Finaly a pure upgrade to the Icon of the Silver Crescent, This may well be the best caster trinket in the game out side of Hyjal/BT.
Only things that come close is the Darkmoon Card Crusade and maybe the Eye of Magtherdon, though personaly i think this is probably better than the Eye of Magtherdon at least.

This is indeed a crazy good trinket, assuming this is not changed that would make this better then any trinket outside of the Skull of Gul'dan (off Illidan), even surpassing the flat +80 damage of the Darkmoon Card: Crusade. That hardly seems like proper itemization for a trinket that drops in pre-tier 5 content...

Most of the other caster gear is rather disappointing in this instance (speaking as a warlock). This is the only item I am truly interested in.

Aside from this there is the necklace of Zul'jin and the hood also off Malacrass, everything else seems to have spirit or mp5 on it and the little bit of spell haste available at this level isn't enough to make it excell like the T6 gear does.

This trinket seems crazy good, but seeing as there are no decent caster trinkets in SSC/TK it seems well itemized.

i was luckey enough to get this trinket 1st day ZA was live.
currently its bugged i believe and if you use this trinket 1st, u can immediatly use silver cresent, thus stacking trinkets LOL OP

Right now (18/11/07) trinket does not set off a cooldown on other similar trinkets such as the Icon of the Silver Crescent.

I hate this trinket its driving me crazy ive ran Za since its opening i think i do it a decent amount like 1-2 times a week and I have yet to even see this trinket drop for me ive ran za about 30 times. I have missed a week here and there but 30 times is a bit ridiculous. Hexlord has 14 loots and this is like my 30th za and it apprantly has a 11% drop rate.With me running it that many times and not seeing it once is GAY!

It is the 2nd best trinket it game for destro locks, only The Skull of Gul'dan is better (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32483).
Any caster should get this trinket imo to max out his dps.

This trinket does not drop... No matter how many runs I go with my main. It wont drop... And when I go with my alts it drops every run...

For every guild/pug/whatever that won't ever see this drop, there is another guild that is disenchanting this or giving it to off-spec classes.

This is the best trinket you can get as a shadowpriest, unless you kill Mu'ru at sunwell. it has a huge spell damage available, and a nice activate CD.

It's roughtly 20DPS more than crescent, and is 41 heroic badges cheaper. But you need to clean Zul'Aman, and have it drop of course ;)

Still, very good trinket, raiding shadowpriests should get this one !!

Depends on which party you ask, but as far as raw DPS and not depending on procs or anything, this is the BEST trinket for spreists.

Spell haste might be reeeeeally nice, because I'm sure any spriest would LOVE .5 second Mind Flays (if that's true), but for raw damage and not having to worry about going oom too fast (for those of us with small mana pools and/or not ridiculously massive +dmg) this is going to be your best bet, along with Icon.

This is still a phenomenal trinket, as a T4 mage going into WotLK it was the last BC epic I replaced, and not until 80 heroics. It is well worth trying to find an achievement/old school run of ZA for new casters leveling in Northrend.

The first epic item I ever looted from Zul'Aman, on my mage. I was so happy at the moment, as we were the first 10 people who raided the new 2.3 instance, which was just released and installed on my server. Great old days...

This item is no longer obtainable since the Zul'Aman raid was converted to a level 85 5-man dungeon during Cataclysm.
