One of the convenient aspects of expansions for WoW has been the habit of developers to include a few levels of gear lower than the previous build's last cap, i.e., including new-content gear from the expansion which can be worn by players who may have been just shy of the level cap or who were, at the time, undergeared and may not be ready to venture to new territories.

In WotLK, we have 4 such level / gear grades - 67, 68, 69 and 70.

These non-set "set items" are all dropped in Northrend and are, of course, BoE and "of the..." equipment, making them excellent for auction house fodder or to fire off to an alt of your own. These "sets" will be listed by their level, armor skill requirement and name.
