Весьма и весьма полезный аксессуар как в пвп так и в пве
"мольба пандоры" + "Талисман востановления" = 108 + 128 = 236 маны))) кул)))
Более чем отличный тринкет для холипала, тем более за баджи. Брать сразу.
hmm that has to be a mess up.
says last 20s but the CD is 20s ha.
Most likely a bug. It's highly unlikely for a trinket to give a constant bonus.
Judging by the other non-bugged Coliseum trinkets, it's real cooldown might be 2 minutes.
I may be wrong though. Just a prediction
OMG, i think Holy pallies need tissues
judging by the shared cooldown tab I'd say its 2min
The values on all the 25-man trinkets are programmingly significant: I would not be surprised if all of them change completely before 3.2 actually is released. WiP trinkies, watch this space.
Allow me to quote myself, please try to keep it in mind (
*note to self*
I think this trinket could be very good or even
<insert caster class>
, since I use intellect for mana aswell as mana regen, and heal or do damage with the spellpower proc.
<Insert caster class>
will surely have precedence over other classes
-despite the fact that they also use intellect and spellpower-
because I obviously benefit the most from this particular trinket.
holy ^&*!, 128 int + 599 sp when used :-O
I think will be 2 min cd, and will be a awsome trinket.
This trinket is one that all healers would seriously need to consider purchasing at some point though. There are plenty of situations I can think of where an extra bit of spell power would help, such as frozen blows on Hodir, phase 2 of Mimiron, healing incinerate flesh on Jaraxxus, XT tantrum, Hard mode Freya after ground tremors, the list goes on and on.
The spell power buff given by the use effect is called Hospitality. When you use this, your character will also do a melee swing animation and a blue aura will pulse for a second or two.
I'm not sure if I want to replace me Egg of Mortal Essence with this... if you count the use as 599 SP/6 it's the same spell power so it comes down to 128 intellect vs. a 505 haste proc (I'm a druid). Thoughts?
Arcane mage math...
+128 Intellect gives you:
23 Spell Power
23 Mana Regen (out of combat)
Scales with Blessing of Kings
Mana return from Evocation scales with mana pool
Works extremely well when macroed with Arcane Power (duh) ;)
I've likely forgotten something here. Feel free to add!
edit: These facts are based on the assumption the arcane mage has 5/5 Mind Mastery and 5/5 Arcane Mind.
edit2: I just realised I also get +5% intel because my character is a gnome. These figures may be slightly skewed for other races.
This is my math for this trinket and what it gives. I also put the stats for Soul of the Dead. These stats are for both Discipline and Holy Priests. I am in Ulduar 25 + ToC 25 gear.
Soul of the Dead
: 90 Mp5(One proc per 50 seconds) + 2.07% crit
Base Stats(No Talents)
Spirit Regen = 5*.005575*.6*Spirit*Sqrt(Int)
Intellect 1564(412 mp5), w/ trinket 1724 (432 mp5)
24 mp5 (Replenishment) (Int*15*.01)
20 mp5 (Spirit Regen)
5 mp5 (Rapture) (/12)
17 mp5 (Shadowfiend) (Int*.104)
Int 1376(400 mp5), w/ trinket1517 (420 mp5)
20 mp5 (Spirit Regen)
21 mp5 (Replenishment)
15 mp5 (Shadowfiend)
mp5 Crit Mana Pool Spec
66 .96 2400 Disc
46 .84 2115 Holy
Soul of the Dead
Disc: -24 mp5, -1.11 Crit, +2400 Mana, +599 SP 20 secs (2 Min CD)
Holy: -44 mp5, -1.23 Crit, +2115 Mana, +599 SP 20 secs (2 Min CD)
8 minutes + 20 Seconds for -24 mp5 = 2400 Mana. (2400/=500 Seconds, 500/60= 8.33 Minutes)
4 minutes for -44 mp5 = 2115 Mana. (2115/=240.34 seconds, 240.34/60=4.005 Minutes)
The 'on use' animation sucks, it is look like a normal swing with a weapon, oh yeah! Seriously it could be more fun than that.
Very bad trinket in general Except for holy paladins in my opinion. The only reason it would be best for them is that they currently get the most use out of intellect. ( I guess it could be okay for a disc priest who goes oom which shouldn't happen that often). To the person who is using the insert class example is retarded because intellect has different values for different healers for example a holy priest would just get 128 intellect out of it and some amount of crit. A holy paladin would get 140 intellect out of this and 27 spellpower and 10 percent more crit from it then the holy priest.
Improved Mark of the Wild
This trinket gives druids 130.56 int ^^
In actuality, Disc Priests still get 15% extra intellect vs the 10% holy paladins get. In terms of that, Disc Priests benefit the most from a full on Intellect trinket like this or Pandora's Plea, Tears of the Vanquished etc. Disc Priests also get the crit from intellect, as stated in my previous statement.
Also don't forget, that we get mana regen from int also, so taking that into consideration - although priests get a generally lower crit rating from int, we do get 15% compared to a paladin's 10%.... so sorry to burst your bubble trollmon, but I think we disc priests have the upper hand with this trinket. *high 5*
+130.56 int is equal to:
15.7 Spellpower with
13.56 mp5 even while casting with
This used along with plea procs can turn out to be quite insane.
For example, as a paladin ( assuming plea procs )
- The SP component itself is an insane source for 'regen', as your FoLs will be good enough to keep the tank alive for the duration - thus saving mana , because FoL is so much cheaper than HL. With respectable gear, you will actually GAIN mana while chain casting FoL, rather than actually burning it.
- Higher SS procs. With 4pct8.5, that means you proc a ~4-4,2k dmg absorbing shield every 4s.
- Higher FoL Hot. Imagine landing in a 13k FoL crit, and having 4pct9.5. Yeah.
- Insane burst healing when combined with all cd's , if needed.
Needless to say, this is one of the best trinkets you can have, and it's easy to get also. A must have for anyone that can't get trinkets like Solace of the Fallen / Meteorite Crystal.
I have just bought this item as an Arcane Gnome mage.
and i noticed that this trinket has something related with engineering.
Notice that if you are an engineer and you use
10 (not 12, i think this is a bug and will be fixed) Second cooldown on this trinket(and ofc otherwise, if you use trinket first, you got a 20 sec cd on the hands
For those who make the macro
/cast Arcane power
/cast Icy veins
/use Conqueror's Kirin Tor Gauntlets
/use Talisman of Resurgence
(simply because they are on my t8.5 gloves)
it seems you will either have to wait for the CD to finish its timer or adapt the macro, atm i am still testing what works the best for me, ill share my findings as soon i know more
Spellpower trinkets for druids:
Illustration of the Dragon Soul
Show of Faith
Eye of the Broodmother
Titan-Forged Rune of Audacity
Darkmoon Card: Illusion
Talisman of Resurgence
Embrace of the Spider
The Egg of Mortal Essence
Redeemer's Alchemist Stone
Memento of Tyrande
Mercurial Alchemist Stone
Increases spell power by 599 for 20 sec
= a passive 99.8spellpower
128intellect = 1920(if in a 300sec fight = 32mp5)
So, to sum it up:
(if in a 5min fight)
MP5 trinkets for druids(sorted by mp5 ofc):
Spark of Hope
Darkmoon Card: Greatness
Figurine - Sapphire Owl
Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon
Majestic Dragon Figurine
Living Ice Crystals
Tears of the Vanquished
Show of Faith
Spark of Life
+73 haste rating
Soul of the Dead
Talisman of Resurgence
Talisman of Troll Divinity
Memento of Tyrande
Darkmoon Card: Illusion
Bangle of Endless Blessings
Something useful for Holy Paladins:
Aside from the obvious increase in output for FoL/HoL/HS, it's also great to use when output is low...
/use Talisman of Resurgence
/cast Divine Plea
I could imagine the developer-conversation during the process of creating this item:
Developer 1: Okay, so the trinket gives a passive 128 Intellect and has an ability to give 600 spell power for 20 seconds with a 2 minute cooldown?
Developer 2: 600 spell power? That's way overpowered!
Developer 1: Right... 599 spell power?
Developer 2: Much better.
For Moonkin druids, this trinket is as good as abyssal rune. However, a key benefit is the on demand spellpower. It is especially useful fights that require you to burn adds fast.
As a mage I find the Buff name "Hospitality" quite offensive!
I want to be anything but hospitable to the person whom I am melting face.
so, since this shares a CD with Fetish of Volatile Power, the following macro can't be used?
/use Talisman of Resurgence
/use Fetish of Volatile Power
If that's the case, then that sucks ass. Fetish + Talisman + Icy Veins + Arcane Power + Potion of Wild Magic would be 20 seconds of distilled pew pew.
and others thinking about this trinket's worth. As some previous comments had serious problems, I decided to build an explanation with accurate calculations. These easy numbers will make it more natural for you to know what you're actually getting, whether with Talisman or applying this knowledge in the future.
First of all, Paladins need to include their stat buffs (or spell it out if they aren't) when analyzing something. This is even as basic as every class including
(10%), then we specifically have
(2%/4%/6%/8%/10% talents, all five traditionally used). The first thing you should always do is to add the stat modifiers - Int * 1.1 * 1.1 - when figuring out an item's worth. For example, a 20 Intellect gem "is" actually a 24.2 Intellect gem.
Secondly, turning a mana "PPM" into Mp5 is quite simple.
is exactly like this when used on CD. There are 12 times 5 seconds in a minute. 60/5 = 12. Simply divide the mana PPM by 12 and you'll have it on an exact Mp5 value.
Lastly, if you want to know the exact Mp5 regen out of a certain amount of Intellect, there is a magic number. Simply multiply the item's own Intellect by
or just memorize
. Simple as that to obtain a fairly approximate value that is easy to use for any given item - for example, using it for this item at 128 Intellect, the total difference would be inferior to 0.05 Mp5. For all practical purposes that's fine as this includes all stat modifiers and a 100% uptime of both
. This is therefore the maximum possible regen; duly note that the real regen you'll get is always inferior to this, depending on how often you use Plea and if Replenishment fades at any point during combat (for example, 90% uptime on the latter is considered to be a common average). Also consider that
Mana Tide Totem
Seal of Wisdom
swings and anything else that's more circumstantial is not included at any point in this post.
With all of that cleared, this trinket's 128 Intellect is actually worth:
regen for this on constant HL spam as a benchmark would be somewhere between another
(1 Int = 0.33 Crit rating; 1% Crit = 46.08 Crit rating)
Holy Guidance 5/5
You can take advantage of the trinket's on use effect when casting Divine Plea every other minute (just like you would with
T10 2P set bonus
) so as to be able to heal for more during the duration even as you keep regening a good chunk of mana. This is a more powerful effect than having a passive SP bonus.
I might also add that the often debated usefulness of Spellpower for Paladins as of 3.3 is essentially about how much you are able to successfully keep using
as your main heal, maxing out its performance. At a higher gear level, buffing FoL rather than simply your Intellect is actually a good alternative to the spending of
's hefty mana cost and its overhealing. We've been offered very good new tools to do this, like the HoT from
. It should also be noted both of these spells have high coefficients with SP, namely
100% for FoL
75% on SS
. However, raw mana enables more HL spam and therefore unbridled tank healing with higher EHPS due to the sheer constant casting of spells; overhealing will reach staggering numbers even while each HL heals for less (when compared to stacking more SP) but the net result explains why most Paladins lean towards the stacking of Intellect and will continue to do so.
The above is important also when comparing this to
Solace of the Defeated
, the sole contender at this ilevel since from this data, you'll see
blown out of the water. If you flatten the Talisman's on use effect into a passive, while not the most fair thing to do, you'd bring it down to
which you can actually keep the full uptime of a lot easier than those maximum values of Plea used on CD and constant Replenishment. Because of this expectedly lower realistic uptime, let's round the previously presented optimal values (~71.63 Mp5 + 10-15 Mp5) down to
for Talisman. The initial ~2323 mana is recovered in any given fight longer than 4 minutes after the point where you have a fully stacked Solace (can start the fight as such but otherwise it shouldn't ever take more than 10s to do). After that, Solace is at least a constant 48 Mp5 better than Talisman.
Emblem of Triumph
trinket loses on both accounts to Solace by a considerable margin, especially in regen for a HL use on boss fights that are average or long in length.
80 resto shaman with 3/3
Talisman of Resurgence
+21 healing (
+2115 mana, equivalent to 35 mp5 over a 5 minute fight
+599 spellpower for 20 Sec. use every 2 min.
+100 effective spellpower or so over the 2 minutes, if used whenever it is available
should apply to added intellect
Blessing of kings
Drums of Forgotten Kings
With +10%, the stat bonus would then be +140 intellect (+.92 crit, +23 healing, +2326
mana/38 mp5 in 5 min fight)
Plus the cooldown spell bonus!
Also, Intellect aids mana replenishment from other classes, and is a bonus for mana tide totems, plus, a little intellect is never bad no matter what you want to do!
Sorry to put this reply here, just want mages to see this when they come with questions.
level 80 Draenei Mage
w/ the cookie cutter arcane spec, this trinket gives:
2220 Maximum Mana
122 Effective Spell Power (22 Base + 100 for the use, Assuming you use it when it comes up)
20 MP5 (10 in combat w/ talent)
How would this work for an Elemental shaman? At the moment im wearing haste trinket from toc5 normal and the hit trinket from VH, but Im way over the hit cap so kind of wondering if I should buy this.
out of curiosity, how would this trinket be for holy priests compared to disc?
currently am using
hero badge trink
Loving the trinket on my Arcane Mage, aside from the obvious stat gain the huge chunk of mana provided is invaluable.
Now I can hold off much longer between evocations and most of the time don't need to stop combat for mana, instead I can wait for opportune times (like between phase changes on Northrend Beasts) to channel so I don't lose damage.
Anyone know how this would compare to Illustration of the Dragon Soul for an Arcane mage?
Is this worth getting for a restro druid?
I was wondering how this would fair for a lock, will it be a good choice? Thanks in advance
You are better off farming for
Nevermelting Ice Crystal
if you're a lock. Both are fairly attainable.
And to vestergardi int is not the worst stat for locks, most likely Armor Pen is.
It's not totally useless for a lock because of the spellpower buff, but all in all, I'd say don't waste emblems on something like this. Intellect is almost completely useless for locks, and you be much better off getting the hit trinket if you really really want an emblem trinket.
Hey, so I'm a fireball spam spec (20/51/0) and am wondering which trinket would be better for me to use, this or Battlemaster's Ruination, which is a 150 spellpower trinket with a use effect that grants 4608 health for 15 seconds. I'm not sure because the intellect on this trinket is amazing for my spec which can use all the mana and crit it can get, and that the use effect of this might be more valuble then the passive spellpower of the Battlemaster trinket due to me being able to use it with Combustion for massive damage improvements. Any sort of opinions, comments, theorycrafting?
Needless to say, this is not a dps trinket. The only reason to ever consider this trinket as dps is if you have a large surplus of triumphs, nothing to spend them on and horrible luck with trinkets. You wouldn't be looking twice at it if it wasn't for item level, the somewhat lackluster selection of easily obtainable dps trinkets and how easy triumphs are to come by these days.
There's hidden perks of this trinket that the theorycrafters are going to miss. Sure, the math comes short for a lot of classes/specs, but the item remains very popular for good reasons.
1) It's extremely available. Running 12 or so heroics is easy. Very easy.
2) Its on use proc is one of the best in game. The "on damage" and "chance to" trinkets are going to be optimal with a 10minute parse, but the game has comparatively very few 10m parses. For many players, 20s periods are more noteworthy. They want to fry someone down in a duel. Or they want to get that heroic boss down in under a minute. They may even want to just hit a targeting dummy really hard. It's reality, and shouldn't be criticized. For on use procs you have Titan-Forged Platinum Disks for PvP'ers, but the spellpower is lower. For 60 badges of frost you have a hit trinket with a more powerful use that is, first, useless for healers and second, 60 freaking frost badges. Then, you have a bunch of others that are inferior to both and harder to get (Ulduar, etc).
3) Int, while optimal for certain niche classes/specs, is never strictly useless for any class that has mana. For example, the Arcane Mage and Disc priest will not be pining too hard to replace this trinket if they change specs. Same with a resto shaman that goes elemental. "On hit" trinkets and the like have a much wider variance to performance when things change.
The reality for many is that we have to actually get an item in game, regardless of what's optimal. A lot of people just bit the bullet, play a dozen heroics on the weekend, and get this one for the long haul.
As a mage what should i choose to with it?
Warlocks: Please stop using this trinket. Every time I see a warlock with this equipped I want to reroll :(
As an arcane mage i dont think this is that good. In fact i think it is pretty bad. The on use effect averages to 599*20/120=99 average spellpower ( yes i know you get more use of them using the trinket during cooldowns). And the 128 int is less than 25 spellpower. I would get a 130 spellpower trinket with a crappy effect over this most of the time.
is this trinket goo for destro warlocks?
So I had this equipped because I am a big fan of the on use, it really is hard to beat having 599 spell power available at the click of a button.
That being said, i "downgraded" to the sundial of the exalted. As dps (destro lock), the only number I really care about in the end is how much damage can I do. After switching to the sundial, I found my dps went up about 600 (from 4100 to 4700). To me this more than resolves the debate.
For my lv 80 holy priest this was equal to 38 mp5, in case anyone was wondering about holy priest.
Compared to "Winged Talisman" and it was a lot better for both healing and dps.
Is this good for a Balance Druid?
Welcome kind sir! Allow me to show you some hospitallity by melting your face with +599 spell power.
Worth mentioning that in cataclysm, this will stay the same- 128 int, 599 spellpower proc. But the difference is that intellect will be a direct spellpower buff (specifically, you get 1 SP for each point of int on your gear). Which makes this trinket considerably better during the 4.0.1 transition into cataclysm. Not amazing or anything, but clearly a decent farmable item.
This goes well with a draenei priest in disc/holy in a healing macro. all 3 of these has seperate cooldown, non-globale aswell..
/use Talisman of Resurgance
/cast Gift of the Naaru
the talisman allows you to get an extra boost of spell power thus allowing your renew spell to tick for about 1500+ than its regular tick and the gift of naaru will tick around 1200-1800 depending on your current SP.
stats with this on.
Spell power is 3004 without the use effect.
with the spell power use i get 599 added. giving me 3603 spell power
Gift of the Naaru
ticks for 1431-1432 5 times giving me 7157 healed.
gave me 2464-2465 giving me 4 ticks with the
Glyph of renew
. 9640 healed.
thats is 16,797 healed over time. thats easily a
crit on my character
Is now an epic caster trinket as Intellect converts directly into Spellpower.
Surprised nobody else commented on this before me. This trinket isn't just for Healadins anymore! After patch 4.0 it is a viable option for non-healer based DPS casters. If you're like me, and ran heroic PoS 44 times and never once saw NMIC drop, well... this is a breath of fresh air! This can be easily farmed through heroics now. Enjoy.
