбь… огромный двуручный топор, достойный руки гиганта. Он был порожден силами света и скверны, стал вместилищем тысячи мертвых душ, и владеть им могут только самые могущественные воины Азерота. Кажется, что создать оружие, подобное этому топору, невозможно, но слухи о нем не прекращаются.

Некоторые кузнецы утверждают, что Темную Скорбь можно сделать из обычного топора, заточив его лезвие до несравненной остроты, другие же полагают, что для его создания нужно оружие невероятной мощи. Утверждают, будто Могрейн, разговорившись, признается, что основой для Темной Скорби, по его мнению, может послужить только молот самого Артаса – но эта невероятная находка станет лишь первым шагом на пути создания великого топора.

Чтобы удержать силы, танцующие на его ледяных лезвиях, Темную Скорбь следует выковать из осколков неочищенного саронита - застывшей крови древнего бога Йогг-Сарона. Материал этот покорится молоту лишь самых умелых мастеров.

Чтобы поддерживать его убийственную мощь, необходимо напитать Темную Скорбь душами самых сильных слуг Плети, уничтожив их одного за другим еще не остывшим клинком.

Если даже Артас, один из самых благородных рыцарей своего времени, утратил свою душу, покорившись шепоту Ледяной Скорби, кто может знать, что та же самая участь минует всех живущих, когда в мир придет родственный по духу топор – Темная Скорбь?

Не зная ответа на эти вопросы, кто осмелится взять его в руки?

Гнев Дракона, вечный покой Таресгосы (доступно)
(затраты времени на создание - можно сказать частичный рандом, так как при выполнении первой стадии есть понятие "дроп будет / не будет" (в героическом режиме Извечный уголь падает всегда, в нормале - не всегда), а уже на последующих стадиях дроп есть всегда; в режиме 25 ппл выполняется гораздо быстрее, чем в 10 ппл - примерно в ~2 раза быстрее:
1 стадия: надо 25 Извечный уголь, реагент 3 Пески времени - влетят вам в 8100-9000 золотых;
2 стадия: надо 1000 Пылающий уголь;
3 стадия: надо 250 Тлеющая сущность Вытягивание сущности юзается Рунический посох Нордрассила, + Сердце пламени с Рагнарос)

После гибели драконьего аспекта Малигоса перед синими драконами встала непростая задача выбрать нового лидера из двух претендентов. Часть драконов поддерживает Калесгоса, который выступает за восстановление дружественных отношений с другими расами; другие же остаются верны Аригосу, потомку Малигоса, который верит, что их род должен искать свой собственный путь за пределами этого мира. Чтобы положить конец распрям и спорам и наконец выбрать нового аспекта, синие драконы объявили общий сбор во время Помрачения — небывалого небесного явления, при котором одна луна Азерота полностью закрывает другую.

Вместе с тем бронзового дракона Анахроноса посетило пугающее видение о последствиях близящейся церемонии. Он почувствовал средоточие зловещей магии вокруг Нексуса, логова синих драконов в Нордсколе. Одновременно Анахронос увидел, как весь Азерот гибнет в огне. Связь между этим леденящим душу знамением и синими драконами остается неясной, поэтому Анахронос решил обратиться за помощью к «короткоживущим созданиям» (как иногда называют представителей других рас драконы времени). И если не найдется героя, который смог бы раскрыть правду, мрачное предзнаменование может стать реальностью.

В целях воплощения этой концепции, эффект «Гнева Дракона, вечного покоя Таресгосы», который вдвое увеличивает урон от вредоносных заклинаний, будет также срабатывать и при произнесении заклинаний, наносящих урон с течением времени. При этом с некоторой вероятностью урон, который получает противник с каждым тактом способности, наносящей урон с течением времени, также будет увеличен. Чтобы среди чернокнижников и жрецов специализации «Тьма» это оружие тоже пользовалось успехом, у описанного эффекта не будет внутреннего времени восстановления. Кроме того, вероятность его срабатывания будет выше у тех специализаций, где значительную часть урона наносят питомцы заклинателя.

В списке легендарных предметов, есть семь особых типов оружия. На них не существует определенных заданий, для того, чтобы собрать их не нужно месяцами зачищать рейдовые подземелья, так как они падают с 100% шансом, и их получит абсолютно каждый желающий. Но они, наряду со всеми своими плюсами, имеют один существенный минус – через 15 минут после получения, эти предметы исчезают из инвентаря.
Речь идет об оружии, добавленном в обновлении 2.2.0, накануне битвы с сильнейшим противником, Кель'тасом Солнечным Скиталецем.

Я понимаю, что схвачу кучу минусов. Но в первый ран за аззинотками упала левая, на следующее кд упала правая.
Когда упала первая аззинотка я попутал слегка, но подумал, что прокнуло и остальное буду фармить до посинения.
Сегодня упала вторая и тут уже был маленький шок.

Ходил на 70 вагоном, тащили маг и вар, выбили мне правую азинотку, на следующем кд (на 80 лвле с магом и рогой) дропнулась левая, причем у меня уже была правая, а рога шел за правой, так как левую имел)) в итоге дропнулась левая, да еще и дагер для трансмы упал, а в придачу я стал обладателем 3 токенов с бт. Видимо повысили дроп.

Этих клинков у меня еще нету, и следовательно возникает вопрос каким из персонажей нужно фармить черный храм? На них написаны классы, которые их могут носит, но смогу ли я одеть другим классом, который может носить одноручки( например хантом) для получения ачивки?

Выбил сегодня левый с 4 рана ник Ракзу(можете потралить) @Галакронд. Хочу развеять пару сомнений, которые были у меня и на которые я так и не нашел здесь конкретного утверждения.
1. Получить персональную ачивку можно только получив и одев оба клинка, как не печально...
2. Здесь все куда радужнее. Ачивку гильдии вы получаете даже сролив 1 клинок. И говоря сролив, я имею ввиду именно это. Не одеть, а просто положить в сумку( именно так моя ги сегодня заработала ачив).
И отсюда напрашивается вопрос. Исходя из того, что гильд ачив получается сразу после того, как клинок сролили, можно ли передать его персонажу, участвующему в убийстве Иллидана вместе с вами, но находящемуся в составе другой гильдии, чтобы его гильдия получила ачивку? Хоть со мной в пати был был мой брать, проверить данную теорию не представилось возможности, т.к. мы из 1 гильдии, а ливать и терять репу не особо хочется.
Следовательно! Прошу, любого человека, у которого будет возможность проверить данную теорию, отписать в комментарий результат эксперимента.
P.s. В любом случае данная информация будет полезна в дальнейшем. Ап коммент ближе к топу.

Попробую осадить тех , кто пишет что получил клинок на первом кд - шанс выпадения клинка Аззинота - 5%, то есть каждый 20-й получает клинок на первом кд (я знаю нескольких таких, включая меня). Шанс получить 2 разных клинка с двух первых кд = 0,25%, то есть каждый 400й так сумел...

К чему это я... а к тому, что если на всем вашем сервере есть скажем 400 людей которые раз в неделю ходят в ЧХ, то каждую неделю кто-нибудь берет вторую Аззинотку со второго кд...

Сами по себе, клинки классные, но когда я выбил 1 из 2, я удивился! Даже на Ночном эльфе клинки смотрятся просто идиотски из-за своих размеров. Они просто огромны! Я конечно понимаю, что они создавались под руку демона, но близы могли бы уменьшить хотя-бы чуть чуть их, для пропорциональности. Так что отдаю предпочтение старой версии клинков

В реалиях текущего патча прок на 90 лвл даёт 11% хасты. Для интереса сменил наследуемое копье с народа на аззинотки ДПС упал не слишком сильно, зато удовольствие неимоверное . Симферополь-Термоштепсель.

Ходил за ними еще с бк, ни рога ни вар даже не видели его в луте, продавал аккаунт, играл на пиратках, вернулся к пандам еще пару лет фармил его варом, решил докачать дк.

Итог, с первого кд за дк левый, со 2го правый, выбил сегодня, радости нет предела, появилась голочка напротив целей в жизни) пускай это пиксель, пускай он не актуален, но я хотел я больше всех ачив в вов.

Поистине самое красивое оружие, всем кто фармит до сих пор, или только начал, желаю удачи, ходите только теми персонажами кто может их одеть, чтобы не расстраиватся когда он выпадет локу или магу.

Хожу за ними около полугода несколькими персонажами.
За это время моему вару выпало 2 левых, дк аналогично 2 левых, и роге вывалилась сегодня 4-я левая азинотка.
Обидно как-то, вроде шанс дропа и у левого и у правого клинка одинаковый... По всей видимости правого клинка мне не видать, это карма какая-то :(

P.s: Сегодня, 17.09, мой дк оказался везунчиком, ему выпала долгожданная правая Азинотка! Рада до безумия! Всем желаю удачи! Пусть вам непременно повезёт! ;))

Пошёл рогой 5 раз в БТ, до этого проносил по одной тактике шел к Терону затем к голове потом к орку, сегодня решил попробовать по другой, после Супремуса пошел на голову, а от головы к орку, после Орка пошел к Терону, а дальше как обычно. Я хочу сказать убил весь треш который был в инсте и не лутал мобов и боссов, ну кроме Иллидана конечно. Вот и выпал мне левый клинок) счастье полные штаны, остался правый). В патче 7.2.5 эти клинки будут доступны для трансмогрификации ТОЛЬКО для ДХ. Трансмогрифицировать их можно будет только при убийстве Иллидана в режиме путешествия во времени и имея великий подвиг (необязательно что бы клинки были выбиты ДХ)

Попробовал двумя ДХ. Оба по первому разу шли в Чёрный Храм. Уже с первой попытки упал правый боевой клинок. Окрылённый успехом понёсся к трансмогрификатору. Увы, ничего не вышло, как я понимаю нужны обе.
Тем не менее мой отзыв доказывает реальную возможность выпадения заветной аззинотки.
Желаю удачи в фарме данного поистине легендарного оружия!

So far these stats are datamining, but the intresting is, that the ItemID's got unlocked during the Illidan fight of Nihilum and Curse. There you fight against the blades in a phase of the encounter. Therefore I don't think that you can get these in a normal "drop" way.. maybe a special event, triggered by a quest that isn't yet implemented yet? Who knows....

The set bonus on these weapons is also very nice!

10.5 haste rating gives 1% haste.
So 450 haste rating gives about 43% haste.

This basically means 43% faster hitting with both weapons, or 43% more white damage, along with an added bonus of increasing the number of ability procs.

A rogue using Slice and Dice (30% haste) and Blade Flurry = (20% haste), while the bonus was active, would hit at a speed of 1.3*1.2*1.43=2.23. This means he would hit 123% faster. Must be nice to see!

Nihilum commented it had not dropped but because of a step of the encounter they were able to find the item ID. He drops his sword and the NPC picks it up. Still speculation on how you come across these weapons

I think it's a bit sad they don't have a proc or anything special like thunderfury. Sure they look amazing but imo legendaries should bring something extra and unique. Quite a few weapons have a haste proc so that's nothing "out of the ordinary". If blizz had put a cool TF-like proc on the weapon it could easily have become overpowered though.

Im a hunter and I would love to use these swords. I mean ya that polearm does kick ass but why "shouldnt" hunters use this item? I mean it has agility and AP plus good stam so its pretty good for a hunter.

The proc is based off melee attacks, therefore it is mute for a hunter in a raid who will be primarily shooting a ranged weapon.

That is understood but you know when someone or something gets to close to a hunter and we cant run back without aggroing everything its useful to have a good weapon to protect us. I just think that this weapon would be good for Hunters too.

Okay but say that your warrior isnt fury and you have no rogue or you have no warrior and you have a druid instaed. All I am saying is that I tihnk it is fair for every class that can DW. No I was not saying that I would take it from anyone I was just saying that if no one else needs it its a nice weapon for a hunter as well. And what about survival hunters they are meant to get into close combat. I am not disagreeing with you I am just saying if no one needs it is would be nice for a hunter.

It's a fairly good bet that there will be at least one DPS warrior or Rogue in a 25 Man raid.. If the DPS warrior is not Fury spec - picking these up, I would suggest fairly confidently, means an automatic respec from Arms to Fury !

At the same time, if the rogue was not sword spec -- that too would change pretty quickly !

Besides, I still maintain that this would more than likely not be a drop, but a Warrior/Rogue quest reward (pretty much like QS)

Actually using your logic he would drop good stuff for DEMON hunters, which is reflected partly in the +damage against Demons.
On a different topic, these are some very very good weapons, The mainhand and the offhand.
A personal oppinion here, if a warrior was to get this over a rogue I would question the logic behind it, being that the large amount of Agility on them lends themselves very well to a rogue, whereas if it had Str on it they would lend themselves more to Fury Warriors (Seeing as how 1str=2AP and AP being the main factor for Damage with Bloodthirst).
Of course the weapons are very nice for a warrior but I'd definatly say that it is a rogue first set.

By using the same argument, this is a hunter weapon - because they also make use of Agility. Which of course is BS.

The 3 most important thing for Fury warriors is hit, crit, AP - Agi = crit, so why is the agi on this not worthwhile for Fury Warriors.

Also, there is a fair amount of AP on both of these weapons as well - the combination of which makes this very much a Fury Warrior weapon ... AND a rogue weapon .. to say it is one over the other is just plain wrong.

Remember that the stats and makeup of a Fury Warrior is almost identical to a rogue, which is why there's always some contention over who gets the high damage weapon, the rogue or the warrior.

I think Hunters should be granted access to a legendary (ranged offcourse!) weapon as they are about the only ones without direct access to a legendary (except TF but hell, what hunter has got that?) so far.

TF was very ideal for warriors and rogues aswell.
Hammer of Ragnaros was a nice pvp tool for Warriors, Paladins and Shamans.
Staff of Atiesh covered the priests, mages, warlocks and druids.
Warglaives of Azzinoth cover warriors and rogues again, well it's normal it are the only 2 classes with real use from it.

But as you can see, the hunter had no beneficial legendary so far...

The Main-Hand warglaive was world first obtained by Celalia of Forte (EU Kazzak).

As of now, this blade (the offhand) presumeably drops off of Illidan as well, however it is yet to be determined.

Keep in mind that the old Artifact versions of these glaives are now outdated and that these are indeed the real ones.

Former legendary melee weapons were famous for having an exceptional proc, both strong and proccing at a high rate. On the other hand, the DPS on Sulfuras and Thunderfury weren't overwhelming. Same with the Twin Blades, the DPS increase over Illidan's Dagger is mild, but the proc rate on the set might be very high. The second set bonus sounds weak but by the time someone is wielding the set, it's unlikely that his/her raid group is regularly going to visit any raid instance "below" Hyjal and BT, with both instances being loaded with demons.

Acctually there is a hunter legendary weapon! or not really "hunter" but its still legendary and says hunter on the inscription, and thats Thunderfury!
So yes you have had a Hunter weapon.
+ your quest line for your bow on lvl 60, still a Quest line, nothing like that for a rogue.
And illidans abillitys was kinda rogueish still, not Hunterish.. like Priestess of the moon.

Indeed an awsome set of items...
They are a bit more rouge minded then warrior since rouges gets more from agility.
But as a dps warrior I would say that i really could use these to great use as well.. Ahh well.. Gotta finish up TK first >_>'

This item is understandably Legendary, as in the Lore of Warcraft, was obtained by Illidan from the leader of the Burning Legion, Azzinoth.

This also has an impact on Illidan's fate and the War of the Ancients.

So far, as of 7/29/2007, there have been 10 Warglaive of Azzinoth drops both EU and US. All of which were Main Handed. No off-handed Warglaive of Azzinoths have dropped yet.

So far, there have been 24 Illidan kills both EU and US. So that kind of gives you an idea have the drop rate of both the main and off-hander.

First off if someone like a mage, druid, shaman, hunter, priest, paladin, Warlock, basically any clas that is not a rogue Or Warrior , this blade is downright useless ok ... An enchanter would probably want to DE for a void crystal or something and try and make a prophit, and my biggest deal is this, The original Warglaives had 135 dps and was useable by any class that could wield a onehanded sword.
Sadly with the Expansion pack it is useless to Draenei and Blood Elves. But hey I can deal with that. But this sword is a mockery of its predecessor. the Original Was the greatest ... If you wanted duel wield you could ... or say you wanted to wield a onehander and the Phaseshift Bulwark just right click the blades and fuse them together and BAM! there you go 177 dps blade and a some 7000 armour shield with a 208 block rating Yes these new warglaives suck ass.

Proc rate on the Twinblades is somewhere in the realm of 1-1.5ppm, the same as dragonspine trophy.

Also, take into account the next raid instance is The Sunwell, where "tweaked out blood elves high on magic" are trying to summon Kil'jaeden, the last Lieutenant of Sargeras. Seeing as the Legion is very much involved with this instance, I wouldn't doubt there to be at least a few demon bosses within.

As someone who has a hand of Ragnaros, I just want to say I do not think this weapon should be of Legendary (Orange) quality.
The Hand of Rag, Staff of Ateish, and the Thunderfury sword all take a tremendous amount of resources to create, which must be built up over a long period of time.

This, though a rare drop... is the weapon. This sword is like Hand of Rag dropping instead of the eye of sulfuras... But with other legendaries, you needed multiple, extremely rare items to drop (eye of sulfuras, 8 sulfuron ingots anyone?, not to mention another ignot and a weaponsmith just to be able to craft it)............. this is just a drop. Nothing more to it then a random boss drop, just a lower drop rate.

Dunno, just stating my opinion, if it isnt diffucult to get, just a random boss drop and takes nothing to make it, no time invested to craft it, it shouldnt be a legendary.

you cant be serious. your little "random boss drops" happens to be one of the, if not, rearest items in the entire frekain game. Yes, TF and HoR take much time but finding a guild to get you through kara, gruuls, mag, ssc, tk, hj and finally all the way through BT till illidan def takes WAY more time then gettting mats to create those weapons. it takes months or years for guilds to coordinate themselves to get here. And idk if you realize that only a handful of guilds get to illidan and from that very few actually see this weapon drop. 1-3% drop rate. GG with that

In all honesty - When MC was the newest of the new instances, remmember when farming FR gear and tubers was priority #1?.... I'd say ..
1. Killing Ragnaros
2. Getting a 2% eye of sulfuras to drop from ragnaros. (getting 40 people with enough FR gear to kill him first remmember)
3. Getting 8 Sulfuron ingots to drop from golemagg (18% drop rate... 1 chance per week.... average of less then 1/month at that rate!)
4. How many fiery and Lava cores? 10 of each? (Getting 20 cores is hard when they are going into FR gear for others)
5. How many arcanite Bars? 50? (remmember, pre-BC these were 40g+ each, atleast 2k total)
6. 20 Dark Iron Bars
7. 25 essence of Fires
8. 10 Blood of the mountain

Is a little harder then killing Illidan and looting. I know Black Temple is not easy mode right now for everyone, but for several guilds it is. Remmember, Molten core wasnt easy mode at first either.

I dont care what anyones argument is - Looting a boss is no where near s hard as having a legendary weapon crafted.

hmm imo nowadays its too easy to get legendary items, in our realm, in one guild have 8 legendary OFFhand, and aswell that guild have 2-4 mainhand.. last one went as minDKP.. :( and aswell couple of other guilds in our realm have aswell couple of those... like 20-30 Main or Offhand legendary on EU Twisting Nether..

These glaives would be perfect Fury warrior (and why not rogue too) weapons if both had speed of 2.50~ and higher dmg range in offhand.
As this 1.40 glaive doesn't pack much damage in whirlwind or offhand attacks.
All in all still the best set for warriors and rogues of right spec, Imho

Mages miss out of stats by not using a spellblade, but we don't go up to people and start stabbing them. It is clear that hunters were designed to be a ranged class. A hunter does not need this weapon.

they have removed the class restrictions on them so ANY DW class can now use them. Still going to have to get a group willing to farm it every week at 80 might be kind of difficult...the 3% drop rate will make you cry. and thats just to get one =(...that and everyone else is gonna want them even still just cause they look awesome!

Blizz has also added DK to the list of classes who can use Corrupted Ashbringer.

Someone linked one of these today, and my druid saw something like "boosts attack power by 750 in Cat, Bear, and Moonkin form only"...but it still showed as "Classes: Rogue, Warrior"

Why would the item list a bonus in Druid shapes, if Druids can't use it?

It was always a sad truth growing up in TBC as a warrior that rogues would always get priority on these weapons, but they really are better for them to be frank, the haste a rogue would with these/mongoose/slice and dice just makes them a GG weapon for rogues over warriors

Haste has dimenishing returns. So the more haste you have the less it does. But still very awsome dps. Not to mention Bad @SS effect is up there with TF.

pretty much trinket proc, 35% haste from slice and dice (5 extra % is from 2 piece slayer) glaives procing, 20% from blade flurry, bloodlust, and a priest MC's a necro and gives him a 100% speed increase buff.

Plus, a low HP Troll with the Racial.

Looking at the weapon speed these are terrible weapons to get for a dw dk.
Slow slow is the way to go for dk's
also I don't think they reach their full potential in the hands of a warrior

I just equipped my OH Wargliave for the first time in a while and noticed when seathed on the back that it appears the graphic is backwards. I do not have a MH to check if it is the same. But I could imagine having both on would look really different then it used to. Anyone notice this change?

I recently submitted a ticket about that my glaives would look weird if i did change my undead character to troll, and received this answer;

the name sounds sort of like Azzathoth. However, while Blizzard has referenced HP Lovecraft many times before , I don't think Illidan's blades are named after the Blind Idiot God at the center of all chaos. The similarity in naming is worth noting, though.

Ya I happened to be unlucky enough to be the raid leader when this dropped, and my policy on legendary items is that noone get priority. So I had all the rogues and warriors roll on it and sadly an 80 rogue won the roll over a 70 twink :(. That 70 later kept telling raid leaders I was a ninja and getting me kicked from every raid I tried to get into.
So I reported him and havent seen him since :D

Just got my MH on my first BT kill i was so happy when they passed it to my 70 rogue. SO appartly the MH will drop befor the OH first around 90% of the time.Does anyone know if the OH has a higher drop chance if you have the MH? or vice versa

To anyone still trying to grab your pair of these, I just got my main hand on my 70 Rogue. That's the 6th warglaive drop in our BT runs in two months.

Do NOT be discouraged if it takes a bit. You will get them if you run BT every week.

Just finished farming these, for anyone who's interested in doing so, prepare for a long grind. It might not take you as long as it did me, but it's really worth it in the end.

I got my off-hand on the 18th week of making a pug to BT every week. Few months later another off hand dropped. There were a total of SIX OFFHANDS before my main hand finally dropped on the 54th week of me farming it week in, week out. That's just over one year!

Yes its still possible to obtain these weapons, and as it seems for now Death knights are gonna be able to equip em in cataclysm.
Even with statements from blizzard before they werent gonna be changed for dks, it seemed all the qq'ing from em helped, so keep QQ'ing!

It looks like one of the people on Paragon's World First Siniestra kill had the Warglaives of Azzinoth equipped. Is that the case, or do they have a set of updated ones, like they did The Destroyer Of Worlds two-handed sword?

I been farming this warglaive for weeks, no drop yet. Im putting together a Illidari collection gear set on my warrior. Teir 6 gear (except for the helm), Cursed Vision of Sargeras, The Skull of Gul'Dan, Purple Trophy Tabard of the Illidari, Medallion of Karabor, and the Warglaives of Azzinoth set.

as 85 u can go with 2 friends and clear BT with 100% chance to get the glaive if it drop so it doesn't realy matter who can use them anymore :)

Got this on my dk not long ago. I noticed something strange though, when Ilidan was saying his final words the warglaives shrunk to about the size I'd have them equipped (blood elf female 1h size) then once he actually died and we could loot him, they went to a massive size again. I'm wondering if this always happens or it only happens if a warglaive drops. I'll see when I go next time.

EDIT: Just looked at some videos of the fight on YouTube. The warglaives do shrink and go back to normal size, but this doesnt effect if a warglaive will drop.

When i Got my Громовая Ярость, благословенный клинок Искателя Ветра and my Сульфурас, Рука Рагнароса i noticed that i got the guild Achievment before the actual feat of strength achievment (which i got when i equipped them)
I think it's very important to know that if noone in the raid can use the glaives or any other legendary simply raidroll them because the guild the character is in will earn the guild achievment for the legendary weapon if the character is at the required reputation level with the guild.

I did BT with my BF for rep and called dibs if it dropped, and the OH dropped, so then the next time we went I called dibs on the other so I could get my guild the achieve, so the MH dropped.... my poor BF is still trying to get the cursed vision for his transmog

Someone's going to figure that out eventually...

To add to the long drawn out question, warglaives cannot be Transmoogrified. I personally belive they are still powerful how they are, time to time i catch my self PvPing with these. Great weapons and wonderful shape and color, Love the weapons!
( These are still achievable)

According to the statistics I did 14 BT run so far with my rogue. Offhand dropped 3 times but never saw mainhand yet.

Fun bit of trivia - if you run "Well of Eternity" dungeon with the glaives equipped, Illidan will comment on them.

I'm fairly sure that the drop rate has been changed couple times over time. In BC era on crowded realms (20k+) seeing a player wielding the TWO warglaives was kind of an eye candy.

I think I remember the wowhead page saying something like: 0.4 (1 every 250 runs) or even worse 0.04% (1 every 2500) now a plain 5% (which is a lot, 1 every 20 runs) and players can enter BT to kill Illidan only 52 times a year. I'm not 100% sure about my memories about the drop rates back then but if I'm right players can have an idea of how difficult was the drop of these glaives back then.

I have collected many legendary items, but these are just amazing! I got the off hand warglaive my 18th run, and my main hand one on my 24th... I wish someday we could transmog all legendary items because really there is no point in having them unless you put them on to show off.

My dk has the MH glaive.
My warrior has the OH glaive.

My warrior has seen 3 OH glaives drop since, my DK hasn't seen any glaive yet after the MH dropped.

Holy...
I was just after this legendary for the 8th month now, and seen it drop just NOW!
I rolled, and another guy got it who doesn't even know what is that, just "looks fancy".
Imagine the pain, I got after 8 months, when you're on every week, every raid and hoping to see this. And then a random guy ruins everything. I've never been so pissed in WoW... Never. Ever.

Fellas, quick question. I have both on my warlock just to have and now i want them on my dk but they never drop. Ive done BT over 30 times. Does my lock having both effect the drop on my other characters?
Its driving me crazy how long its taking for just one to drop. So i was thinking maybe this is the reason

Imo all legendarys should work like a heirloom 1-90, since its so hard to obtain, with exception of cloak. Maybe that one unlocks after WOD launches so it can be sent to other toons.

I Looted this when i just started playing with my dk in the beginning of cata with the old guild. And i gave it away to another guild member of my old guild. Stupid noob me ;) Ive been trying to get it again and again and again, again etc ;)doesnt seem to drop tho, my question is can you loot this more than once? cuz i allready looted it with old guild..

got two off hands with my warrior (not in the same run ofc) switched to fury and noticed that i could equip both of them... so, if you got both main, or both off (like me) you could use them on both hands just for show while you grind the other :)

Has something changed since last patch? Main hand dropped 1st Run on new toon after hitting 100. 8+ Runs in now and now and both Shards dropped, zero OH, and no other MH drops.. why why why no OH drops? Have run 8-9 times also with 2-3 other toons, and no OH drops either, so im curious if the drop rate for the OH has plummeted or something since last patch or I just have uber bad luck lately. I have noticed Maiev needs to get on some antidepressants as of late...

Seems to sheathe backwards on my character's back. When he's putting it away, it looks like ), but switches around to face the other way, to look like (, and shows the handle facing outward. Has this always been like this? I just got this glaive last week. Don't have the mainhand yet. But I seem to remember the glaives curving outward )( when sheathed, when I've seen them on other people.

Excuse me, why can Death Knights use this even though they do not benefit from agility? I understand Warriors, as they can supposedly equip anything, but Death Knights weren't added until after this was, so... is there something I am missing?

Probably the coolest looking legendarys in the game.

It's worth noting that if you do the "Well of Eternity" dungeon from cataclysm, there is a special interaction with illidan. specificly he says after killing the first boss "Curious weapons you wield... such power"

With the announcement of Demon Hunter as a hero class in the LEGION expansion, Боевой клинок Аззинота will include the Demon Hunter class as well as Monk, Rogue, Death Knight, and Warrior.

I'm sure nobody will believe me, but I sitll have to post it here.
I've been farming this piece of green terror of my sanity for over 6 years(with some long pauses of course).
About 3 weeks ago I've got my 10th Main Hand Azzinoth dropped again. All my friends,who play WoW had been laughing hysterically when the 5th one dropped, but now the only reaction was: "...tough luck man...". Anyway since it was 7th time, I've contacted Blizzard support and they've wished me great luck. Sadly, it didnt work. After 10th time I've contacted them again in order to celebrate this "meaningful" event.But of course, the only response I got was a pat on my shoulder and explaination how the drop system works(like I haven't already knew that after 8 years of playing WoW).
Although my luck with mounts is quite relevant,perhaps it's the price I pay for it.
Never the less, I wanted to share my rare and ridiculous farming moment.

P.S.(during Cataclysm off-hand actually dropped, but for my druid, and the funniest thing is, nobody could wear it.)

It finally dropped some time ago...I'll never forget that harsh rng ever.

I´m farming Illidan with 3 chars every week and all 3 had 1 warglaive. 1 day before this weeks reset though this changed when the offhand dropped for my dk completing my first set. It took 40 kills and 3 mainhand drops which isn´t too bad but I´m still pretty happy I finally got these awesome weapons.

But that´s not the end of the story. I still have 2 other chars that want their complete set and just 1 day after my dk got his I went back to bt with my monk and I couldn´t believe it when he also got his offhand to complete his set. I was even more excited the 2nd time because it was so unexpected and ofc lucky. For my monk it took 33 kills.

I´m also glad I can save myself a lot of time every week and just have to go once now with my warrior for his mainhand.

edit: I guess I made this comment a few hours too soon. I just went to bt again with my warrior that needed his mainhand and don´t know what to say but it also dropped and so my weekly journey to Black Temple came to an unexpected but happy ending. It took 35 kills this time.

These really should give attack power instead of agility, so that they are of some use to Death Knights and Warriors, who the very things say that they are meant for as well as the agility-lings.

Also, why are they such low resolution in comparison with the other Black Temple items? Mine looks stupid next to the Shard of Azzinoth, which belongs to the concept and is only two bosses apart. Is it to tantalize people that only have one, because you cannot find another one handed weapon with as low resolution as the glaive you have?

Just so people can know BEFORE hunting these, they are SWORDS. Blizzard have not reclassified them as warglaives. In order to transmog them, you must be using swords and not actual warglaives.

I'm starting to wonder if they raised the drop chance secretly for Demon Hunters. I have been trying on my rogue almost every week since BC to get these, never saw one drop once...but, within the three weeks since DH's have been released I've acquired both glaives in three tries. I've also seen a bunch of Demon hunters with at least one. My point is, if you're a DH you should try for these (if you haven't already). It kinda seems like something is up.

For those of you going after these as a Demon Hunter, I just want to put in my two cents on how I farmed them. It's known you can skip half the bosses by climbing the chain, but I got really good at climbing it to the point where I'd never fall. The YouTube vids I watched showed people frantically jumping and sometimes falling off. Anyways, the way I climb is this:

Get to the base of the chain. (After the second boss, once indoors immediately turn left.)
I stand slightly on the right side of the chain facing slightly to the left towards the chain.
Do Not ever press forward. (As in walking.)
Keep the right click pressed on the mouse at all times for steering.
Now simply start triple jumping to victory.

The triple jump propels you forward so there's no need to press forward. Just go slow and steady. With your finger holding down the right click you can steer into the chain at all times.

Well, I hope this helps someone. I almost gave up in the beginning, always getting close to the top only to fall off and start over. Once I got it down, I was able to run this instance in seven minutes. Now if I could just mog these d@mn things! =)

Keep farming Боевые клинки Аззинота on any character, so your Demon Hunter unlocks the Арсенал: боевые клинки Аззинота transmog when any character clears Timewalking Black Temple.

In curious as to whether the set bonus for these was disabled as part of a sweep for old items. It's the same for the Fangs of the Father. I don't have any of the single legendaries, so I don't know if all old oranges have had their abilities disabled.
