Сегодня был первый раз в каменных недрах хм, упал дракон. Не ожидал, что сроллю) тогда подумал, что он каждый раз падает, теперь, посмотрев шанс дропа, задумался не только над его видом, но и ценностью для коллекционеров. Со стороны хила услышал исповедь о нубах, которым нужно прекратить подписку... пичаль

Убил босса в нормале соло хантом. билд 7/31/3, пет - медвед (узы духа 2/2 взяты). Маунт выпал с 2го захода. Сам босс не сложен, единственное - там пет может застрять в камнях, которые падают с неба, и они являются преградами для хила, приходится подбегать, ну и из луж выходить. Хил на пете должен висеть 100% времени. уровень шмота 343. 1й раз убивал просто в своей пве синьке, второй раз убил в той же синьке но +2т5(шапка+руки) для бонуса (15%дмг в хил пета). А вот паки перед боссом уже проблематичны. сначала пробегаем мимо 1го пака(где стоит гном) и убиваем 2й пак, 1й раз я убивал пак, контроля 2 моба трапами в ММе, 2й раз в сурве используя так же виверну. Если сложно убить за 1 раз весь пак - можно просто зергать по 1му мобу и выходить из боя, и так далее. После 2го пака убивается 3й, и только после этого идем к 1му паку и либо зергуем гнума до 50%, чтоб он сбежал и открыл проход, либо убиваем пару мобов из пака, ложимся и зергуем гнума. Далее просто в камуфляже бежим к 2му боссу. Вроде все. Удачной охоты :D

только сролить не получилось(какой-то маг сролил вначале шмотку на хила (зачем она ему?), потом и маунта=((

Озадачил вопрос, а реально ли его убить соло в нормале варом 85лвл. Один раз собрался, затарился бинтами и фласками, дошел до босса и.... плюнул на это сомнительное дело, да ушел гулять =))

Сегодня рандом гером попались недра, дропнулся дракон - порадовался за когото, сролил - порадовался за себя! =) 2ой раз вижу его в дропе - впервые шамой на 83ем в нормале при мне упал - не сролил. Так что да - падает и в нормале и в героике.
+сегодня накопил таки 200 баджей на Поводья дракона западного ветра никак не могу теперь решить на чём летать))

Хантом соло убивается на раз. Самая соль - это разобраться с Михеусом Манаштормом, а дальше можно спокойно идти в камуфляже до самого босса.

Позавчера стал обладателем этого дракона. Он действительно очень красив. Жаль только что на данный момент багнут, игрок сидит не в седле, а в самом драконе. Но, если не приглядываться, это не так уж и заметно =)

Сегодня выбил в гере. Не ожидал совсем, тем более что сролю. Дракон красивый конечно, но немного напрягает почти бесшумный полет, бесшумная посадка и /mountspecial. Особенно непривычно после Дракона крыльев пустоты.

Хожу соло в нормал, убивала дракона уже раз 10, поводья не падают. Чтож за невезуха такая. Когда ходила с пати рандомно,падали при мне 3 раза,не сролила. Печаль....((

Пришёл на офф выкачал лока,сколько раз ходил в Каменные недра вообще ни разу не упал,качнул альта друля,первый раз попал в недра(84лвл)выпал,я сролил,на ближайшее будующее всю свою удачу я думаю исчерпал=)уж по роллу точно.

Мини гайд по фарму данного маунта локами. Я лок (демо).Чтож, поехали за эпик лутом, ребятки?=)
Требования: фласка на хп и еда на хаст-инту + стамину приветствуется, также обязательно в вашем спеке иметь 2/2 прокачанного канала здоровья, иначе ваш дровосек тупо просядет на боссе. Вообще, можете глянуть на мой спек. Ник Владисимус.
Вот мы в инсте. Перед Вами первый пак. В нём мы тупо убиваем Миллхауса и покидаем инст. ( Лучше не юзать метаморфозу и слить Миллхауса на дистанции от пака. Заходим. Скипаем первый и второй паки. Идем к третьему ( где нет Миллхауса). Этот пак мы сливаем на прожатии всех кд ( первым кастера, потом берсерка). Убив этот пак мы лечимся и кидаем на себя сс. Вы чуть возвращаетесь назад ко второму паку, где щас стоит Миллхаус. Ваша цель быстро слить Миллхауса до появления остатков первого пака( который обязательно сагрится). Чуть отойти от пака по возможности и умереть. Как пак побежит возвращаться на свои места вы быстро встаете и идёте к первому босса ( там сначала стоит Миллхауса, которого впоследствии задавят). Босса Вы скипаете.
Пак перед вторым боссом, тут довольно просто, из обязательных тут только 2 великана, которых при грамотном использовании демонического круга можно скипнуть ( конечно предварительно убрав пета), также можно юзать алхимиковскую фласку на инвиз.
Вот Вы и у босса ( ппц неужели). Бой будет долгим, нудным и особенно требующем вашего внимания. Пета лучше своего затаргить ( запомнить цель). Вы впускаете пета в бой, когда подойдет к боссу, врубаете вертушку. За вертушку вы должны накидать на босса побольше всякой дряни ( лучше только доты с ЖО, руку гулдана лучше на боссе не юзать, т.к. много агра даёт). В общем, вы накидали всякой дряни на босса, а теперь следите за здоровьем пета и под ноги, ибо под вами регулярно будет появлятся сака, что отнимает не хило так хп, потому Вы просто делаете круговые движения вокруг босса а в промежутках кидайте на босса доты и хильте пета. ( Если вы послушались моего совета в начале и вкачнули канал здоровья 2/2 в талантах, то дровосека будет легко отхилить). Весь бой примерно так и идет, по ХП вы мб просядететь на 30-50% не больше. Да ещё один важный момент, за бой вы можете пару раз набрать 100% агра, подпустить к себе босса и юзнуть раскол души, таким образом агро снижалось до 10%, только следите за кд абилки.
Чтож, молодые и опытные чернокнижники. Удачи в бою, ну, и эпик лута!=))) Надеюсь я смог Вам помочь. Счастливо!
P.S. Возможен и другой вариант убийства Миллхауса во втором паке и скипа всей второй комнаты. Быстро убив Миллхауса под всеми кд ( при этом не юзав душу демона) Вы бежите к первому боссу, он давит Миллхауса встает на место ( в это время вашего дровосека уже скорее всего снесли), Вы заходите во вторую комнату призываете синяка, включаете душу демона и мгновенным спелом как пламя скверны обкидываете всех кто встаёт на Вашем пути ( при этом всё агро из-за души демона будет идти не на Вас, а на синяка). Синяка снесли, снесли Вас, вы встаёте под сс и идёте лупить босса.
З.Ы. Недели две-три назад таки выбил, почему-то было больше мата, чем счастья=)) Ран где-то двадцатый, удачи, может и Вам повезёт с дропом?

мм хант 369 илвл, фармил в соло...
когда вспомнил, что этот дрейк падает в нормале - решил в кратчайшие сроки выбить, т.к. текстура очень понравилась.
И понеслась...
1й день - 23 рана
2й день - 37 ранов
3й день - 27 ранов
на 87й ран выпал...

дбм показал 25 килов в нормале и 2 в героике на момент дропа, ходили элем шам и паладин.
иногда получалось пропускать пак из 3х камнерезов, пробегая у стены, так же пару раз пробегали мимо первого толстого, когда он подходил до конца пути (не к червю а в другу сотрону) пробегая мимо, и он уходил назад.
так же до этого килов 15 сделали элем + лок, идти было сложнее.

Хожу фералом в соло.
Первых 3 пака зачищаю полностью. После прохожу в стелсе к боссу. Перед боссом накидываю на себя хоты+если есть вот эта триня Весы жизни настакиваем её до максимума и вступаем в бой.
Главное отходить от луж во время наземной фазы и от камней во время воздушной фазы. Когда босс взлетает быстренько обхотываю себя или сдаю транквил и обратно продолжаю. Если хорошо одеты то 3х минутные сейвы не потребуются.В общем бой длится 5-9 минут. Удачи в дропе.

Убиваем его с товарищем(ферал+маг), уже 90 раз, а о маунте даже и не слышно. Первые три пака быстро сносим, далее в стесле минуя первого босса и треш. На ран уходит около 5 минут. Жаль ограничение на 5 инстов вешается быстро :-(

Камнешкур, в нормале, убивается протваром соло.
Для этого нужно:
1. зачистить стартовые паки, оставив как можно больше земляных яростней.
2. Зачистить паки за корбором.
3. Вернуться назад и сагрить всех живых яростней.
4. Неспеша идти на босса.
5. Бьем босса, танча яростней. Лучше всего постоянно двигаться и отпугивать элемов (стакают минус армор).
6. Как только ХП падает менее 50% - убиваем одного элема + хилимся виктори ражем.
7. Мне хватает 7 яростней.

P.S. Основная проблема - сдувает сильно, поэтому фласа на резист - маст хэв. Прежде чем убивать элемов - лучше всего поюзать неистовое восстановление, шв, шб, т.к. на момент убийства последнего яростня, 99% - Камнешкур будет ещё жив (а кд должны будут отойти). Возьмите пот на ХП и бинты.

Только что выбил за ДК с 22 трая. Убивал всех(треш+босса) в бладе, в дд шмоте(за неимением танковского). Вот минигайдик : Идем на первый пак, сливаем всех кроме Манашторма, на втором паке аналогично, на третьем тоже самое, после того как убили 3й пак сливаем Манашторма. Корбора скипаем пробегая у стены, в пещере вы можете либо убить "големов", либо купить зелье невидимости и пройти под зельем. Далее убиваем Камнешкура и лутает дракончика) Грац! Инст проходим естессна нормал.

Зафармил сего маунта за 3 дня и 78 ранов . Хант бм , 31/7/3 .
Пет - черепаха .
Тактика :
В первом паке мобов убиваем только Милхауса . при этом заюзав все кд кроме рапида . Вешаем перенаправление и агрим пак залпом . После того как трусливый гном убегает отзываем пета и притворяемся .
Скипаем второй пак и сразу проходим к третьему , сделать это можно и без камуфляжа .
Далее третий пак , его мы должны полностью зачистить . Начинаем с моба кастера , сбиваем ему силу земли устрашением ,затем моба с енрейджем ,а затем уже орков. Не скупимся на кд , спамим хилки , не забываем юзать перенаправление .
Далее мы возвращаемся ко 2 паку и проделываем то же самое что и с первым паком . Милхаус убежит сразу к месту откуда выползает червь .
Итак , его пришибает вместе с солдатами . Мы прыгаем в камуфляж и проходим прямо до самого Камнешкура (Ахтунг! В пещерке бегает время от времени орава мелких кристаллических паучков , не напоритесь на них).
Бой с босом - это самое простое . Просто натравливаем пета , хилим по надобности , стреляем , убиваем .
Удачной охоты !

P.S. Варлоки вполне могут использовать данную тактику , но вместо камуфляжа использовать круг . Ставить его , когда моб отойдет , а как вернется и пройдет круг телепортироватся и пробежать далее .

незнаю ребят, вам походу дела ооооочень не везёт!
я вот сегодня зашёл раз туда (друг попросил репу ему покачать) так дракон с первого раза и выпал!
я чуть необосрался от счастья!
там вот в чём фишка с ним, он выпадает с вероятностью 50 на 50 если босс летит на своё обычное место где он всех бить начинает и лагает то-есть изчезает а потом снова появляется тогда может поводья и выпадут. У меня по крайней мере так и было.
изчез, появился, убил поводь и выпали.

Хант,хожу в соло, на трай уходит 7 минут примерно, уже сделал 95 килов за 3 дня ((( поводьев нет
Ps: 155-й трай, поводьев нет (((( прямо невезуха,лучший кил драка 1.40, правда одеваю 2т5 чтобы не париться с отхилом черепашки, сам бой чистый слак мод, убиваю в сурве

Фармлю фаер-магом. Соло. К сожалению пока не упал.
1 забег - 7 минут. Дпс на Босе 25-30к.

Пройти паки мне помог первый пост лока Hitman47. Спасибо ему.

1 пак - Контроль Землереза. Перед собой кидаем "Кольцо мороза".
Мобы заморожены, бьем Миллхауса - выходим из инста.

Заходим. Направляемся к паку номер 3. Помним что "кольцо" на кд.
3 пак - Котроль Землереза. Убиваем 3 мобов через копии. Добиваем землереза.
Мы покоцаны - юзаем эвок.

Возвращаемся ко второму паку.
2 пак - Контроль землереза. "Кольцо мороза" перед собой.
Бьем Миллхауса.

После того как доводите его до половины ХП от бежит вызывать боса. Мы же просто бежим далее и скипаем его. В пещере 2 голема. Юзаем инвиз - проходим к Камнешкуру.

Камнешкур - бой с ним требователен к дпс, а значит к вашему гиру.

Я одевал на себя щиты и пулил дракона. Бьет очень больно, но начинается воздушная фаза и у нас остается порядка 35% хп.
Как только от начинает идти в центр - даем геру. Ждем хорошего прока пиро для наложения "Возгорания".
Дракон вновь садится и бежит к Вам. Юзаем копии а сами топим под герой дальше. К тому времени когда все копии погибнут до воздушной фазы останется порядка 10 секунд. Получаем пару тычек - уходим в айс блок и в нем дожидаемся воздушной фазы.
Дракон вновь взлетает и мы его добиваем.

Выходим из инста через портал. Обновляем.
Для того чтобы снять с себя дебаф героизма на первом паке на придется умереть.

выпал в нормале, друлю на 83 лвл при первом лфг туда, что даже заставляет расстроиться скорее, ибо флай форма родная... а тут такая редкость падает. Мне особо не горело...но отдавать за просто так такое жалко.
вообще при мне первый раз выпал, ровно как 1 раз при мне падал и дракон в вершине смерча, но ролл был тогда не на моей стороне.

Желаю выбить всем, кто так трепетно жаждет его..)

Протоваром проходится очень легко. Ставлю триню с Рагнаса на криты. На Камнешкура беру 2-х живодёров и в путь. до 1-го взлёта ничего не юзаю. на втором приземлении глухую оборону врубаю, на третьем- ни шагу назад и восстановление. Затем на взлёте убиваются по очереди оба живодёра и по +45-50к хп с каждого. Босс падает,а у вас фул хп) Заход 9-й пошёл. Пока пусто)

Снова я) Прохождение упростил ещё больше. 2 дня ходил раз по 15-20(не считал, дай бог чтоб вообще было 15заходов), ходил по началу,убивая Корбора. Сегодня стал вообще все 3 пака с МИлхаусом собирать на себя и убивал их, затем мимо Корбора пробегал(не убивая его), 2 голема убивал в тоннеле, собирал 2-х Живодёров и бежал на Камнешкура. На 3-й день,сегодня, с 4-го пула упали поводья)))) Всем удачи и успехов в добыче!

Качаю первого персонажа в World of Warcraft, элем шам 83 уровня, решил качнуться в инсте, вошёл, убили босса, выпали поводья и достались мне! Даже не знал о существовании данного маунта, можно считать дропом с первой попытки. Жутко повезло!

Убиваю соло ферал-друидом. В мишке весь бой.
Тактика.
Агрите босса, юзаете барскин, бьёте, когда босс летает юзаете хилки, лично я настакиваю жизнецвет, восстановление, Целительное прикосновение и омоложение. отом запрыгиваете в медведа.
Хорошо подойдёт хиловская тринька из ОП за репутацию, которая даёт инту

Хант сурв 399, проношу все вместе с Камнешкуром за 6+ минут, пока не выпал. Бесит что вешается кд на 15 минут, мол нельзя часто бегать.

Дроп действительно 0,7% а не 1%, как пишет атлас лут.

Выбила хантом в БМ-спеке с Духом зверя соло со 108 захода.

70 ранов за два дня. Все дошло до автоматизма. Спек БМ, на треш пет черепаха. Заходим, напул на пета, два залпа (на третий залп рву агро), замораживающая ловушка, два шага назад (чтобы моб с чарджем попал в ловушку и не ударил). Третий пак треша: вливаем в Манашторма, сдерживание, отзываем пета, притворяемся дохлым.
Встаем, аспект, камуфляж и без пета (чтобы если фейл, притвориться опоссумом) бежим до босса. На боссе пет дух зверя. Пыщ, пыщ, пыщ... и все снова.
Утешаю себя тем, что набила кучу зеленки для мейна чантера (+ сдираю шкурки со злополучного Камнешкура). Надеюсь с n-ного рана выбью драка и в пандах все персы с акка будут на нем кататься ^^

P.S. Выпал-таки со 104 рана. Терпения надо вагон просто. Следующий на очереди дракон с Альтаирия. Правда после восстановления запаса терпения ;)

8 походов в лфг,30+ соло убийств.Пока пусто.Ну между делом,наварил зелье поиска сокровищ,на треше деньги поднимаю.За соло раны около 1.5к уже

не веду точный счет убийствам,но при помощи не самых хитрых манипуляций,пришел к выводу,что уже более 70-ти ранов соло...пусто.Начинает по-тихой ехать крыша.Ну да ладно,будем-с дальше мучаться,не может ведь он вечно прятать маунта :)

прохожу за бдк,ясно дело.Решил для более скоростного прохождения перековать весь шмот на крит,чем набрал 16% рейтинга.Перековывал из мастерства и меткости.Если был выбор между скоростью/искусностью и меткостью/мастерством,то перековывал в крит последние две.Ибо макс. лвл мобов в инсте на нормале - 84,в том числе и у Камнешкура,так что 1-2% меткости достаточно.Раньше,со стандартным капом хита и мастерства,ран занимал 8-10 минут,теперь 6-8 минут.Разумеется,если обходить Корбора и не ввязываться в драку с каждым damn мобом.В тоннеле,сразу после Корбора,обхожу первого здоровенного элементаля,бью только того,который мешает пройти непосредственно к Камнешкуру.На начальных трешах первым выносится Манашторм,ибо премерзко станит;затем шамана-перевертыша,который оборачивается элементалем.Дальше - по желанию.Для бдк не особо критичен выбор: бить тауренов или орков.Илвл 386 пвп/пве шмот,ковка в крит.Правда щит крови всего 79%,но не смертельно.Юзаю брошь Варо'тена,на всякий случай.Прок частый

из сумки упал конь из стратхольма собственно именно тогда я решил собирать редких маунтов=)

Анзу упал с 2го раза.

Петух упал с кельдаласа(если не путаю) упал тоже с 4го раза)

Выбил примерно за 30 походов ретриком. Самый приятный для выбивания маунт, каждый забег 7-10 минут, а на выходе сразу зона поиска Эонакса

Я ретри паладин, хочу выбить данного маунта, но в соло никак не получается, кому не трудно, можете плз написать гайд, как пройти этот инст в соло для ретри пала.

как фармить его соло в шп:

I вариант:

1ый пак: дотаем милхауса, как только подбегают 3 милишника, сдаем фир, добиваем милхауса и выходим из инста
2-3ий паки: встаем между паками, пускаем пета на милхауса, дотаем его. Как только хп милхауса опустится до 60-70%, бежим к 3му паку и агрим его, и только затем добиваем милхауса. Умираем.

II вариант:

1-3 паки: встаем между 2 и 3 паком. пулим любого моба из 3 пака, начинаем бежать в сторону первого пака, при этом не агря 2ой(он сам на вас сагрится сразу же как до него добегут мобы из 3 пака). Когда вы добежите до 1го пака, сразу сдайте фир и вливайте фул дамаг в милхауса. Как только вы добьете милхауса, сразу же выбегайте из инста. Затем пробегайте между всеми тремя паками, активируйте червя и идите дальше.

Сам босс:

Пьем пот, юзаем пета, начинаем обычную дпс ротацию. После первого взлета просто дамажить у нас не выйдет, так как босс вас банально убьет. Поэтому после первого взлета приоритеты следующие(в порядке убывания):
1)Держать хп 30%+. Ни в коем случае не надо рисковать, так как бежать к боссу заново не самое веселое занятие.
2)Поддерживать все три доты.
3)Поддерживать 2 баффа: Усиленные тени и Приверженность(5 стаков).

Плюс второго варианта только в том в том, что вам не нужно тратить лишний голд на починку. В скорости же эти 2 способа примерно равны.

Сам пока убил его 23 раза, в среднем один ран занимает 6-7 минут.

Моя тактика такая ( не уникальная, но...) для ханта (БМ)
Начинаю с черепахой
1-й пак. Напулл на пета залпом. Сливаю только Миллхаус Манашторм. Как только он убежал выхожу из инста.
Возвращаюсь в инст. По дуге обхожу 1-й пак, сливаю мелких элемов. 2-й пак прохожу под камуфляжем.
3-й пак. Сливаю в первую очередь Землерез Каменных Недр (убиваю его до превращения в Силу Земли). Далее Вестник войны Каменных Недр, при этом по возможности не забывая использовать Усмиряющий выстрел, дабы сбить с него Гнев.
Возвращаюсь ко 2-му паку.
2-й пак. Т.к. залп не всегда попадает по всем, чтобы напуллить на пета, то я посылаю командой "Фас!" пета на Миллхауса, далее переключаюсь на ближних мобов и уже здесь напулливаю на пета залпом. Сливаю только Миллхауса. Как только он убежал, прогоняю пета и притворяюсь мертвым.
Далее под камуфляжем прохожу 1-го босса, живодеров и великанов.
Подхожу к боссу и вот тут уже призываю гончую недр (в моём случае Куркен). В начале боя Древняя истерия, Ужасный Зверь, Звериный Гнев и Ярость рыси. И понеслась...
Если же, пока я проходил, с меня не спал дебафф от истерии (обычно остается 2,5 - 3 минуты), то я вместо гончей призываю волка для +5% к криту. Т.е. у меня получается - нечетный забег гончая, четный - волк

Мой прогресс - 144 рана и лучший бой с боссом 1 минута 9 сек. Пока что не выбил

Был много раз разными персами.Не видел ни разу в дропе.А вот вчера решил докачать пала,зарегал рандом инст и закинуло в каменные недра.Убили босса,и в дропе я увидил поводья,чуть дар речи не потерял.А когда сролил,так вообще глазам своим не верил.Очень приятно иметь одного из редчайших маунтов в игре.Еферий,сд(Орда).

90й аВар, цикл забега занимает 5 мин, как раз успевает откатываться рекла. Треш после 1го босса кайтится к драку и по пути аоешится. Быстрее передвигаться помогают чарджи, прыжки и иннер в знамя. Не забывайте, что можно вернуться к входу используя телепорт за драконом. Всем удачи.

Ощущение, что дроп и в правду понизили, или мне так не везет.
200 убийств Камнешкура, а маунта все нет. Зато с треша прилично падает ткань.

Хант БМ. Фиговенько одета для мопа — 474. Проходила КН без убийства кого-либо, кроме Камнешкура и ваншотных мобов.
Рецепт: Обегаем первый пак, пуляем в Миллхауса, за пару ударов делаем, чтобы он начал небольшое тактическое отступление, после этого, не разворачиваясь, отпрыг и к следующей его остановке, где делаем то же самое. Мобы прутся за нами, можно станить часть Связующим выстрелом, можно просто чаще юзать отпрыг, можно тупо игнорить, благо, хп позволяет. Таким макаром, не убивая никого, доводим Миллхауса до неминуемой судьбы, юзаем топоры и, отпустив пета, прикидываемся мертвыми и не при делах. Мобы ведутся, юзаем невидимость и бежим до Камнешкура. "Ах-ха! Ты как раз там, где мне и надо!" :)

Быстро, удобно, метод доводится до автоматизма. Одно плохо и хорошо одновременно — 5 раз в час всего можно сделать попыток, потому что блокируются подземелья. Поэтому я делала где-то по 10 попыток в день или чуть больше, меньше, чем за полчаса. После шла фармить Лисенка на Толбараде. Лисенка в итоге подарил согильдиец, а с Камнешкуркой вот, повезло… Поздравляла и гильдия, и в огри, хотя, казалось бы, маунт далеко не последних контентов…

53 трай или около того (не считая попыток до мопа), rarity показывал шанс около 40%. (очень советую его поставить — успокаивают цифры и вселяют надежду, моотивируя идти пытаться дальше)

Итого у меня есть и Светящийся дракон с Эонакса, и Камнешкурый дракон, и Пепел Алара, и Стремительная пантера, и Анзу, и Яйцо летучего хамелеона, и Лисенок :)
На очереди Затерянный, Каражанский конь и крайне желанное Крылышко Алисразор :) И все остальное %)

Всем ку . 26.12.2012 я собрался фармить этого дракона . Уже морально приготовился к 100 траям чтобы точно упал. Фармил паладином (Вольотиус-галакронд) 90 лвл 449 илвл . в нормале заминут 7 проносится спокойной .В итоге за 4 часа фарма и на 18 ране упал дракон.) потом на след день . 27.12.2012 года пошел опять только с другом(Тимериус-Галакронд) ему за драконом. В итоге упал с 10 рана. Считается все просто : за 28 раном мне упало 2 дракона ) . всем удачи!

После фарма Поводья коня смерти (которого я получил только после 80 захода) я был готов к нудным забегам. Но не настолько! В этот раз фортуна плюнула мне в щетинистое лицо и дракона я получил только с 184 рана. Где-то на сотом забеге у меня даже началась паника, я написал тикет ГМу с вопросом "падает ли он в нормале?". ГМ вежливо послал меня, сказав, что сам не фармил и не в курсе.
Весь забег составлял 5 минут (для 90 лвл) и его частое повторение убивало мозг клетку за клеткой. В общем самый нудный фарм, что у меня был.

зы: в инсте есть один забавный момент - если убить первый пак, а потом пробежать за Миллхаус Манашторм до второго пака, то можно увидить как он садится и ест мороженку, восстанавливая хп :)

ззы: в нормале дракон падает, не паникуйте ;)

Ходил на него уже непомню сколько раз:то надоедало а то снова хотелось.Знаете как говорят"на Новый год обязательно случаются чудеса",и вот как всегда сегодня захожу в инст(героик),все чищу,убиваю дракона,смотрю лут и...у меня глаза вышли из орбит.Это было действительно новогоднее чудо!

У меня такой вопрос по специфике ~~рандома~~ дропа в вове (играю не так давно, простите): вот хожу я 100 раз в КН за драконом, не падает. Возможно ли, что где-то вошел человек и получил поводья из-за того, что я (и другие игроки) фармят или имеет место быть привязка количества заходов к персонажу? Например, вот судьбой мне предначертано выбить его на 150 ране (или на 180, 200, 300), а человек войдет со мной одновременно в инст и выбьет дракона, который должен был упасть мне. Объяснила, как могла, звиняйте если что. Просто хожу не напряжно, заходов по 15 в день (5 ранов в час считай с перерывами) и каждый раз думаю: вот я не пошла, а он может там кому выпал из-за того, что я тут бью-бью его). Так что, нужно фармить дня 2-3 без перерыва или все же разницы нету и заходе на 150+- обязательно выпадет?

1)при входе в инст,не валите сразу пак,бегите дальше и бейте только манашторма,после третьего раза,замочите 3 пака разом,так будет гораздо быстрее

Наврали про процент выпада его с босса(0.9%). Он выпадает очень часто я вот в Каменных недрах даз 12 бывал и все 12 раз он выпадал но я его ни разу не сроллил. Если вы ходите туда часто как бешеный фармер то он у вас не сроллится)))

Сегодня выбил поводья ! Ходил магом (90-уровень фаер) ходил может раз 6, в обычный режим и вот выбил =) Помоему там шанс ну уж ни как не 0.7 % , так как многие мне говорили что падает то с 2 раза и тому подобное. Вообщем желаю удачи всем в фарме )) Главное наберитесь терпения, как это сделал я при мониторинге Эонакса, которого я выслеживал 200часов.. уухх..

27.03.2013 сразу после полуночи выбил сие чудо с 3его рана в обычном режиме( на героик силенок не хватает) xD, устал ждать Эонакса, и решил убить время - пробежать каменные недра... на дракона вообще не расчитывал.... а тут такой подарок судьбы)) следующая цель - Поводья светящегося дракона P.S. всего сделал 15, +/- 5 ранов; Акумарин, ЧШ.

Только что выбил его где-то с 25 рана, параллельно кемпил Эонакса , но пока без результатов. Заметил что обычно ( без лута с маунтом ) дракон стоит к игроку передом когда к нему приходишь ,а когда выпал маунт он стоял ко мне задом...Я сразу подумал что может это что-то значит и понадеялся на маунта...и тут на тебе и он на самом деле маунт внутри! Хотя может быть это и совпадение, хотя до этого он всё время ко мне передом стоял.

Я короче доволен, всем удачного фарма ;)

Не знаю как и начать, в общем решил поквеститься в Подземье и выпала дорога в Каменные недра. Ранее там не бывал, дк 90-й, особых напрягов не увидел, дошел до дракона, побегал от всяких каменюк и огня, зерганул его, лутаю, а там эти поводья. Сразу же посмотрел вовхед и понял что очень крупно повезло. Вероятно сработал принцип - новичкам везет и везет тому, кто ничего не ожидает. Потому как многие вещи, на которые загоняешься, не падают, а тут такой подарок.

Всем привет! Сегодня выбила этого драка с 20 трая соло (нормал). Пару мес. назад ходила только вдвоем, суммарно траёв 80 где-то было. Сейчас очень просто стало фармить даже на маленьком илвл (у меня 470il), эффекты оглушения убрали, остался только один от Манашторма на 1 сек.
Самое странное - перед выпадением поводьев Камнешкур сделал "трюк" и сагрился :) Хотя, может, это просто совпадение :)

Может это просто удача, а может что то другое. Но ходил я на этого дракона долго(не так долго, чтоб 500+ траев), но все же. И в один момент я проверял свою сумку и нашел предмет, который валялся там еще с клизмы. Это был Последнее яйцо Реи. Так вот, я его поставил, и во время боя вызвал этого дракончика. В итоге - выпал камнешкур.

Видимо не зря я его берег) всем удачи! Попробуйте, может и вам улыбнется удача с этим итемом.

Как дело было - провалился мой мейн под текстуры и не хочет вызволяться никак. Ну я тикет накорябал, думаю что делать, пойду за дыка камнешкура фармить. Ну и на 19 забег выбил.

1 раз при мне падал в катаклизме. Его сроллил маг, который сдох в начале инста и лежал афк. Перед боссом пытались его кикнуть - безрезультатно. 109 ранов в кате. В пандарии так-же продолжил его фармить. +150 ранов, а я его так и не увидел...

Несколько полезных советов.

Хотите проходить практически за 90с, при этом убиваю 1 босса? Купите Зелье скорости.
Из 1 тира талантов возьмите Молниеносность.
Как должны выглядеть ваши большие символы? Ледяные осколки
Интерфейс > управление > автоматический сбор добычи, так же ускоряет процесс
Если вы портной, собранную ткань можно пустить на 2ую по вместимости сумку в Пандарии Иллюзорная сумка

Интересная особенность, Маунт дропнулся когда с 1 босса Корбор упал Украшенные доломитом перчатки

И вы знаете. На днях словила Дракона северных ветров. А сегодня ночью в половину второго явился мне и Камнешкурый.
Либо чудеса бывают. Либо за мной охотятся ведьмы. Либо мои жертвоприношения Сатане наконец дали плоды.
А если серьезно.
Дракон упал в нормале с 160-170 траев, точно не помню. Фармила просто архи лениво, иногда 10-20 заходов в день, иногда 2-3 в неделю ._. Но не верила, что с такими стараниями что-то кроме вездесущих латных перчаток словлю. И таки есть.
Поэтому, все будет ребят, успехов вам, котики ^-^

У меня забавная история.Пошел же я в очередной раз в этот инст,дошел до босса,говорю брату:"добей его,я пока в туалет схожу".И что вы думаете,прихожу-вижу в луте.Я очень сильно охренел.

Джаммалан - Свежеватель Душ.
Дропнулся с 14 убийства по ДБМу (фармил в пандарии, в катаклизме убивал более пятидесяти раз, в таблице не видел ни разу). Фармил в элементал спеке. Чайник творит чудеса =)
Дракон один из самых красивых в игре, и даже не потому что редкий, а из за модельки и анимации. Камни на его крыльях, спине и хвосте светятся в темноте слабым нефритовым оттенком. Выглядит потрясающе.
Самому Камнешкуру главное не дать взлететь, под бурстами в 530+ шмоте его вполне реально убить за 10 секунд.

Рогой, используя инвиз и спринт там где это нужно, можно делать 1 попытку за 1 минуту 30 секунд. Думаю не каждыс классом можно так быстро управиться

Блять я сделал в этот сраный КН уже 200 траев и просто заебался!и ладно если бы просто 200 траев так в течении месяца я траил и других маунтов.И блять за этот месяц знакомому выпало 7 довольно редких маунтов!(в том числе и конь из каражана которого фармлю 4 года).Что за ебаный Корейский рандом!А этого дракна он выбил вообще тупо спонтанно сходив пару раз надеясь на "а вдруг" и блять "ВДРУГ" случилось!

Время от времени пытаюсь нафармить каких то интересных маунтов типа Поводья грозового ониксового облачного змея и Поводья синего протодракона ,но дальше Поводья бронзового дракона продвинуться не удалось.Сегодня был очень не удачный день,в рейдах не везло,пол дня ломал голову где бы нафармить золота для роскошной жизни,но так и не придумал :) .Решил для интереса слетать в Каменные Недра ,попробовать их фармить для поднятия голды и Угольный шелк .Попутно почитал что можно маунта дропнуть,но с моим везеньем на эту тему замарачиваться не стал.Ползу себе по данжу,фармлю,дохожу до Камнешкура,весь в растроенных чувствах,даже не стал одевать Талисман поиска Истинных Сокровищ .Ну собственно открываю лут с дракона и вуаля,там лежат Поводья камнешкурого дракона ).Я в полном шоке,сижу сейчас на дракошке :)

Кратко о себе.

Мутирог 540. подготовка. Еда на +300 фласка препот
Заняло все это 81 секунду от входа до выхода
нужные таланты: внезапный порыв, сюрикен

Тактика
Под спринтами и порывом пуллим все три пака веером (манашторм должен оставатся в фокусе), сливаем его сюрикеном он пробегает до червя, сбрасываем комбат ванишем + кошем, под спринтами до дракона, на драконе препот+кулдауны. Все.
за час сделал 30 ранов

Решила выбить этого дракончика =) Хожу в соло, при илвл в 502. фрост дк. собираю все 3 пака , заливаю. дальше убиваю Камнешкура. на все про все уходит где то минуты 4-5, я потихоньку, не спеша :D пока что 4 забега. посмотрим смогу ли я так же тщательно выбивать этого дракона, как например выбивала Зульскую пантерку
как выбью - отпишу с какого выбила рана =)
Один совет, сливайте элементалей земли больших в 3х паках первыми, если дпса мало и не можете хилится. могут уложить на лопатки)

падает совсем тогда когда его неждёшь поставил задачу делать по 40 заходов в день и решил на второй день фарма сделать на 1 заход больше и о чюда он упал).упал с 81 рана удачи)

При наличии шмота паки лучше убивать на месте, где они стоят, ибо они бегут очень долго (а кастеры и вовсе могут не добежать до босса), убив все паки на своих местах мы выходит из боя после босса и можем портануться в начало инста. 550 монком хилом чуть больше двух минут на забег. Если убить босса до второй фазы, то в две минуты можно уложиться.

Зеленым хантом 500ilvl рекорд забега составил 1:37. Обычный ран не превышает 1:50. Это с учетом эвейда треша после 3 убийств гнома, а также пропуска первого голема и эвейд второго голема, что стоят в тоннеле между 1ым и 2ым боссами.

Трех персонажей хватает для постоянного фарма без остановок. (зачастую хватает двух, но иногда, после 3-4ой смены, есть 5-10минутное окно, поэтому лучше иметь третьего)

Всем привет!Начал фармить этого дракона с 08.07.2014 посмотрим когда упадет))Но скажу вам больше я не парюсь особо рано или поздно он упадет(об этом говорит мой опыт почти все редкие маунты у меня есть кроме Эонакса его нет только по одной простой причине что я его не фармил пока ко всем маунтам я подхожу последовательно,основываясь на этом опыте могу сказать одно и дать общий совет,никогда не парьтесь упадет или нет(знайте одно,упадет рано или поздно).Второе никогда не отходите от своей цели,если ты забил на это значит тебе это просто не нужно,все везде падает главное упорство и цель.И еще это единственное что тебя отличает от простого игрока(который дропнул редкого маунта и человека кто сам целенаправленно его получил).Так что всем фармерам главный совет никогда не растраивайтесь рано или поздно все у вас будет))).....Главное не забивать и не отступать...Удачи в дропе))

ИМХО его удобно фармить вместе с кемпингом эонакса - полетал по респам, залетел в данж, пронес до камнешкура, пошел обратно кемпить
выбил где-то с 10-11 трая (странно, что на маунты с данжей мне везет больше, чем на маунты с рейдов - ониксию/каражан/алара каждый кд хожу выбивать и никак, а в данжи залетаю раз в полгода и в итоге выбиваю с 10 траев ~_~)

Фармил паладином с середины катаклизма, примерно с 2011 года, после 500+ пулов забил фармить на некоторое время, в 2013 снова продолжил и делал ежедневные раны до кд инста, упал сегодня 12.08.2014. По аддону показывает 917 пулов, рандом есть рандом, орал как бешеный. Еще сегодня же у меня друг апнул предзаказом лока до 90го, и сходил по фану 1 пул, и как тупо и недостоверно это звучит он ему упал с 1го рана, я просто был в полном ахуе, но грацнул черта, рандом этой игры не перестает удивлять до сих пор.

Я разочаровалась в рэндом-генераторе. Всего второй заход - и дракон выпал :)

Для справки: курица с КельТаса в Террасе Магистров выпала, когда 2 персонажа имели превознесение, а третий был на полпути. Анзу - пятому (четырьмя проходила только Сеттекские залы). Ониксия, Малигос и др. - все еще в процессе.

Для тех, кому уже приелся фарм маунтов дам совет: 10 ранов за одним( или сколько там ограничение), 1 час афк (например сериал посмотрите), как кд спало 10 ранов уже за другим, так хоть полегче будет, успеете отдохнуть от предыдущего инста.

Начала фармить еще с августа 2014, если было время, ходила в инст (на нормале) сколько мог выдержать мой мозг, иногда неделями пропускала.
В результате в общей сложности выпал на 294 заходе в нормал +15 еще в героике проходила. Старалась пройти максимально быстро, правда иногда и первого босса убивала от скуки.
Вывод: не сдаваться! Он когда-то должен был упасть - и он упал.
Всем страждущим желаю удачи и терпения.
В качестве бонуса падающие вещи и ткань, на которых можно заработать, скрашивают томительное ожидание нужного дропа.

Впервые я этого маунта встретил, когда качался (про маунта, конечно же, не знал), идем, пишем всякую херню в чат, тут чел говорит, типа у моего мейна есть такой-то маунт, выбил с него(катаклизм, тогда маунты не шарились), убиваем босса и он падает, я офигел, сразу на вовхед, смотреть как выглядит и, честно, я был шокирован его красотой, я в него сразу же влюбился, тот парень, который имел этого маунта на другом чаре, конечно же ролил, естественно сролил, я был очень расстроен, но не отчаивался, выпадет же еще ;)
Сделал все дейлики сегодня, решил отдохнуть - позвали в доту, сыграл разок, сидим с другом в скайпе, болтаем, а я в это время решил за маунтом сбегать (а вдруг), а он уже спать решил идти, я такой "Ну, ок, давай". Включаю музыку и иду к нему :3
Заходов около 200, сильно устал фармить, думал идти или нет, все-таки решил сходить и вот он! (Первый трай за сегодня)

Сегодня только узнал что этот маунт падает оказывается в простой обычке, и что бы совсместить пракачку репы с остроухими блондинами решил попробывать пофармить этого красавца=) На положительный результат если честно и не надеялся. Месяц почти хожу на синего протодрака в 3 чара и ну никак не прет. Правда вчера упал маунт с всадника. После ТРЕТЬЕГО трая, падает мне этот дракоша, признаться честно ахринел. Особенно после прочтения как кто то ходит по 300 раз и без результата, был готов траить и траить и траить. А тут так и не получилось прокачать репу в этом инсте. Подтверждаю в обычке он падает!

Фармил именно сам инст в нормале - зеленку и угольный шелк. О маунте как то не думал.

Итак, для заметки, инст проходится в нормале 1,5мин (монк 570ИЛ), 10 раз сходил, час ждешь, кд вешается на учетку так что твинки не помогут, мне достался с 15го раза с чем меня и ГЦ ))

За всю кату ни разу его не видела в луте ни с рандомами, ни потом при соло фарме, я очень "везучая" =)

Выбила сегодня, сделала за день 39 ранов в нормале, на последний наконец упал.
В среднем забег делается за 2 минуты (588 гир, все автоатакой убивается), если скипать в хантовском камуфляже (или аналогами у других классов) треш после Корбора, то еще быстрей.

Всем удачи, особенно таким же невезунчикам, вроде меня, которым приходится фармить-фармить-фармить. Терпения всем)

Фармлю пристом 100 лвла
На заход уходит минуты 2
Каждый раз сажусь перед боссом на колени (/kneel) и читаю молитвы Богу Рандома
Хоть как-то стимулирует)
Если фармите этого дракона, лучше иметь энчант на ботинки повышающий скорость передвижения (Чары для обуви - поступь пандарена)
Также, удобнее всего фармит пристом/монком за счет их мобильности (Ну если у приста естественно же вкачано Божественное перышко, а у монка )

Залутал на ~300 заходе. Каждый - по ~2 минуты. Единственное, что понял за время его фарма - лучше не задумываться и делать всё на автомате, тогда и не обидно будет после нескольких сотен попыток, да и по-моему, когда ты идешь за чем-то не специально, то и прёт больше.

Тоже решил пофармить этого маунта, так как немного не хватало до 200 Парад средств передвижения, на пронос тратил около минуты (хант 640илвл), ускорение с и Отрыв с Быстрая реакция, мобов валил Залп и Шквал, не лутая, а боссов Выстрел химеры. После 8 траев на нормале повешалось кд, ну и сегодня перед ашраном решил пробежаться, с первого захода выпал :) Желаю и вам такой удачи!

Выбил его неделю назад. До этого не ходил за ним. На выбивание ушло 3 трая в нормале и на радостях, пошел еще и за конем с Ривендера, который сдался на 7 трае. Что интересно, до этого дракон северного ветра упал с первого соло трая в Гере (в кате проходил гер раз 100 и не видел его вообще в луте). Всем удачного фарма! Не поверите, но выпал с 3-его трая.
1-ый раз ходил в лфр когда качался
2-ой раз делал ачивку для гильды
3-ий раз ходил делать ачивку Послушание Наказуемо (случайно убил босса ДОТом, не успев разобраться с адами)

Причем обнаружил поводья только на следующий день в рюкзаке (у меня автолут всего).

Упал мне сегодня с 15 захода. Кстате однажды он мне уже падал с 1 раза моему роге еще с релиза каты. Но он был за орду и я тогда продал тот аккаунт, так как перешел за альянс и за другой клас. Флай мне очень нравился, но я всегда думал что так фортануть конечно же не может во 2й раз и даже не пытался его выбить. Ну вот и прошло много лет я пробежал своим дк по фану и он ко мне вернулся )) Всем успехов.

Сегодня выпал "Вечная песня" 12,30 ч по уральскому времени. На не знаю уже каком забеге по инсту тремя персами! Через пару лет фарма. Каждый раз идя с надеждой получаешь в результате не нужный хлам. Сегодня мой третий заход в инст, с первого боса падал тот же предмет двум персам и вдруг, что то новое выпало что я ещё и ни разу не выбивал с этого боса. Показалось что что то изменилось, хороший знак пронеслось в голове! И вот он, красавец, начинаю бой дракон падает, волнуюсь открываю и вуаля вот он! Красавец слов нет радость как у ребенка. Кто выбивал тот поймет, а остальным удачи!

Я не знаю в чем прикол фармил всеми персами сбился сколько раз заходил они уже жили не в гарнизоне а в подземье! Тут решил за орду зайти варом и тоже там поселить рядом с инстом, и вдруг со второго трая с обычного режима! Не верю своим глазам! Удачи всем!

Мне вышло сообщение - "за последнее время вы вошли в слишком большое количество подземелий".

Все запомните, что если вы выбили редкого маунтав в рейде, то у вас есть шанс в этот же день выбить еще несколько таких же редких маунтов в других инстах.После того как быбил Астрального змея я сразу пошел в Каменные недры(чувствовал, что упадет) тем же персом и на 3-й трай полутал Камнешкурого(всего не более 30-40 неспешных траев)! Так же я выбивал Крыло Миллазор и сразу Ониксию этим же персом! Да и почитав многие комменты, понял,что так многие выбивают. Видимо есть брешь в системе везения у Близзов

1-й раз случайность,2-й раз совпадение, 3-й раз статистика! (Мне 2 раза уже так фартануло, по отзывам вовхеда еще такое же видел несколько раз, поэтому дерзайте!

И так, 99 траев... Я поступаю очень плохо, так как не пишу в этом комментарии ничего полезного. Я просто решил обратиться к вселенским силам вовхеда. Прямо сейчас я свернул игру и пишу этот коммент в надежде на лучшее. Босс стоит перед мои персонажем, готовый к смерти. Каждый трай я отмечал в блокноте в виде зарисованной клеточки, и пришло время добавить ещё одну. Я прекрасно понимаю, что 100 траев - это мало. Я, в принципе, и не расстроен, мне никогда не было трудно делать однообразные вещи типа фарма маунтов с инста. Но всё таки хочется попросить вовхед об удаче, как делают под каждым подобным маунтом. Ладно...100-ый трай.

Всем глубоко пофиг, но как и ожидалось - маунта нет. Думаю, я отчаюсь на 500 заходе, если такой будет. Не буду больше загрязнять вовхед таким глупым комментом и не буду писать, когда маунт выпадет по сказанной в этом предложении причине. Пойду фармить дальше.

Сейчас меня закидают тапками все у кого за плечами 100+ походов без толку, но я честно признаюсь - он выпал мне с первого раза! Да, да, именно с первого раза, когда меня вагонил друг по гильдии, в павшем драконе мелькнула иконка этого маунта, и я осознал - нужно скорее писать сюда и хвастаться перед другими ! (кстате Непобедимый упал с 7 трая) чего и вам желаю.

Незнаю как у вас Ноя камнешкурого дракона фармил с моего старта на ВОВ на пандах ихрен знает скока я прошло траев но во время Кача твинков часто падал камнешкур Ноя постоянно проигрывал рол и обижено ругал и материл всех и в легионе когда я сделал полёты в легионе и когда все проч попытки маунов были тщетны и мне было хуево мне выпал камнешкур я этого маунта щитал своим камнешкурым проклятием потомушто никак немого его выбить и постояно проигрывал рол на ним любым твинком и наконец я добыл этого красавца теперь пойду фармить других маунтов надеюсь после этого удачного момента дропнеца невыпадимый он же непобедимый конь Короля Лича эх за все мои времена игры так и не упал зараза зато выбил большую рокету любви я давно мечтаю о Непобедимом и мне стыдно за тех людей што не ценят этого коня которого умня увы нету но это вопрос времени я готов лупить Артаса в хме по как не даст Коня Пусть Даже если придеца я буду лупить Короля Лича Пока ВОВ не вымрет Ноя выбю с него коня!рано или поздно!

Пост для тех, кто уже отчаялся и касается он не только этого маунта, а фарма ездовых животных в инстах в принципе: главное - это, как ни странно, стабильность.

Я фармил маунтов с выхода Катаклизма с иногда более чем годовыми перерывами, но все же в общем количестве проносов злополучных инстов было овердофига (статистика врет, посему нет точных цифр).

У меня, как и у многих тут, уже дергается не один глаз при фразах "Что за недоноски осмелились вторгнуться...", "О, вы как раз там, где мне и надо...", я так же как и вы ненавижу Сетеккские залы, дорогу до Терраса Магистров и уже с закрытыми глазами уворачиваюсь от камней в Зул'Гуруб.
Сейчас я точно понимаю, что нельзя побегать по инстансам четыре дня подряд, ничего не получить и, негодуя, забросить это дело. Мне понадобилось почти 8 лет, чтобы это понять, за которые я смог разжиться только Стремительный белый крылобег=) И вот с февраля 2018 года я выработал для себя некое расписание ранов по подземельям и сделал это для себя приоритетной задачей, ведь контент обновляется постоянно, а маунты.... они навсегда=). Что бы ни происходило, я должен был каждый день ходить по боссам: Скади Безжалостный---Камнешкур---Альтаирий---Анзу---Мандокир Повелитель Крови---Верховная жрица Килнара. Это те боссы в инстах, которые держали при себе тех маунтов, в которых я влюбился 8 лет назад и которые особенно ценны для меня=)
Ходил как запланировал: ежедневно, а что до инстов с драконами катаклизма, где они падали как в гере, так и в нормале, я делал по 5 ранов (1 гер и 4 нормы - без фанатизму).
Итог: первыми 26.02.2017 упали Поводья повелителя воронов, и я буквально раскрыл рот и не мог поверить! А что происходило дальше - это полный "ахтунг!") 27.02.2017, во вторник за 15 минут до обновления подземелий, я прилетел в Утгард с идеей пофармить дважды (до и после сброса), пошел и Поводья синего протодракона упали мне в лапы, я прям обомлел от прухи! Полетал в Огри 5 минут, сервера обновились, и я попёр в Каменные Недра, где естественно никакого драка я не получил. Вышел, обновил инст и пошёл в норме, и .... Поводья камнешкурого дракона оказались моими! Я вам всем клянусь! Не с целью доказать фарт, а просто с целью поделиться радостью! Это было неописуемо! Я мечтал об этом гаде с первых дней каты, когда увидел на нем типа, который сроллил это чудо!
Идём дальше. На следующий день, 28.02.2017, в среду, перед недельным обновлением я уже 4 раза пронес Вершина Смерча и, зная, что пойду фармить все рейды с маунтами сразу после обновления, пошёл 5й раз и...я знаю, что я могу вас бесить, но ребята, он упал, он, Поводья дракона северного ветра стал моим!
Я согласен, что такое везение - это шанс на миллион, но (!) я хочу напомнить, что за каждым маунтом было более сотни ранов, а на Скади Безжалостный и Анзу и того больше. Никогда не был везучим на маунтов и в принципе, но этот чудесный февраль 2018 года я запомню на всю жизнь! Как же чудесно осознавать, что не нужно летать больше в Аукиндон!

А теперь к началу поста:

Сделайте фарм чем-то рутинным, обычным, как чистка зубов или душ. Проходите инсты и рейды только в хорошем расположении духа и без фанатизма, и желанный маунт обязательно оценит ваши старания и осчастливит вас так же, как и меня.

Говорят, сила вовхеда помогает... Рарити рисует 220 трай, а установлен он был после долгих походов ранее. Дракона так и нет. Скрины и комменты помогают верить, что он действительно существует :(
Тут многие пишут, что упал с первого раза, пятого, двадцатого. Интересно, а какое было самое большое количество траев?

Фармил мейном и несколькими альтами. Точное число проносов не вел, но по ощущениям - меньше 100(суммарно, на всех фармерах), хоть и не на много, примерно 85-95. Дропнулся в нормале. Удачи всем-всем!

P.S. Прикольно, но с какого-то патча(не заметил точно) гер-Ката-инсты стали заметно ПРОЩЕ их же нормал-вариантов. Ессесно 110-му пофиг и на то, и на это - но разница ощущается вполне отчетливо.

Дракон выпал в обычном режиме сложности с 153 попытки. Фармил 3 дня нонстопом. Просто тупо выключил голову и фармил инст на автомате, когда дракон упал чуть сердце не остановилось. Рекомендую вам не задумываться о количестве ваших ранов, всем желаю удачи!

Надежда на получение этого маунта сдохла, после 100 трая. Маунт падает как в героике, так и в нормале. Ходила сначала в героик ,потом обновляла подземелье и в нормал. Ходила 5 персами и вот на 140 попытке он мне выпал! Красивый, редкий.

Вчера поводья выбил из рода бесконечности дракона, сегодня камнешкура, тоже во временных подземельях катаклизма. Боссов 10 на это в общей сложности ушло. Красивый чертяка!

Привет всем из 2020! Давно почитывала комменты всех тех бедняг, кто мечтает о каком-то редчайшем луте и идет к своей мечте, а теперь пришел и мой черед рассказать свою историю.

Всё началось с того, что я захотела песчаникового дракона (то есть скрафтить фиал песков). Так захотела, что неделю с алхимии и раскопок не вылазила, фармила едва ли не 24 часа в сутки (благо, работа особо не мешала, она на дому, ха!). Потом был небольшой перерыв, вообще не заходила, а каждое упоминание об Ульдуме отзывалось рвотными позывами.

Спустя неделю история повторилась, я залипла в раскопки еще часов на 80 подряд. Конечно же, мне не выпал рецепт, зато выпал Киражский танк (даром мне тогда не нужный) и Ископаемый ящер. Сейчас благодарю судьбу за то, что миллиарды часов фарма не ушли в молоко.

С того времени прошло около двух месяцев. Фармила запойно по неделе-две, забивала на пару дней и опять. И буквально вчера решила: в жопу этот рецепт, лучше накоплю и просто куплю уже этот фиал.

Чтобы отвлечься, думала, надо начать фармить что-то другое и в подземельях. Но не своим медленным танком-дк, а кем-то мобильным. За неделю почти беспрерывной игры прокачала до 120 ханта эльфийку бездны специально для этого дела – очень удобно, между прочим. Она быстрая и может притворяться мертвой когда нужно, чтобы не выискивать всех врагов подземелья. Так как давно хотела Камнешкурого (но не верила, что у меня вообще есть шансы!), выбор пал именно на него. Приготовила тетрадный лист, чтобы закрашивать клеточку после каждого убийства Камнешкура.

И знаете, что? Вчера сходила в обычку десяток раз, расстроилась, когда мне сказали, мол, иди нахер отсюда, больше 10 нельзя. Сегодня (29.05.20) утром убила Камнешкура трижды, потом отвлеклась на домашние дела и вернулась к игре ближе к вечеру. Спустя, опять же, три трая, испытала самый настоящий а#хуй. Это была обычная попытка, ничего особенного я не делала, просто убила Камнешкура как всегда. В луте поводья. 16 попыток? Серьезно? Это награда за фарм каноп и рецепта, что ли?

Если честно, чувствую себя настоящей сволочью, ведь кому-то и с тысячной попытки не падает. Это, конечно, не первый трай, да и раньше прохождений 20 этого подземелья было. И всё же. Не сто и не тысяча.

Странно получилось – неделю качаться ради фарма, а выфармить за час.

Вот и мои пять копеек, короче говоря. Желаю всем нереального количества удачи выбить Камнешкурого если не быстрее, чем я, то хотя бы так же быстро!

Только что выпал, с первого раза. На прошлой недели с первого раза выпал Дракон южного ветра. Но при этом задолбался долбить Ша Злости, там самый клевый для меня маунт. Не знаю, везунчик или нет. Минорыч-Свежеватель Душ.

270 траев, Карл! Я уже с ума сходил от монотонного прохождения инста и в итоге сегодня мне выпал маунт в 20.50 по Мск, сервер Галакронд. Выпал в обычной сложности. Чтобы было легче фармить, врубайте на фон свою любимую музыку и не думайте о том, что именно сейчас он выпадет. Просто бегайте на расслабоне и обязательно получите заветного дракона.)

I love the concept, a mount which actually carries you in it's clutches.I only wish they would change to appear like it really does carry you in it's grasp.Currently it looks like your ridding on air near/in its hands.Again it's a great concept and hopefully when the team does get some time they can revisit this and make a quick change to this.

Been running stonecore a lot, heard a lot of odd theories on how it drops. It's just an ordinary rare drop. There's no trick to it at all.

Except maybe prayer or sacrificing animals to the loot gods.

Finally got this mount after 32 SOLO runs as a BM/Surv hunter on normal. I've also written a little Hunters guide below ^_^

There are a total of 3 groups you MUST kill and each group has a total of 4 mobs, which the exception of Millhouse, the little gnome guy being in the first group and each group consists of Stonecore War-bringers, Berserkers, and Earthshapers.

Go Survival so you have more CC & start with the 2nd to last group and work your way to the first.

Always CC the Berserkers first and save them for last as they have a nasty AoE bleed effect which can take out a nice chunk of health if your not careful. Use Tranquilizing shot when Warbringers enrage and always kill the Earthshapers first as they are the easiest and don't forgot to scatter shot when they use Dust storm.
(Note: After you take one out, it is best if you dismiss your pet & FD so you can kill the next mob w/ full health)

When you finally get rid of the 2 groups then its time to take out Millhouse! All you have to do is to CC two of the mobs and just burn him down. After he runs away just sacrifice/dismiss your pet and FD.

Once the first boss shows up put on your Camo and Cheetah and just run past the tunnel. As for the Boss just keep up Mend Pet and use cower & shell shield if you feel the need too and most importantly be careful of LoS during the 2nd phase.

Good luck everyone! I did this w/ an iLevel of 338 if that helps lol.

Finally dropped on my 40th attempts on regular Stonecore. I solo this instance on my Prot paladin with mostly heroic tank gears and few purple rep gears. There are 3 set of trash at the beginning of the instance; as Prot paladin I just go in tank and spank and use Word of Glory whenever I have 3 holy powers.

Also, all the trash pulls after the first boss can be avoid therefore don't waste time trying to solo the big elemental down because their adds and quake hit very hard.

Few things I recommend for Paladin when fighting Slabhide.

- Use Seal of Insight
- Save holy power for Word of Glory
- Devotion Aura is your best friend
- Use Flash of Light when Slabhide is in the air

Confirming this is solo-able by an affliction warlock. Used a succubus and fear/coex to control the mob packs. No need to run out of instance picking one off at a time. With good control you can manage the full groups.. even though it does get dicey sometimes. For the last group with Millhouse, drop an infernal. You only need to get him to half health before he runs to spawn the first boss. Exit instance then re-enter.

Run down to Corborus, and head down the cavern. Watch the crystal giant that is patrolling up and down.. follow down as far as he will go then pop an invisibility potion (they're 1g on my server). That will get you to Slaghide.

Slaghide is an easy fight... in theory. Just make sure to keep your Voidwalker topped, use Demon Soul on CD and Soulshatter as normal. The tough part is finding your Voidwalker getting stuck in the one of the falling rocks. Whether it falls on him, or he gets pushed back into one by Slaghide, 2/3 of the time my VW will get permanently stuck in one of those, completely line of sight and unable to recall or move no matter what you do. He dies soon after without the health funnel and so do I. I don't know if hunters have been experiencing the same issue with they're pets, but it's quite frustrating to deal with.

So go in planning on spending some time on this... and some gold for the repair bill.

Hoping they add sounds to this mount soon (don't mind the near silent flight compared to the other drakes, but kind of a bummer that using /mountspecial does the animation, but no roar). There is also still somewhat of visual glitch when riding it, you sit inside the saddle rather then on it (granted, i like this much more then the oddness of the original mounting visual, but still).

And how many can you do a day? Is there a maximum?

I got a tankadin on one account and a healadin on my wife's account.
Thinking about combining their strengths, should be easy runs, i hope...

Confirmed to still drop in normal, whether it's a mistake or not, nobody knows. Me (Prot paladin) and my cousin (destro warlock) 2 manned it for a few hours before it dropped, and I won the roll. Nice looking mount. With a tank and dps we were going at about 10-14 minutes per run with the use of potion of invisibility to skip the trash after the first boss (although we never killed the first boss, you can just run right past him) so for a Slabhide kill the only trash you need to kill is the first 3 pulls with the gnome mage guy.

For any ferals out there soloing for this on regular:

In the initial pulls you can kill Milhouse to send him to the next group and then reset the groups by shadowmelding or running out of the instance. This isn't necessary if you're confident in your gear, but anything to make the experience easier, ya know? You do have to kill the first 2 packs at least, however, otherwise he will keep running back to the 2nd group if you kill him at the 3rd group without clearing. EDIT FOR CLARITY: Only the 2nd set of mobs needs to be dead for Milhouse to run to his proper position after being defeated at the 3rd set of mobs. However, the 2nd pack of mobs will aggro the first set if the first isn't cleared.

There are two strategies I used for clearing the trash:

The fast way: charge in and rotate survival cds while using berserk. I was able to do this and end the pulls with ~30% health without using Frenzied Regen (I was in my normal tank spec/glyphs so it wouldn't have done much anyway). However, I'm fully raid geared with a smattering of heroic raid loot, so this strategy is not for everyone. You could also pull with a root on a Berserker since Berserk caps at 3 targets, but I didn't bother.

The slow way: This route definitely benefits from using the trick I mentioned earlier to get Milhouse out of the group so there's one less thing to worry about. Before you pull use Nature's Grasp to get it on CD and start by rooting a Berserker. I liked to keep this Berserker as my focus so I could watch my roots and reapply when necessary. Your primary target (assuming Milhouse is gone) should be the Earthshaper as it is the only caster. Make sure your Nature's Grasp roots melee away from the Earthshaper so you don't keep getting hit while they're rooted. Go cat form and burn the Earthshaper down asap, it shouldn't be too hard to get him down in time to reapply your roots before your Nature's Graps break. Go bear as you should now have 2 melee on you and 1 rooted. If you need to re-root (you probably will) start by cycloning one of the others to cut down on extra damage while in caster form. Don't worry about your health too much because once you are down to 2 targets you can cyclone 1 while keeping the 2nd rooted and heal to your heart's content. Using this strategy I was able to clear each pack without using CDs and never dipping below ~60% health.

The first boss and the trash after him are completely skippable.

Slabhide himself is actually remarkably easy. If you can survive an entire ground phase, you can solo him. Just play how you normally would as bear. Pop Berserk on CD so it goes faster, just make sure you get the full duration before an air phase. I'd also recommend staying on the move while he's grounded just because the fire pools will almost constantly be spawning under you.

During Air phase immediately get some heals running on yourself. I use LBx3, Regrowth, HTx2 before he lands. My spec has 1/2 Nurturing Instinct and I was able to heal around 1/2 my HP each air phase with this. 2/2 Nurturing Instinct would probably be a good idea at lower gear levels. Also, if you still feel you're falling behind on healing if you apply your initial stacks of LB while running away from the center you can gain yourself time for a refresh on your LB after the 2nd HT as he runs to you. I do NOT recommend using Tranquility. It's a pretty good heal, but it's very easy to get RNG'd by having a rock start to fall on you and tranq doesn't really get effective unless you can channel it long enough to get all 3 stacks.

Not sure if it's been mentioned or not, but also easily to solo on a blood DK wearing nothing but heroic blues and crafted/rep epics. The only time I had any issues was on the first three groups of mobs. Having no cc or stuns made it a bit rough with the first three pulls, and I tend to die shortly after killing the first add. But after the first one is down, I'm able to take out the rest without issue.

The boss is easy. Just keep Blood Shield up and you should have no issues (assuming you stack mastery like most Blood DKs).

Just an FYI to everyone. You can't skip/reset trash after milhouse. Otherwise next group the previous group/groups come at you, if you can get milhouse to 50% and able to reset before those groups kill you, then your good. Usually tho he stuns me and the previous group reaches me.

DK solo's this and VP every day at least once per day. Sigh, GL all.

Got mine today, 70th run solo. Protection Paladin glyphed Lay on Hands, Word of Glory, Seal of Insight, Dazing Shield, 2/2 Guarded by the Light too. Used Seal of Insight/BOK for trash and Seal of Insight/BOM for slabhide, 8-10 mins per kill. Nuked 1st 5 trash Earthshaper-Millhouse-Rest, then skipped 2nd pack nuked 3rd pack Earthshaper 1st-Rest, back to 2nd pack Millhouse-Ran out. Skipped 1st boss, Invis pot past trash to Slabhide. When he lands stay back 15 yards no breath use Word of Glory every 2-3 Holy Powers, rotate the 3 def cooldowns when needed, Lay on Hands if needed(not usually) and Holy Radiance if required during wings, 1st 10-20 runs I used bandage during air phase, works great but after more practice rarely needed them, easy kill.
Gear was crafted belt/shield, Rep wrists/feet/cloak and rest 346 hc greens, around 155k health, trash is harder than Slabhide, get that down and you got an easy ride, just make sure you do it before the upcoming Word of Glory nerf ;-)

As a feral I've been doing it like this:

Full tank spec and tank gear.

Trash pack 1 + 2: Use your defensive cooldowns + berserk off the bat. Focus the earthshaper for interrupts and nuke Milhouse down. Afterwards I go Earthshaper > Warbringers > rest. Reason I do that is because you can backpedal and constantly attack the warbringers where the other ones will stop all the time to whirlwind so you take a lot less damage.

If you get in trouble use Natures Grasp and step out to heal a litt.e

Trash Pack 3: I simply do the same but once Milhouse is dead follow him a litte, Shadowmeld to reset the pack and carry on. From here you can stealth straight to Slabhide.

Boss:
Tank her in Bear over on top of the teleporter. You'll need to move every few seconds but I just usually circle her. Don't use CDs at the start as she flies straight up so just give yourself a LB+Rejuv and wait. After this you should spread out your Survival cooldowns each ground phase. You should be able to use Barkskin on every one and spread SI and FrR out on alternating ones. Everytime she turns to go up, go caster and start healing. I use Rejuv, 3xlb, regrowth, nourish, rejuv (she usually has landed and cast a lava here) and one more LB to extend stack then bear just as she gets to me.

Not much to it other than that. The fight takes me about 8 minutes.

During my first couple solo attempts as a BM hunter, my pet would get stuck in the rock and it really aggravated me. So, I found a way to avoid this from happening.
When Slabhide goes in the air for his airphase, put your pet on passive and he will run back to you and its just up to you to avoid getting hit by the fallen rocks. Once he has about a second left in his airphase, just put your pet back on defensive and he will rush back at Slabhide without being stuck. =)

Able to solo him as a feral druid in full tank gear with this spec. It's a standard tank spec. I'm in about 365 iLvl gear. If you're in much less I'd recommend grabbing Nurturing Instinct as you'll be healing a lot during air phases. Pull him near the walls so you get more time with him running back and forth as you can, pop enrage and berserk as often as you can, and just DPS him down in bear form. I want to see if I can use NI and only pop LBx3 and go into cat form for the air phases and put Rake + Rip up and see how much faster he dies or if I die. With the extra + healing and healing taken from the HoTs in cat form, I think I could forgo at least the HT's I had to throw otherwise.

Definitely still drops in normal mode. Been solo farming on my marks hunter for 2 days on and off and it dropped on run #31. Takes anywhere between 10-15 minutes per run, the only minor setback being that the stones that drop in 2nd phase of Slabhide can land on your pet and bug it out and you will be unable to heal it because of line of sight issues. If that happens, do your best to distracting shot and kite the boss until the stones disappear and you'll be able to heal it again. Good luck to all that are farming, it's very much worth it!

SOLOING STONECORE TIP (for SV Hunters)

Supplies needed:
1) Preferrably SV spec, but this is doable with any spec
2) Tenacity pet, spec him into mitigation/threat/resist etc... basically,make him nice and durable
3) Don't suck

There are several excellent tutorials on soloing Stonecore (for the drake needless to say). Although they present effective ways of CC'ing, I found that method to be too high-maintenance..and always looking for the easy way out, found...an easy way through this without the trouble.

Basically, you can avoid CC altogether. Just burn down main targets. The order of priority is (from top to bottom)

a) Earthbringers (they burn down fast but cause the most damage)
b) Berzerkers (take the longest to kill, cause relative damage, have an annoying charge move)
c) Warbringers (go down easy, don't do a hella damage, not very smart)

CC is only used as a safety net with this method - keep note of that

3RD MOB

- Hunters Mark main target (in this case, the earthbringer
- throw a heal on your pet, get those ticks going
- MD your pet (remember, tenacity)
- Send pet in, HOWEVER, Multi-shot the group BEFORE he makes it there. If you wait until he engages his target there is the risk that some mobs will come after you regardless.
- Keep heals up at all times on your pet
**If a mob breaks loose and comes after you - simply drop a trap at your feet and keep dps'sing
- keep heals up at all times on your pet
- Once earthbringer drops, focus your attention on the berzerker, rinse and repeat
**as mobs dwindle, your pets health will naturally drop slower, making your job easier

HEAD BACK UP TO 1ST MOB (To get Milhouse running)

- Same idea, however, make your pull by the entrance to the instance...should anything go wrong, RUN
- Hunters mark Milhouse
-Throw heal on pet
-throw MD on pet
-send pet in, Multi-shot BEFORE pet reaches Milhouse
-burn burn burn, until Milhouse yells his thang
- IN this case, you can actually zone out to spare both yours and your pets life..otherwise just feign death and let ur pet die

2ND MOB

- Don't pull from the north side, pull from the south. When you engage the mob, grp 1 (the ones you didn't kill), will head down to join the fight. Pulling from the south side will prevent mobs from aggroing you first (or at least will give you those extra seconds to burn milhouse
- MD pet, Heal pet, Send pet in, Multi-shot mob, focus DPS on Milhouse until he runs to boss position

Camouflage and make it past mobs to boss (note that you can easily squeeze between the rock elemental guys and the narrow corridor wall...worst case scenario, feign if they aggro

BOSS FIGHT

From that point on you should know your way through soloing the boss for your vitreous drake. Keep heals on pet at all times - be careful not to LOS your pet with the stalagmites, MD your pet when boss goes airborne. During air phase, watch to make sure a shadow doesn't form over your pet...if it does, call him back to you., otherwise he might get stuck inside stalagmite and won't be healable. Rinse n repeat...

Do that 850,000 times and you'll get your drake!

143 runs so far on my DK and still nothing.
I've found out that the group of 3 flayers inbetween the first and second giants is not 100% avoidable if you don't have camo, I usually aggro them 1-2 times every 10 runs or so. If you did aggro them, I found it best to fall back a bit and pull them into left cave, there is a sweet spot where u can fight them without aggroing the second giant.

And in the case that you did aggro the giant, remember that you can avoid the earthquake by jumping up and avoid the 15sec 50% dmg taken debuff by killing the shard before it explodes.

Edit: 300 runs now and still no sign of it. 89% chance it should have dropped by now. Come on!
Edit 2: Ok, finally got it on my 319th run. That put me on the 10% odd of not getting it within my 318 runs... I hate RNG. (And I've got over 20 Skin of Stone during the runs)

After getting it for my DK I proceeded to try it with my tankadin with ilvl 361 in survival gear (stacking mastery). I can confirm it is still doable after the WoG nerf.

For the first group I have the earthshaper on focus and interrupt his transformation spells while I burn down the gnome (with GotAK, for course). After that I either burn layhand and finish the rest of the group or bubble up and run out of the instance. Fights without the gnome are fairly easy so I usually save up GotAK. I'll then sneak past the 2nd group and take down the 3rd group, hen head back and burn down the gnome in the 2nd group (I usually don't have much problem with this group and can take them out without LoH, though all you have to do is to burn down the gnome before you die anyway).

For boss fight I can just bandage up during air phase, usually I can get by bandaging only every other air phase and never have to burn LoH on it.

A single run takes about 20min and the boss fight alone takes around 8min. I'm running with SoInsight, BoM and resistance aura the whole time with the kings drum and the 90str food.

Awesome feedback, and there were a few very useful tips as well. I JUST figured out the 5 yrd range fact with the Berzerkers (which is a relief - because that's the most annoying part of the instance). I also didn't know that you could tranq the enrages - but with decent Zandalar gear, keeping heals up usually takes care of that (I also spec into imp pet heals, and glyph for MD for no CD on MD's on ur pet - very handy when your trap is on CD and you have mobs chasing you - MD pet/disengage/multishot).

A little note regarding dropping a trap before the pull - I personally prefer reserving it for an emergency attack, because depending on the pull, there is a chance that the earthbringer can come after you as well. Charges don't cause significant damage, they hit you, cancel your attack, then head back to the pack. However, if a mob breaks away and starts attacking me (not including the whirlwind, because he isn't actually aggroed to you - in that case just avoid the WW and he'll eventually run back to the pack), THEN I drop the trap, because otherwise I know I'll have mobs chasing after me, which is ultimately what I want to avoid.

But much appreciated...your tips are very worthwhile!

After doing this myself i disagree with the tactics in this thread:

What not to do:

1) Don't go survival the cc is inappropriate because you need you pet to drop out some aoe treat that usually brakes the cc's.
2) Your pet is too weak in survival it will die to fast to zerg the trash down in time (for most ppl)

Pre Fight Prep:

1) Get yourself a turtle pet (if you can go get 'Terrorpene')
2) Go Beast Mastery and buff the crap out of your pet
3) Make sure you have taunt and thunderstomp ON

Trash:

1) Freezing trap at your feet
2) The adds have been given ridiculous aggro tables, makes sure you open with your pet and let him get a few attacks in and 1 thundershock before you attack. Make sure to use abilities such as 'Beastial Wrath' and your 4 second stun, Mend pet!
3) Zerg Millhouse, Feint
4) Zerg Earthshaper, Feint
5) Kill all of pack 1 and 2
6) Pack 3 you only need to kill Millhouse, Feight, Camo, Run to 2nd boss (in camo)

The Boss:

1) Make sure to keep 'Mend pet' up (the stone fragments will break LOS)

Its very simple as Marksmanship Hunter with Turtle:

THIS TACTIC ONLY REQUIRES YOU TO KILL ONE PACK WITH 4 MOBS = Very easy !

1) Go inside MD to pet, cast aimed shot on Millhouse and instanly cast multi shot right after. That way all the mobs go on your turtle. Just nuke Millhouse until he reach 50% = he starts yelling, then run out of the instance to reset the group (easiest way since you are right inside).

2) Go in again and use camouflage to get to the 3rd and last pack (Skip the one with Millhouse). Put down a trap right infront of you, cast MD on pet and once again aimed shot, but this time on the Stonecore Earthshaper, and emediately after use multishot to make the rest of the mobs go on pet. The Berserkers randomly charge, but since you put down a trap right infront of you. The berserkers will get trapped (sometimes there is 2 x Berserker, then you just have to eat some random charges). But with one of them trapped its very easy to deal with the remaining mobs.

3) When the pack is cleared go back towards the middle pack, it will have Millhouse in it. Once again put down a trap (not really needed) to help with the incomming dps preasure. MD to turtle and aimed shot on Millhouse and multishot on the rest. Now just nuke Millhouse down to 50%, when he starts yelling + run away, you emediately dismiss your Pet and FD. This will make the pack reset. Now just pop Camouflage and run to Slabhide (yes the first boss will come in when you get near the cave-hole in the wall)

4) Kill Slabhide, if you can't do this as MM with a bit of Mend Pet and fire dodgeing. Then don't even bother playing WoW and reroll Hello Kitty Online immediately !

Solo'd as a feral tank (Shiraiyuki - Illidan US)

The Gear:
You will need 2 trinkets to do this effectively and of course some decent gear too. My Ilvl at the time was 368. I have a few FL drops but mainly rep gear/359 gear

The trash:
I used my regular feral tanking gear and beasted the pulls up to the first boss. You can skip the first boss and stealth through all the rest of the trash. but be careful since right before the falling rocks gauntlet, it puts you in combat and pulls you out of stealth, make sure the patrolling giant isn't at the end of his patrol since he will agro.

The fight:
It is pretty straight forward, dont stand in lava... don't try to pull some extra dps as cat (its not worth the risk). i like to combine my cooldowns. I use barkskin with Mirror of Broken Images becuase i basically take 0 damage from the breath. remember to keep demo roar up so you take minimal physical damage. you will want to tank him at the very edge of the room and as soon as he starts to walk towards the middle to fly up, pop out and start healing yourself. you should have enough time to get 3x LB 1x rejuvie 1x regrowth and 1x healing touch. When you go low hp, pop frenzied regen the next time he comes down. try to pop enrage at the sametime so you won't rage starve yourself and waste your frenzied regen. appart from that, you just do what you would normally do.

Ok so heres a trick i learned, bring millhouse down in first mib, let him run to second...kill all first mob. then go to third mob, kill third mob, run back up to secong mob and bring millhouse down.he will run pas third mob since they are all dead. this kets u kill 2 of the mobs out of 3 and lets u bring down millhouse 2 times instead of 3 :) trust me it works

Soloed as a demonology warlock, here's how i did it

Kill the trash before the first boss, I just went all out Meta>Demon soul>Moonwell chalice>Felstorm>Immo aura>Shadowflame and nuked..

Skip the first boss, Kill the first giant, skip the rest of the mobs(You can walk to the right of the flayer group next to the 2 giants) thus you can skip all the mobs there if you wait for the giant to pass by after you've passed the flayer group.

Here's the bossfight:
1: Make yourself a SS and HS, you never know when you might need the extra hp.
2: Put a portal behind the rock wall that falls down when you start the fight, Good if you want to reset
3: Use curse of weakness+Health funnel to keep your void topped, Demonic empowerement if he get's too low
4: I popped cds right at the start and went full nuke, with demon soul my void got lots of threat from this.
5: Make sure you put your pet on passive when the airphase starts, my pet got stuck in a falling rock when the boss was at 20% hp so I had to reset, Also if your pet is not topped, Do that during the airphase.
7: Also use bandages/drain life during the airphases, Helped tremendously.
6: I kept dots up at boss at all times. Immolate,Curse of doom and corruption, Hand of gul'dan if I had enough time and void enough health to cast it
7: Boss dead, loot him and if you get the mount, gz to you my friend!

on the link i will post belov u can see easy and fast tactic with hunter... i can confrim that it works since i did it with my pvp mm speced be hunter with ruthless set. mount didnt drop yet tho but still here is tactic how to do it easy and fast. video is 5 min long and you can do it in arround 15 min. all you need is tank (turtle in this video and in my tries)

Shadowpriest Soloing Tips

I was able to solo this today 4 times as a Shadowpriest. My ilevel is about ~385, but it should be doable at lower. If not, once you get the 378s from 4.3's Dungeons it should be no problem. On Normal, of course.

The basic strategy is flash heal a lot. The fight takes me about 2.5 minutes now. Having a mod that shows his air phase and landing times helps plan your spells out better.

Start off immediately with a normal 3 dot mind blast rotation, after that is done he'll go up in the air. If you pre-shield yourself you will still probably be 100% health. Make sure to use Inner Fire.

After he comes down the first time, I immediately use my shadowfiend + fade and dps as much as I can at this point. Put shield up and when fade breaks do as much damage as you can before you start taking damage. At that point, I basically just flash healed myself non stop till he went up in the air again. Save your instant casts PW:S and Prayer of Mending for when you need to move out of the fire (which feels almost non stop) and just keep chain gunning the Flash Heals.

When he takes off again, put full dots on him again and dps as much as possible.

Basically repeat this until he's dead. You can usually use Shadowfiend + fade once more to buy some DPS time, and dispersion and archangel and you should have enough mana.

Takes me about 10-15 minutes to clear trash and Slabhide.

Good luck on the drop.

Quick tip for the trash, burn down millhouse first. Don't bother with Mind Control as I find its pretty ineffective here, though it can be alright but itll usually break early because of charge and being hit by Millhouse. Remember you can kite a lot, most of the mobs stop to cast stuff. Also zone out if you need.

am summing up EVERYTHING i know about this mount, and my experiance
It Drops from a boss named slabhide in Stonecore, Normal and Heroic. I have seen it drop on normal twice (first time, i rolled 10, top roll was 97, Second time, i rolled 68, top roll was 75), never heroic (probably cuz i farm normal stonecore)

If your in a group with 5 People, seeing the mount drop is 1%, so actually obtaining the mount is 0.2% So This is the Percentage of obtaining the mount
50 kills - 9.5% 1 in 10 people will get this mount after 50 kills
100 kills - 18.1% 1 in 5 people will get this mount after 100 kills
250 kills - 39.4% 2 in 5 people will get this mount after 250 kills
500 kills - 63.2% 3 in 5 people will get this mount after 500 kills
750 kills - 79.8% 4 in 5 people will get this mount after 750 kills
1250 kills - 91.8% 9 in 10 people will get this mount after 1250 kills
2000 kills - 98.2% 49 in 50 people will get this mount after 2000 kills
3450 kills - 99.9% 999 in 1000 People will get this mount after 3450 Kills
This means that after killing Slabhide after 3450, there is a 1 in 1000 chance you will not get this mount
If you want the percentage of it DROPPING , then divide the kills by 5, So after 10 Kills, there is a 9.5% of it droping

For the people who are confused saying "no, if you kill it 10000 times its only 1% of it dropping" Think about this, i flip a coin 10000 Times, after the 10000th time, is it a 50% chance that a Heads will be seen once, or almost Completely certain that you would see it at least once.

I Can solo this boss as a demon warlock, (by killing millhouse first trash, running out, back in and go to third trash, kill all them using infernal, howl of terror and fear, should kill all 3rd trash, Then going to second trash and nuking millhouse, die, rez and skip all mobs in second room, fighting slabhide is easy, just send voidwalker in, demon soul and searing pain until demon soul is done, then health funnel and kill (DO NOT NUKE, Try not to gain aggro, if you do, your dead), will take 9/10 minutes) All together it takes me 25 minutes

it takes too long is the problem, thats why i dont solo it, while if i do it in a group i can get to slabhide in 5 mins.

This mount is my second faviourite mount, many ppl will disagree with me, But i just Love it. (first favorite is Ashes Of Al'ar). For some ppl it might be better for them to solo, cuz iv lost this mount twice and i have felt REALLY gutted about it. and i cant buy the mount of them since when a guy from a different realm wins something, u cant trade of him. the worst part is both guys who won it didnt even have 280% Flying :(

So am saying, Solo it if u have more patients then me. getting a friend along makes it twice as fast, getting ppl from ur realm makes it better so when it does drop and u lose, you can buy it off him.

I actually found this fight incredibly easy as feral tank. I use mostly feral dps gear with only a couple pvp items that I gemed/ench/reforged for tank. 4510 agl, 7921 stam, 16.77 mast, 46315 armor, 33.12% dodge.150k hp (only buff I use is MotW) and my ilevel is about 365 (pvp gear ftw?).

The key is effective mitigation of damage and having the right talents/glyphs (I used a custom solo spec) http://www.wowhead.com/talent#0ZfMGbourzMckMcuo:0mVwzVMzm.

Fight takes about 6 1/2 minutes with a 15 min for full clear (I take my time for the sake of ease and not wiping). The trash is far harder than the boss, but using berserk on packs 1 and 3 then burning down millhouse in group 2 with a shadowmeld "vanish" makes the trash relatively easy. The best thing to do is try to get in as many mauls/mangles off as possible for the shield and to have the proper healing rotation during the air phase.

Air phase healing rotation: Regrowt -> Rejuv -> Lifebloom -> Lifebloom -> Lifebloom -> Lifebloom -> Rejuv/Regrowth (can throw in thorns if you have distance too) -> bear form. With the glyphs and talents this is extremely effective at healing. It is also helpful to outrange the first "fire breath" he does the moment he lands and to use barkskin/SI at alternating cooldowns 3 seconds later (he uses the breath almost approx every 12 seconds).

A weapon with mending increased my healing by about 10%, but I now use my agility weap (I am too lazy to put mending on my good wep... and too cheap) for the sake of speed. Another good idea (what I don't have the spell power weapon to do) is to have a macro to equip a SP wep when you use regrowth and a macro to put your phys dps weapon on when you go bear form to maximize healing. This is sometimes slow (pvpers will know what I am talking about) but it could potentially increase healing massively.

If done properly and with decent RNG you should never need to use frenzied regen. This should be able to be done by a feral with an ilevel as low a 355 (prob 350 with mending on the wep) though the trash would be utter hell.

All in all, extremely easy for feral. My second kill I decided to make a video of it and upload it to show to friends, link is below.

A Guide for Blood DK's to get this mount:

I'm an ilvl 379 Blood DK and I just received this mount on my second solo run. Here's how.

On the first trash pull; I always death gripped Millhouse to me, don't worry about the earthshapers transforming, they go down pretty smoothly. You'll want to use your Magic shell as much as possible during thes first few trash pulls to negate some of the damage from the transformed earthshaper and Millhouse himself. You can then kill the trash in one of two orders. Millhouse > Berserkers > Earthshapers > and whatever the Tauren are. -or-Berserkers > Earthshapers> Millhouse > Tauren guys. Berserkers will be your main form of damage income as they hurt really bad and often come in a pair with Millhouse. Pop defensive cooldowns and death strike your current target whenever you see them whirl because if you get two of them whirlwinding at the same time you can take a lot of damage, you can also move out of the whirlwind as well. As soon as you get to the final trash pull; kill it and continue towards Millhouse, stop right as the stone worm pops out.

DO NOT ENGAGE IT! There is no need to kill the first boss to proceed.

So simply run against the wall to the tunnel and continue. Sometimes in the dungeon there will be little groups of spider adds. To avoid them pull the first rock giant near the entrance of the tunnel. When he throws out the little stone add, heartstrike it without switching targets and it should just take one heartstrike for it to die, if not two. When the giant casts quake; jump at 85% into the cast to avoid taking extra damage. And as usual, death strike for your absorb shield. You don't need to pull the flayers unless you aggro them, see where the second stone giant is down the hall to Slabhide. If it's a distance towards the entry to Slabhides cave; simply hug the wall away from the 3 flayers and run towards it. Fight it at the entrance to the tunnel of Slabhides cave to avoid little spider adds.
(All in all if spider adds aggro they should go down pretty quickly with a DnD. And if you're not confident avoiding those three flayers you may choose to pull them back up the ramp in the small cave.)

Now onto the boss fight! Avoid the falling pillars as you run down the ramp. And then buff up, eat food, cast bone shield and horn of winter then start the fight by casting your outbreak and pulling him to the middle of the room. (This is to avoid him running off during the fight to fly up). As usual build up a bubble with death strike, always use Magic Shell whenever it's off cooldown as this will minimize his breath attack damage. When you see a patch of earth rumble under your feet you have a few seconds before that becomes a lava pool. When you see it you'll want to move him around in a circle while you are standing and attacking just within his hit box. This way, as you move, by the time you come back to the first patch it'll be long gone. Ever so often Slabhide will fly into the air, but will still be reachable by attacks but stalagmite will drop down all around you. Simply stand right underneath him when this phase comes up and DPS him while avoiding any nearby stalagmite patches. Also to utilize your runic power use Rune Strike; never use Death Coil as it does very weak damage compared to Rune Strike.

TL;DR:
-If low on health and your vampiric blood and/or rune tap are on cooldown; summon a minion and death pact it.
-Utilize Runic Power by doing Rune Strike.
-Death Strike to keep health up and build reduction bubble.
-Bone shield and Horn of Winter at all times.
-Defensive Cooldowns when low on health and waiting for Rune Tap/Vampiric Blood.
-Always use Magic Shell when it is available (except on Air Phases).
-Stand just outside his hit box to be at max range to turn him and avoid lava pools.
-Fight directly underneath him during Air Phase.

All in all it's a pretty easy fight. Much easier than Vortex Pinnacle. Good luck!

This seems to be completely impossible to solo as an Ele Shaman. I'm at 387 ilevel, and the first trash pack flattens me in only a few seconds. I just cannot keep myself alive.

Enh Shamans may have a bit of a chance, having slightly higher survivability, but as Ele, don't bother trying unless you like repair bills.

Went ahead and tried it with my rogue, it is definitely doable with enough gear.
I was standard combat specced (7/31/3) with the 2 floating points in reinforced leather at 399 ilvl, with most consumable available (flask, scroll of fort, drum, healing pot). I also swapped out Tott glyph for evasion for added survivability.

Opposite to many other specs, the trashes are actually a lot easier for combat rogue, here is the rundown:
1. For the first trash pack, sap one of the berserkers, pop AR and burn Millhouse down and vanish afterward;
2. Sap and blind two of the melees in the third pack, it should be very easy to kill them off separately without burning CDs;
3. Head back to the second pack, wait for your vanish, sap the berserker and burn Millhouse down then vanish, keep in mind that the first pack of trash will also aggro so you'll need to kill Millhouse quickly;
4. The boss fight is actually quite hard, what I did was feint a bit after the first air phase, and keep feint on CD which lines up pretty well with boss's breath attack, pop AR and readiness after the first air phase, then evasion when readiness is down, and of course keep recup up throughout the fight. I can usually kill it right after the 2nd air phase with around 20% health left, dealing 27k dps and taking 3-3.5k dps from the boss out of 90s fights.

#Update: After taking 319 kills before I finally got it on my DK (see my previous comment), this time I got really lucky and got it after merely 23 kills. Hurray!

Went on normal as a feral tank. Killed the trash before the first boss, then skipped the boss himself, no need for stealth. However, I stealthed past the trash before Slabhide and then fought him. Used normal feral tank rotation, no need to heal during air phase, despite only 380 Item level with kitty gemming and enchants. If in need, you can just use Frenzied Regeneration. It took approximately 10 minutes a run, and so after 5 runs I had to wait because I had entered too many instances.
Repeated this, until on my 15th go the mount dropped. I was shocked as the drop chance is around 1%, and my guildies didn't believe me until they saw it! Good luck in getting this lovely mount!

Got this guy after about 15 solo runs as a combat rogue. Took reinforced leather and fleet footed. Had Fort Scroll, Drums of Kings, Agi flask, Agi food.

Trash: Sap the earthshaper. Garrote Millhouse and back away from the shaper. Hit blade flurry and wail on Millhouse til he bails. Take out the orc(stun him if he bladestorms) then the taurens. You can disarm them all and the tauren enrage is shivvable. Skip the middle group and go to the third. Again sap the shaper and repeat the process. Head back to the middle group, sap shaper and punch Millhouse in his face til he again bails. Vanish. Trash done. Remember to pickpockets. =oD

Boss: Distracted him, opened with ambush and immediately popped killing spree, then his recuperate and feint as he'll hit his breath early on. Circled around to avoid the lava. DPS'd and popped slice and dice. Full 5 combo points and popped recuperate. Save evasion and combat readiness for his second ground phase. Used adrenaline rush while he was in the air and got slice and dice and recuperate back up. Once he lands immediately pop evasion and feint and keep circling/backing away between the stones to make him move. Keep it up and he'll eventually drop.

Found it easier not to prepot in the event that he crits off the bat. Usually around 30k. If you get sub 10% and you're a fair bit out from an air phase either use a health pot or vanish. If you wind up in a second air phase use a bandage while recuperate's running. A little practice and luck and you'll be killing him regularly.

I've been soloing Normal Stonecore as a Prot Warrior in T13 for the past few days rather successfully, and thought I'd share my tips/suggestions. If your gear is Dragon Soul capable, you probably won't have any trouble just killing Slabhide traditionally, but if you have lower gear levels or if you don't properly use cooldowns, it can get pretty hairy after fighting him for 3+ minutes.

While glyphing/speccing/using consumables specifically for this fight always helps, the best suggestion I have is to make use of Victory Rush (and perhaps even both glyphs for it if you deem necessary) by pulling other mobs into the encounter with you before you begin. My recommendation is to utilize the Rock Borers that run around with 5k HP in the previous room, as they all proc victory rush and can be killed on command. You could also try the rock elementals from the beginning, but be careful they don't pull extra undesirable mobs (like the giants) if you kite them that far. Lastly, even two or three of the Flayer mobs work fine, just be sure to use whatever extra mobs you bring in properly (i.e., if you have flayers, keep them stunned and move away from their Flay ability to avoid taking excess damage; if you have borers, try not to do any AoE since they have very low HP, and simply kill them as you need throughout the encounter).

While I've only done it as Prot, I imagine the encounter could just as easily be done by Arms/Fury warriors as well, especially when taking advantage of Victory Rush from adds. Best of luck!

Been farming for this mount and ended up with some time on my hands so I decided to put together a little video guide for druids wanting to farm this mount.

Summary;
Sneak past the first 2 packs of mobs, kill the 3rd.
Pull the 2nd pack of mobs, when Millhouse gets close - charge him.
Pop defensive CD's + berserk and nuke him to 50%.
Use Stampeding Roar and bail from the instance.

This takes me about 3 min and this trick lets you skip all the trash up to Slabhide.
Then you just have to nuke him and repeat :> .

1 run takes me on average 7min. Too bad we can only do 5/hour. (If you know of an addon which lets you track your Instaneces/Hour let me know!)
The remaining 20min I sit hoping that Aeonaxx will stop by...

I can confirm this mount still drops on normal mode, got it a few minutes ago after 258 tries so patience is the key in obtaining it!

On my SV specced hunter ilvl391 (mix of LFR and vp vendor gear) I just pulled the first group, nuked Millhouse to 50% then finished off the remaining mobs, stealthed past the second group, killed the third group then pulled the second on my pet, nuked Millhouse to 50%, dismissed pet and feigned. Generous usage of mend pet and misdirect is recommended. I also didn't use any cc since the mobs went down really fast.

The Slabhide fight is simple enough, keep mend pet and misdirect up, be careful your pet doesn't get stuck under a rock, loot and repeat.

Hey guys just wanted to make you all feel a bit jelly but also give some advice as well..

My character is an 85 combat rogue and it took me about a week to get it..According to rarity I have looted the mob (on normal) 4 times which is where I got my mount @ 1.00% of people getting it in 4. All I did was queue up for heroic, run it, queue up for normal, run it. I would leave shortly after slabhide was dead and move on. Simple as that..took about a week and I just got him ^.^ So keep it up!

I run this all day long and I have about 375 kills and still nothing has dropped for me :/ , I run it on a blood DK, my strategy consists of when I start I target Milhouse first and get him to run away then I kill the Earthshapers first then Berserkers because their spinning slash does lots of damage (when they start to spin if you just run away that attack won't hurt you to much) then lastly I kill the Warbringers, if the Unbound Earth Ragers pull and attack I just throw down Death and Decay because their attacks cut down your armor then just repeat for mob he runs to. You can skip all of the mobs except the first 3 and the 2 Crystal Giants down the hall on the way to Slabhide, you should be able to skip the Flayers but if not just run away behind them when they start to do their flay attack and attack their back. I can usually complete each run in like 4 or maybe 5 runs an hour (5 is the most you can do per hour) Good luck to everyone else with the drop God knows it's gonna take FOREVER for it to drop for me lol.

Thanks for the strategy for feral druids.
I ran this today after ulduar 25 (got my ironbound :) ) and was able to successfully solo this dungeon.

So I killed the last boss, kept bear the whole fight and healed occasionally, looted and it seems I am lucky enough for it to drop the first run (obviously I've ran while leveling from 80+) but actually trying for the mount, first run :)

Hey guys, I just got this mount today on (US) Whisperwind. I solo'd Slabhide on my Protection Paladin 25-30 times a few days ago and I got the mount today after my 3rd or 4th run.

I didn't do anything special; My tank gear is only ilvl 365 and I had no real issues clearing the trash. The only advice I can give you when dealing with the first 3 mobs is to nuke the Millhouse guy until he's at 50% health and then DPS the rest of the trash down. After you clear all 3 mobs, skip the snake boss and kill the first big rock guy. After he's dead, hug the walls and kill the other big rock guy and then run to Slabhide. Each run took me about 10-15 minutes.

Don't give up guys! :)

Got this drop today while running as a Feral Druid in 11 runs. The run is really easy and takes about 10 minutes while doing it as a Bear. Just muscled through the first 3 groups of trash, stealthed past the first boss and trash to Slabhide. The key to killing the trash is to nuke Milhouse Manastrom until the Earthshaper transforms, take out the Earthshaper, finish Milhouse, and then rotate Lacerate stacks and Mangle procs amongst the remaining three mobs.

Slabhide is pretty straight forward. Just dodge the lava pools, use Pulverize with three stacked Lacerates before popping Beserk to really spike in damage for awhile. Really easy. Don't even need Frenzied Regeneration for the most part. Item level is 377. Make sure you have some decent trinkets. Something like Veil of Lies really helps.

Good luck to those going for this mount. Definatly worth it.

The drake dropped for me after off and on solo'ing Stonecore as a BM hunter, though I probably only solo'd it maybe 10 times, I was extremely lucky. I made a video awhile back that might be helpful for other hunters looking to solo this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujwnvgeWGkc

Basically, set Millhouse in the 1st group to focus or keep him targetted so when everything gets pulled, you don't lose him. Go to the 3rd group, lay a frost trap to trigger them, run back up to the 1st group and DPS Millhouse down to under 50%. The 3rd group will pull the 2nd group, and the 2nd group pulls the 1st.

As long as all 3 groups are pulled, and Millhouse goes down to 50%, he will jump all the way forward to activate the 1st boss. At this point, just feign death or run out of the instance to reset the trash. You do not need to kill any trash (except I like to kill the little elemental rock guys in between groups).

Then you can camo through everything up to Slabhide, who is an easy kill with a tanking pet.

i got 386 ilvl, BM/MM hunter (was BM at the time) and i thought id give soloing this a go...

the first time doing it killed no prob, no drop tho, then went to reset then died pretty much 10 times for the 2nd and 3rd go, 4th time i changed my pet, from Skoll to Terrorpene

pretty much stayed above 30% of its health with no panic of dying..
then i screamed
so shocked!

I can confirm that burns91's method works easily. As a BM hunter, camo your way down to the third group, set Millhouse as your focus. Launch an ice trap at the 3rd group from as far away as possible, then use Aspect of the Cheetah to skedaddle on up to the gnome and get him down to 50% HP. Quickly get to a safe place away from the trash, deterrence, dismiss pet, and feign death. Then use camouflage all along the path to Slabhide, and it's a breeze from there.

Just dropped for my DK Thallusen after about 20 runs. Very simple for a blood dk in dps gear to solo normal, just clear the first 3 packs skip the first boss then due to the night elf racial could just run through the next room and shadowmeld at the bottom of the gauntlet and was at slabhide again :) for those with a little less love for RNG good luck!

Currently 48 kills on slabhide normal there has not been any drop for me... Yet

Running the instance in about 10 - 13 minutes each as a Retribution paladin.
For all paladins (Retribution as well as Protection) this is with DS Gear without a doubt doable.
The three trash packs before corborus are a pain in the ass at first and takes some getting used to.
For the spec i used I try to maximize the healing i do on myself, concidering slabhide hits around 10-25k )Depending on his critical strikes)
But if you manage kill him in under 2 minutes you are guaranteed to get a kill, if you are fast enough on lay on hands of course.

Have been running Slabhide for more than 3 months now with my rogue friend (dual rogue setup) and so far no luck.
We're at around 200 kills each and still no sight of it.

The trash is easy (we're 400 and 403 ilvl legendary rogues) but the boss is a challenge because we feel like we're fighting the mighty dragon (story)

Hopefully, one day ... it will be mine :)

solo farmed as blood dk on normal.
skipped first boss always
69 kills to get it.
easy quick runs 5/hr (cap)
if u can stealth by class or engineer belt u can skip some more trash just not the milhouse packs as they will all pull if u only try to kill the last pack.
u also need them dead to open the cave wall.

Hello. I don't know if the drop chances are different between normal and heroic. But I do both anyway, if you're doing this heroic as a feral druid. There are a few things you should be aware of.

As you engage the battle, the physical damage dealt by the boss himself isn't very much, clearly depends on your gear myself I have Ilvl 404 (PvE.) But the main thing is his breath that he does. It hits around 30-35k and that's usually quite a lot since he does it often. The way to prevent from getting this breath at you is whenever he flies up in the air, he'll do that ability where spikes fall off the roof.

What you should do is, run away as far as possible and heal up your HP even if you don't heal a lot it will prevent you from dying since the fight will take some time. Stay far away, because when he comes down he'll do the breath and won't be able to reach you with it. And the second time he does the breath is when he shoots out spikes and you're suppose to hide behind one of those pillars/spike. Take a spike far away from the boss and put up a few heals and you'll avoid another breath which means that 60k damage has been avoided. You will still take damage from it at some points when you can't avoid it, and you have to keep moving at all time due to the lava coming from the ground.

Running this as a Feral tank, My gear ilvl is 383 (some LFR gear and some PVP gear). Not too hard to do and takes me about 12 minutes. Trying to get this mount for when MoP comes out, Since mounts will be account wide and it's too hard for me to solo on my main (mount collector) :P

Protection Paladin - soloable

If I did everything right I could clear this in 7-9 minutes, but it usually takes me about 12.

I run with a hit/exp capped tank set around iLevel 397. I used Devotion Aura and Seal of Insight, and hardly have to worry about my health.

I pull the first 3 packs, focusing down Millhouse and then the Earthshaper. Skip the first boss, and then pull the two Crystal Giants. Slabhide doesn't do much damage and I just circle around him avoiding the lava pools until he's dead.

After a few runs I switched to my best tank gear and started pulling the next pack after killing the Earthshaper. By the 3rd pack I had to use a cooldown or two, but it wasn't very difficult. After the 3rd Earthshaper died all the melee mobs were easy to clean up, and they don't do much damage.

...I must be the luckiest guy on Earth... I got it in level 83, while doing a normal run for the quests..
We downed Slabhide, saw the dragon in the loot list, and everybody went like "OMG OMG OMG"
I rolled, /prayed and waited for the winner to be announced. There it stood... "Wolph rolls (can't remember number, too excited) for Reins of the Vitreous Stone Drake.

I heard a sound, as I was playing without music, like a boss, and saw "Wolph recieves loot: Reins of the Vitreous Stone Drake. I wrote /cum, turning down every bid, (did it with some guildies) and did bad dps the rest of the dungeon because I was so happy. I am now using it every time I can, now I only need Raven Lord, so that I have both an awesome ground mount and an awesome flying one (using Black War Bear atm)

All in all, if you ask me, this is the most epic looking dragon in the game, and the feeling of flying in the night sky of Stormwind is just incredible. :) Totally worth farming, for you less lucky people.

With the coming of account wide mounts there's no reason not to farm this with your most solo-capable character. For my money that's a blood DK. I swapped to a blood spec specifically to try this farm, and after a few pulls getting the swing of things I was having an easier (if a bit slower) time than on my better geared hunter (the mount collector). Here's a couple of tips that work for me trying to get through there as quickly as possible:

1) Use your dps gear: I have an ilvl around 380 for both sets, and I don't notice much difference in the damage I take between sets, but I do around 3k more dps wearing my dps set. It speeds things up considerably. Even if you find you need the tanking gear for the big trash pulls, the hallway and Slabhide should be doable with a reasonably set up (ie not questing greens) dps set. I shaved a full minute off my Slabhide kill time just by putting on my dps gear.

2) Let the earthshapers evolve: It goes against everything we learned when running through at level, but after they evolve they die in the span of 2 death strikes, that'll be before, or very shortly after, they start their aoe. The unevolved form takes much longer to die, you take more damage, the group takes longer to kill, the overall run takes longer.

3) The 3 pack of flayers at the end of the hallway can be skipped. Just hug the far wall, it's a narrow window but you can make it.

I'm just going to outline my experiences with the Stonecore as far as soloing normal mode to get this mount goes. For a long time, I soloed Stonecore on one of my DK tanks in order to obtain the mount: Even a dk tank in all HoT tanking gear can easily solo this dungeon on normal, and I was soloing it with my dk when Firelands was the current raid and I had about a 374 ilvl as a tank. As has been stated earlier, do not engage Corborus, as you can just run along the wall and bypass him, saving yourself a lot of time and effort.

Moving on, I've also been able to solo this with my prot warrior as of late, mostly due to using Victory Rush on the Millhouse mobs and through judicious use of healing CD's and having a normal mode Souldrinker to further heal me... that being said, my attempts to solo this dungeon with my warrior in Fury spec wielding Heroic Gurthalak in the MH and Heroic Ataraxis in the OH have been for naught.... sometimes I can clear the trash but usually she ends up dying, and she always ends up dying on Slabhide, although I've gotten him down to about 100k specced like this before dying. However, when I respec her to Single Minded Fury and dual wield normal mode Souldrinkers, she is capable of soloing both the trash mobs and Slabhide, although judicious use of healing cooldowns and keeping a healing pot or two on me for Slabhide is a must. With about 1/2 Heroic dps gear, my fury warrior manages to down Slabhide in about 1min and 15 sec, which is quite a bit more rapid than either of my blood dk's. That being said, there are many attempts on Slabhide where I've had very little life left (and one more thing, my warrior is a Draenei, which means she has the racial self-heal) meaning you'll either have to get very lucky or have a healer if you want to down Slabhide with lesser gear and LFR Souldrinkers. Yes, the normal mode Souldrinkers are that good, outhealing every class and racial ability that a fury warrior has at her disposal to a large degree. With 2 heroic Souldrinkers, it would be even easier, although obviously those are not easily obtained by most. Anyway, best of luck: as stated previously, just about any blood dk with an ilvl of 378 or better can easily solo this, and a prot warrior in the hands of a capable tanker with decent gear can as well, the trash is easy, just be careful on Slabhide, and a fury warrior can with some heroic gear and normal Souldrinkers when specced into SMF, with careful use of CD's. Easy Blood solo. Just do the obvious, keep up Blood Shield, mash Death Strike, Rune Tap if need be. Corborus is skippable. On the run in bit before the boss, don't just sprint through, let some rocks drop or the boss doesn't spawn and you have to run back up. On trash, remember Earthshapers first, but let them change to Elementals, they die waaayyyy quicker. In the words of DBM "Good luck and have fun!"

On Tuesday I got Swift White Hawkstrider on my second run on my Warrior. I got to ride Aeonaxx 3 weeks ago on my Warlock sadly it was a failed attempt (what a rush). Hey there guys just wanted to help out anyone trying to farm this mount. No i will not waste your time by telling you when i got my mount or how long it did since is completely 100% random and unpredictable. As of patch 5.0.4 is very easy for any hunter to farm this without any problems at all. If you're 5/5 raid finder (or above) geared then you're more than geared for this. How am i going to help you? By giving you a quick tip that hopefully everyone appreciates =). First, your pet, since now you can make any pet any of the 3 talents you wish, ex: Ferocity (DPS) Tenacity (TANK) or Cunning (DPS) although you might still want a pet with defensive special abilities in which the turtle from Mount Hyjal is perfect for her Shell Shield ability.

Second, make this macro which will help you and save you alot of time.
(Name for macro: your choice)
#showtooltip Misdirection
/target (your pet's name
/cast Misdirection
/cleartarget (you can leave this one out i think but if not sure do it still.)
/target Slabhide
/use Mend Pet

In that there macro (yes that big, still fully works!) you will do 4 actions at once from just one action. And if you use Glyph of Misdirection which when used on your pet it resets then you will always have it up and avoid aggro on boss, heal the pet and still target Slabhide without ever switching targets.

Now for the fun part, with the macro made ALWAYS keep up DIRE BEAST if you specced into it. Launch traps, and bust open all CDs since with the macro your misdirect is always up. Oh quick tip: TRY AVOIDING LINE OF SIGHT YOUR PET when using the macro, in other words always find a clear path to your pet so its always healed.

currently on 110 runs on my assassination rogue in the last week. taking about 4-5mins per run. ALL of the trash can be skipped as a rogue.

sap one and blind one in the first group (with millhouse) then stealth down and pull the 3rd grp up to the 1st grp - use sprint glyph and try to dodge the wee elementals as they will daze you. blow combat readiness and nuke millhouse. at 50% he will run straight to the bottom and start casting impending doom. then COS and vanish. takes about 20 seconds to do this rather than killing the 3 packs. - this method might work with a hunter as well. camo down pull the 3rd n rocket boosts to the first or something. nuke millhouse, disengage n feign death. even if you die and suceed in nuking millhouse so he runs away the Corpse run is significantly quicker than killing them still.

as for slabhide hes extremely easy. dbm has my fastest kill at 32 seconds in full hc DS gear. dnt even need to recup / evasion. leaching posion is more than enuf with combat readiness once he comes down from his air phase. shiv if ur hp looks dodgey and evasion if slabhide gets a few lucky crits off :)

if u have a rogue i strongly suggest this above method for speed purposes. was doing these at the same time as some of my other guildies and had completed 5 before they had done 2 on their respected classes. 5 per hour lockout is a pain tho. gonna try on my newly dinged 85 hunter and see how that works out while im waiting 35-40mins for me to be able to enter again :P

Got this mount on my 50th solo kill. Each run took about 10-15 minutes as a protection paladin.
I found this to be the fastest way:

1. Skip the first trash mob and the second.
2. Kill the 3rd mob.
3. Run back and pull 2nd mob ( 1st mob with millhouse will get pulled to you. You can hide behind the rock near the second trash mob for LoS pull on Millhouse and the earthshaper).
4. Run past the first boss into the cave.
5. Follow behind the patrolling giant, and run past him quickly while he is stopped (to the left).
6. Follow the second giant into the cave (kill him when he is close to the falling rocks walkway or run halfway to the slashers and he will walk by you).
7. Run down to slabhide

For slabhide it was a pretty simple fight, tried many new tactics and trying to beat my old record.
My fastest was 2 minutes and 52 seconds (also got the mount on this run No.50). usually it took me 3 minutes and 5-10 seconds, longest being 3 minutes 54 seconds.

Slabhide:
1. Pull into the middle of room (slabhide will fly up into the center, keeping them in the center = more dps)
2. Avoid the lava pools underneath, dont stand in shadows when he is in the area
3. Nuke
4. Loot

After "giving," the Reins of Ashes of Al'lar to my fi, we decided to go for the Vitreous drake and try our luck. After killing this drake the reins dropped, my mouth dropped and I yelled: "Don't Need it!" Funny enough, he said the exact same thing for his Ashes of Al'lar. I got my drake, he got his phoenix.

And yes, the reins still drop. :)

I got my Vitreous Stone Drake last night after 1104 runs, most were solo runs, though some i did group up with a friend or two. It was a nice surprise as some days i would run stonecore 50 times a day, but last night, I got it on my second run and final run for the night as I had work early the next morning. I will never return to stonecore again, it drove me crazy! I solo'd this from level 85-90 as a destruction warlock using my voidwalker to tank and now can confirm this still drops after 5.0.5. If you're soloing this dungeon just take your time and you should be fine, the trash gave me more problems then the actual bosses. Happy hunting!

A simple guide on how to quickly solo this instance upwards until and including Slabhide:

When you enter the instance, you'll notice your regular pull of Millhouse and his companions. Normally you'd have to kill the entire pack of NPCs; however, to continue further into the instance, you only have to get Millhouse to ~30-40% of his hitpoints and he'll run to the next group of NPCs. This is especially helpful if you have some manner of dropping threat completely (Fade, Feign Death, etc.).

If you do have an aggro dropping ability, then don't bother killing the NPCs and immediately press on to the next group of NPCs where you'll once again get Millhouse to ~30-40% of his hitpoints where he'll press on to the third and final group of NPCs. By this point, you'll probably have a large amass of NPCs wailing on you. If you're a Hunter, it's helpful to use abilities like Disengage to quickly navigate to each of the NPC pulls and constantly move so that the NPCs don't get to hit you as often.

Now at the third pack of NPCs, you want to get Millhouse to 30-40% to send him to Corborus awaiting the short scene. If you have that aggro drop ability, you want to move away from the NPC spawn points and use it. Otherwise, kill off the rest of the NPCs that remain and press on forward.

Note, there are very few times where the instance may bug and either 1) Millhouse will not regenerate his hitpoints and will only take 1 swift hit and he'll move on to the next stage. This typically occurs when you're standing on him at the third pack of NPCs right before he engages, it's rare though. And, 2) Millhouse might run in the opposite direction. I've had this happen one time and it required that I killed all of the NPCs.

At Corborus, just run into the tunnel when he spawns and he won't pull you (at level 90). If you have any stealthing abilities such as Fade, Camouflage, Stealth or Prowl (I'm sure there are more that I'm too tired to type) you can skip the entire cave leading you to Slabhide. So, by whatever means, get to Slabhide and after about 30 seconds, he'll engage, and enjoy. You can practically kill Slabhide without having to move out of any of his mechanics on normal mode at level 90.

That should pretty much sum it up. I'm averaging about 3-minute runs on my Hunter, accompanying using my Nitro Boosts and Disengage to get from NPC pull to NPC pull faster as well as Camouflage through the entire cave between bosses. Despite the random once every 30 attempts hick-up, I haven't noticed much trouble at all.

TL;DR, kill Millhouse and skip the NPCs if you can drop aggro to speed the run up.

After 50 runs - i got it! Rogues, disregard the guides below, just stealth in past millhouse, go to third group - throw a knife to aggro, run back up (passing second group on way) meeting millhouse as he runs down to meet you.... Dps him till he runs. do this as fast as u can using ur buffs for defense and offense if needed. He will run straight to the end! Vanish as he runs, everyone goes back to normal and u can stealth walk right on to the end as the worm comes through wall! I had runs less than 5 mins (4:05 was my quickest) including death of Slabhide!

Soloed several times as an Arcane Mage!:) Clear up 3 packs of mobs kill the first boss easy (don't pop hero).
Use blink and invisibility to reach Slabhide to pass the other packs after the first boss. Pop all cds and hero u should be able to kill him . Ilvl around 460 lvl 90 it takes around 10 min to clear easy

A hunter makes an excellent class for this run, especially if you're farming this before level 90.

1) Excellent combination of DPS and tanking thanks to durable pets.
2) Feign Death's 30 second recharge allows you to drop fights on a regular basis, which is useful if you pull by accident.
3) Camouflage allows you to skip enemies you don't have to fight.
4) Aspect of the Cheetah allows you to run faster in the instance.
5) Readiness lets you instantly recharge your cool downs for Slabhide.

Anyone else find it a little funny when people ask "Does this still drop?". Every page about a mount prior to MoP has a few of those.

If it doesn't drop in the first fifty runs, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. And those who are like "Oh, it has almost 1% chance of dropping? Then it will definitely drop after one hundred runs." No, no, NO! The loot roll is set as soon as you enter the instance, so says Blizzard. You can run it once and it will drop, or one thousand and still never see the mount. I made roughly seventy two Raven Lord runs before he dropped, but only six for my Blue Proto Drake. It is completely random.

Personally, I've run through it on my level 90 Survival Hunter 32 times exactly with no trouble, especially since patch 5.1 when they got rid of Aspect of the Fox. Nothing yet, but unless I manage to tag Aeonaxx first, I'll keep running this instance. I want a Stone Drake ;~;

I can confirm as of Patch 5.1 that this specific drake can be found on the BMAH sometimes, it will start at 20,000 Gold bid.

Decided to take on this as my next mount farm. Over a couple weeks I got 41 runs in and on the 41th I got my surprise on normal mode. As a pally i would get millhouse down while kiting trash, once first boss break out I would run to slabhide and aoe down all the trash. then kill and teleport out. Easy 5 minute runs but they are tedious!

Well, I just started playing again after a 2 year break. lvl'd up to 90 in a couple of days and headed for this one.

got it in 5 runs on normal.

easy peasy for a hunter in greens/ blue. you dont even have to move during the fight because in the end the dmg you get from lava and stones dosent matter.

now if only that ravenlord could hurry and drop soon.

I read on some site, that when you kill slabhide when he's actually in the air, you'll get the mount drop

Believe it or not .. it DID *!@#ing drop me the mount! and that on my very 2nd solo kill! luck ? or might he drop it actually for real when you 'kill' him in the air ?

A Quick and Dirty Guide to farming this mount: (Please note, all runs done with a lvl 90 Combat Rogue, your mileage may vary)

Since this mount drops in normal mode off the second boss in the dungeon, it is one of the easiest "Dropped" mounts to get to. Mind you, I said get to, not get; in the same sense it's easy to drop a quarter in a slot machine, it's not easy to win the jackpot.

Once you get into the instance, your first concern is Millhouse Manastorm. Yes, he's back. And yes, he's just as annoying.
Millhouse will hide himself among 3 groups of trash that you have to clear in order to force Millhouse to summon the first boss and clear the tunnel to the second boss that drops the Drake.

The only thing you need to know about the trash mobs is Mr Stonecore Earthshaper is not your friend. He'll try to cast Force of Earth, which turns him into a big, angry, AOE spewing pain in the backside. CC him if you can, interrupt him if you must; just make sure he doesn't cast that spell. Otherwise it's nuke, loot, and move on.

Once you get through the three trash mobs, Millhouse will summon the first boss who will burst through a rock wall and clear the way to the second boss. At level 90 you can just hug the left hand wall and make it into the tunnel without aggroing the boss.

Make your way through the tunnel, clearing trash as you have to, until you get the the next open area. There's a short run where rocks will fall from the sky; just avoid the shadow spots on the ground and you'll be fine. Everytime I've done this part, Slabhide has despawned when he got to where he was supposed to be fought. Don't worry about it, just run all the way to the second transporter and wait for him there, he spawns in after a few seconds.

After that its just nuke and loot. Take the transporter back to the start of the dungeon, exit, reset, and try it again.

Started farming today and got it around 20th run.
Dropped on normal mode, my first after too many dungeons CD.
Killed first 3 mobs and ignore the rest even first boss.
I was taking about 4-5 min from first mob to boss.

I did this during the "Love Is In the Air" so I was also getting about 25 Charms a run.
You can only do 5 runs in an hour.. so yes this took about 9 hours in the same dungeon :)

On attempt 66. As a lvl 90 windwalker monk (on normal stonecore) you can pull all the trash mobs upto the first boss (the stone worm) then you can sneak past the first boss to the left and then i ur clever enough u can skip all the mobs upto Slabhide. Then after slabhide you can click the portal then go back to the beginning. Pretty easy actually. But No sign of the drake so far. Good Luck!

If you're farming this mount:
1. You can skip the first boss, Corborus (after he shows up which requires that you have killed all the packs that had Millhouse Manastorm with them), and save your time by doing this. I'm sure it won't affect in any way on the drop rate etc.
2. If you're a hunter, use Camouflage spell at the part where you have to run throught the Elemental Giants and Shale Spider packs.
3. Use the portal behind Slabhide after you've killed him -> you will be teleported near the entrance inside the instance.
4. Also, never choose a Heroic setting, because the mount drops from normal as well -> easier and faster to do.
5. Keep in mind; you can only do 10 dungeons per hour.

I've been rather lucky this week. Yesterday I got this mount, and the day before I got Reins of the onyxian drake! Definitely a good week! Anyway, I soloed this dungeon (normal mode) on my level 90 warrior on the Arms spec. I've ran this dungeon about five times and got it on my fifth. Rather than running the dungeons with high hope and going "I hope it drops! I hope it drops!" I just casually go about running it, that way if it DOESN'T drop it's not a huge disappointment, and it's more like you just run a dungeon for fun..because you're freaking awesome like that. Plus, when it DOES drop you get to stare at it like "am I seeing things?", and then you get to proceed by running in circles screaming in joy. Or you can sit there just staring...whichever you prefer. But yeah, ran the dungeon five times without expecting anything and got a nice surprise. It's a very beautiful mount :3

If you're playing a class that can stealth or reset agro in some other way, you should just kill Millhouse from the first trash pack --> move to second pack and kill Millhouse --> run to third etc etc. you just keep running then and just before the two giants you have to pass you go in stealth. This way you only have to kill the boss and Millhouse and you're basically running the whole instance.

i hate to post like one of those people I hate.
But....
I got this to drop 2nd run in a pug last year when I was a noob 85. Didn't even know it existed. I have yet to find a cooler looking mount for my Goblin DK.

My random mount drops-
Raven Lord dropped on one solo run as 85 , just clearing the dungeon.Again didn't even know it existed at the time,
I learned about the Swift White Riding Ostrich and that became an obsession for a few weeks, 55 runs later, it happens, and I'm a happy mount collector.
I heard about the frosty blue proto drake and naively started to farm that one. Low and behold, 21 runs later,,,It;s MINE!

SO now I have two thorns in my side- that being the drake of the winds of the north and alturis deathcharter
Time to focus my attack.
I hope this post looks this good when I am sober,

For those that can't afford the drake when it is up on the BMAH , this instance is a joke on normal. I haven't tried heroic yet, but the drake drop chances don't really change on Normal or Heroic, kind of like with the mounts from Eye of Eternity.

As a BM Hunter with a 489 iLvL, I just stood back and let my worm take all the damage while I pew pew'ed things. The mobs don't really hurt if they hit you , but don't do what I did and leave Growl off. Thankfully I turned it back on in time for the first boss, but I didn't take much damage at all.

This is the first of many runs for me, as the mount obviously didn't drop on the first run . Slabhide will continue to die until he graces me with a beautiful Stone Drake.

Got this mount today after farming for almost 2 months, 5x an hr on normal. (Not religiously though.) I am a 501 lvl 90, BM hunter. For the 1st, 2nd & 3rd round of trash mobs around Millhouse Manastorm before the 1st boss, Corborus, I used my Explosive Trap & Snake Trap for each 3 encounters. I saw that I took a LOT less damage by using those 2 traps along w/having growl on, on my pet. After burning the 1st boss, I Camouflaged my way through the cave w/the Stonecore Flayer's & Crystalspawn Giants all the way to Slabhide. Burned him pretty fast too, then ran to the teleporter & rinsed & repeated till today when the mount finally dropped.

If u farm everyday, abt say 4x-6x a day each hr (5x an hr), the mount should drop sooner or later....like it did for me. Good luck guys n hope this helps! =]

As a 519 (which is irrelevant I suppose) survival hunter this is how I make the runs for this mount speedy.

Initially I will dismiss my pet before shooting Milhouse the first time, and launch a trap directly behind him and the first pack, which is really just to limit the chance of being dazed. After I begin shooting him, I'll turn and disengage (with posthaste) towards the second group to meet him there. Then I'll shoot him at the second and third groups, and (if it's up because I've been dazed) disengage towards where the first boss busts through.

Once I get there, I feign and call my pet. Kill the first boss. Then I pop on Aspect of the Cheetah and camouflage and run through the tunnel between the first and second boss. Once I get through there, I'll break camouflage by shooting one of the small shale spiders (one of the critters) where the rocks begin to fall just to disengage back towards where the boss lands. Kill the boss.

Rinse and repeat.

Running this place is incredible easy as it is, I just do this so I don't have to waste any more time in there than necessary by killing pointless trash, and I figured I'd post it for hunters looking to speed up their run.

After a long, but successful farm of archaeology, I chose this as my next farm, and planned to run norms on my Blood DK a few times a day for a long while. Third run and the mount drops...Now I am positive my RNG for Tol'vir is going to be absolutely crap ;).

Anyway, as any tank, probably most DPS too, you can just charge through the mobs killing Millhouse only as you go, until the last pack, AOE them all down. Skip the first boss by hugging the wall, run through the giants, don't stop to kill them, run straight to Slabhide and kill him with the adds present, a good DPS can probably easily kill the boss before the adds come, and just take the portal and reset and not even bother killing them.

As a 495 ilvl Blood DK 3 runs took me around 10min. 10 minutes to get a rare mount drop, never have I been that lucky and wish I could have used that luck elsewhere. A very easy farm to perform, but others have had horrible RNG so don't get your hopes up to get it in a single sitting.

I know it seems like it will never drop to some, But I am here to say yes it does.. it took me 85 runs on normal until I got it he is the picture with time, and date stamped just to show it does still drop

The SavedInstances addon tracks the 5-instance-per-hour limit, making it easier to plan your farming runs, and avoid locking yourself out of an upcoming event (eg raid night).

Just got this a few minutes ago. I usually sit out and camp for Aeonaxx while waiting on dungeon/bg queues and was sitting out there on my 86 dk and thought, what the heck i'll give it a go. First kill and the mount popped up, I had to do a double take cuz I thought I was seeing things.

Granted, it's not my very first attempt at farming it, but my first try since MoP and probably only did about 10-15 attempts in Cata so I'd say I'm pretty lucky! (on this occasion anyway)

Dropped first run through this dungeon on my 83 Mage. Didn't do anything special, just ran through and cleared only what we had to. Rolled against 4 other people, won it with an 82 need roll.

This was my very first mount drop period! I've have been playing off & on since 2006 but I was never really to involved with any end game content. So I never really had to many opportunities at fighting mobs that drop mounts. I just happened to be on when my GM asked if I wanted to run through BC. To get the achievement & hopefully some item drops to help things go more smoothly at level 80+. I was NOT expecting the mount to drop & I had no idea the mob even dropped one. I was just at the right place at the right time with the right guild. Since they all knew it dropped but were like " Hey, you take it ". I was like OH *$@(! :) Made my day for sure!

So, today on my main, I went to this dungeon psyched that it was part of Deepholme. On my first run, I got this mount. I honestly didn't think things like this happened. What a wonderful day I am now having.

78 Altairus kills....woot! Поводья дракона северного ветра

107 Slabhide kills and counting.....no sighting.

I took my lesser geared Guardian Druid in for Altairus. Just stealth past all the trash and kill the first two bosses. Repeat.

I don't appear to be able to stealth past the first three trash groups in Stonecore (the groups include Миллхаус Манашторм) as they all seem to aggro when you hit the last group. You can't get through the wall without attacking Millhouse and getting him squashed by Corborus. So I take my main in, a 520 warlock, and just burn through it all. If you're main is a stealth class, nice, you can stealth past everything between Corborus and Slabhide. If not don't worry about leveling/gearing one up, just burn through on your main, it's faster. You can get 5 runs in pretty quick and spend the rest of your hour camping something like Затерянный во времени протодракон.

Note: You don't have to fight Corborus (boss 1).

Note 2: If it won't waste your time, there are loads of critters lining the walls of this place. I can drop a Rain of Fire on them without stopping. Help your guild get Враг природы and Смерть всему живому

EDIT: 132 Slabhide kills and counting....no sighting. I guess my "post on wowhead and it'll drop" theory was wrong :(

I hate this mount more than anything in the world. Well that and math.
This is the only mount that absolutely refuses to drop for me.
This mount it why I stopped farming rare mounts. The exception being this one, which I now need to get or all the time I spent cursing at Slabhide's corpse is wasted.

Baron Rivendare's Deathcharger: 3 runs.
Azure Drake: 8 runs.
Blue-Proto Drake: 12 runs.
Raven Lord: 17 runs.
Onyxian Drake: 26 runs.
Time-Lost Proto Drake: 16 hours camping.
Fiery Warhorse: 46 runs.
White Polar-Bear: 58 dailies.
Swift White Hawkstrider: 72 runs.
Ashes of Al'ar: 108 runs.
Vitreous Stone Drake: 312 Slabhide kills... and nothing.

I hate this mount - and math so much. Oh, so much.

This having not been the first mount I've farmed in repeating dungeon runs (killing a dragon hundreds of times isn't exactly new to me), I've grown accustomed to the grind like it's second nature. However, sometimes, it becomes so stale that you have to invent your own fun.

By now (MoP), Камнешкур is easily soloable, so this isn't a guide on how to kill him, unless you want me to say, "Zone in, kill trash, kill boss, rinse, repeat another hundred times." No, these are merely suggestions for dealing with the boredom you're going to inevitably face farming not only this mount, but several others, if you're going for dungeon mount farms (especially the ones you can only farm on heroic... ugh.)

My first suggestion to any fellow mount farmer is to not make the runs about your Поводья камнешкурого дракона. If you have an enchanter main or alt, and/or a tailor, the trash packs are actually quite profitable. I've killed Slabhide maybe a hundred times and I've gotten loads of green BoE gear. I've also accumulated lots of Embersilk Cloth. I've made my fresh alt four embersilk bags by about thirty to forty runs with all of those drops.

In Каменные Недра in particular, with each trash pack I murder mercilessly, I've found that I've been trying as hard as I can to see if I can actually kill Миллхаус Манашторм, or get him to one hit point before he runs away (I never managed to do it successfully). This isn't exactly a realistic goal, or even productive, it's just an extra form of entertainment. Plus, I hate gnomes, even though I thought, "You're going to be sorry" was a fair warning of how long it was going to take me to get anything other than blue gear from Slabhide.

Give yourself a time trial. I've only done this a few times, but I've found "trying to beat your own record" can be distracting (My time is down to four minutes now, including trash kills!), and keeps you from feeling dismayed every time you loot and see another Rose Quartz Band (though very few things can brighten that shadow that encases your heart after you've seen that bastard keel over for the hundredth time). If you finish in the allotted time, reward yourself. A cookie is always good. Or finding someone to kill. I use the addon OQueue (mainly for finding RBG groups), and when you finish any instance, it tells you how long it took you, how much gold you made during the run, and how much gold an hour you'd averagely make. OQueue is great for many things... but I'm not here to talk about it :P
OQueue is now obsolete and no longer active.

Listen to music with a quick, excitable tempo. I listen to a lot of rave and trance music. Somehow, it makes me go faster, and the faster the better.

Use a Potion of Treasure Finding. Treasure chests will drop from trash mobs in dungeons. Extra stuff to sell.

If you've never heard of the addon Rarity, I'd suggest it. It tracks how many kills you've done, and it'll tell you your probability of seeing the item drop. By the time mine dropped, it reached 98% probability. It will also alert you via achievement-style sound and window when it appears.

After your five-run lockout, level that alt that you've been ignoring for months until it's time to go back in. Or disenchant all of that crap you looted and make some good gold. Depending on your server, you could be a few hundred gold richer before you restart the five kills again. And maybe you got a level or two on that new character.

Other things you can do during lockout:
-Moisten your fence wood
-Offer your husband a drink
-Dig a hole to bury a box
-Reposition your doorknob
-Stare
-Stare

So, if you're the impatient type (and I know a lot of you are), try as hard as you can not to think about that gorgeous, shiny, techno-electric-blue-colored stone drake that refuses to fall into your hands after all of the carpal tunnel you may have suffered. It could take you one try, it could take you twenty, but it might take you hundreds. Think instead of how much richer you could get, or improving your speed! Obviously with this advise, you can't skip the trash packs. If you want to make the most out of your runs through, you have to kill them all. They will even drop BoE blue gear from time-to-time. I highly suggest not skipping them.

Or cry. That sometimes works for me, too.

Note: I'm past ~~300~~ 400 kills without a mount drop. If you're in this category of unlucky people, take solace that you aren't alone.
Note 2: It finally dropped after 447 kills . So, keep at it. It WILL drop eventually. I've made thousands of gold just repeatedly running the dungeon, so if you get too impatient, you can at least earn the gold to try to buy it on the BMAH.

After seeing this mount on other players i decided that i wanted one for myself. After 30 dungeonruns i decided to read up on wowhead and got pretty demotivated when reading 100, 300 and even 500 dungeon runs.. But! Last night, my fellow mount-hunters, the RNG decided to please me and make my weekend.. It let me loot the mount after around 140 slabhide-kills and i could go back to my normal life (kinda).. I was so happy and it was really worth it guys.. She is a pretty! Hang in there :)

Wow, to cap off an amazing week.

First, ran for the North Wind drake 2 times, got it.

After around 250 runs in the last 2 years at Stratholme, Deathcharger drops!

And after 100+ slabhide kills, the mount dropped.

All this week!

I've ran this about 38 times no luck.

I do have some great quick tips though for rogues to make time a bit more efficient and quicker runs.

Take out the first 2 mobs with Manastorm.
On the third mob aim down Millhouse Manastorm. When he runs just simply vanish.
Also to run through the dungeon quicker, spec into Burst of Speed and Shadow Focus. Then you will be able to spam Burst of Speed while stealthed.
Then just stealth past first boss and all the mobs after him, take out slabhide, and use teleporter to get back to entrance quicker.

A tip for everyone - Keep your sanity! Taking breaks help a bunch.

OK so you guys might hate me. But I had just finished all my mount runs with no luck (except in EoE on my lock where i got blue drake, just 2 tries after getting the azure on my first try) I was thinking of the other mount runs i could do when I saw someone flying this one. So i went and soloed it for the mount for the first time. Wasnt expecting anything at all just normal loot items. But BAM mount drops. I started freaking out. (Dont think I'm so lucky, I lost the roll on the Flametalon mount in firelands just a day ago ;)

I Finally got lucky after 5 years on this game. I decided 2 days ago to begin farming more flying mounts. First I wanted the quick sure thing, which is the Black Drake in OS 3D. So, what I considered the next reasonable farming spot was Stone Core for Reins of the Vitreous Stone Drake. Only takes 5 min. My first attempt is on Heroic then the rest on regular of course. This dropped for me on my first Heroic run day 3 run # 11. UPDATE now 5 days later, had to Google how to get to service entrance in Stratholme. I wanted to try for the Death chargers reins. I give you my word of honor here. It dropped for me tonight on my very firs run. Crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Still can't get that Blue proto Drake though.

47 kills into the farming and nothing - but as I look at the numbers - I potentially could have a long, long way to go...

I usually run in - avoid the first 2 groups and aggro the 3rd. Lay down a fire and a snake trap and some massive aoe attacks with my pet and stampede - and kill everything at once. Run past the first boss, stealth past the rest, slaughter Slabhide and run out. Reset. Repeat 4-5 times before lockout.

It'll eventually drop... I'll update this with the exact amount of runs when I get it.

When you make these runs, have faith that it will EVENTUALLY drop. Don't get your hopes up thinking it will drop the first time, but don't get discouraged when you've made 100+ runs with no drop. Don't just farm all day every day. 3-5 runs a day and you'll retain your sanity and eventually score a cool mount. And if you find this mount to dull to farm, you could always go spend all day, every day for a week farming dailies and get the Nether Drakes :P

226 runs and it dropped. Sometimes I questioned if it even dropped at all... but after this mount I got 8 other rare mounts in 3 weeks. Ridiculous right? Ntm my onyxian drake and raven lord back to back drops. Raven lord took just 3 trys as ony drake took over 1200. Yes 1200 effin trys. 5 years I almost cried in joy. Ashes and fiery are at the same kill count and STILL no drop

The luck you guys must have getting this on normal at like 30 runs or less... I'm on 73 normal with nothing - but I have fun doing the run...

At 90 with 522+ ilvl gear this is super easy. I run in - avoid the first two groups - aggro the third, kill everything, stealth the rest of the way to Slabhide and slaughter.

No mount yet but I get to skin the 2 flayers, gather up some random Embersilk, Savage Leather, and Savage Leather scraps along with a ton of sellable gear and items. I do this everytime (g/t on Stampede depending on the cool down) I go through the instance.

Remember to take the portal for the quick exit, reset and do it all again...
...wish that mount would drop already :/

So i've been farming Slabhide since it was soloable by a hunter at level 85 during Cataclysm. Ever since i've been farming it on and off. I've lost track of the amount of times i've killed it, but i'm pretty sure it's somewhere around 300 by now. I've never seen it drop.

Until today! One catch tho.. I was doing Stonecore on my level 82 Paladin in a group. Needless to say, I rolled a 10 and lost..

Yes, today has not been a good day my friends.

Reins of the Vitreous Stone Drake, quickly becoming the bane of my existence.

I have been running the Stonecore every day, as many times as my sanity can handle, for weeks now. I have roughly 130+ runs and no drop. At least once a day I question whether the reins actually drop on Normal mode (but it seems as if they really do). As much as I want to give up on it, I can't let myself. All the comments on this are what's keeping me going and I will not stop until I find it. I envy all of you who have seen the drop on your first, second, third run. I wish I could be that lucky. I swear there is a "cool mount curse" on me. And while I have been able to successfully farm Phosphorescent Stone Drake, Time-Lost Proto-Drake, Blue Proto-Drake, Thundering Onyx Cloud Serpent, Grey Riding Camel (/rofl), and other similar mounts, this drake still escapes me ever single run, and all of my endeavors seem to be in vain. Hopefully it'll drop for me soon, as it has the rest of you, and I can move on the Invincible. /sigh.

Also, I have wondered if there is a higher chance of a drop on Heroic... haven't heard anyone give me a reason to actually believe this so I figured I'd throw it out there. Thoughts?

Finally dropped for me today on normal, 90 BM Hunter. Clear the first three mobs with Manastorm, go camo with cheetah aspect, skip first boss, run to Slabhide. Takes less than five minutes per run. Did that ten times a day for the last week and a half, so around 100 runs. Happy hunting!

ridiculously easy to solo now (destro lock, ilvl 544). I have no idea how many times i've killed him.. never seen him drop in cata, and though I have no idea how many times i've actually killed him by now it must be literally hundreds of times. maybe someday the RNG gods will have mercy on my soul.

A great way to farm this mount is by using a rogue. Easily solo-able, and you can skip all trash; including the mobs with Milhouse Manastorm. When you enter the instance, run up and attack Milhouse until he runs to the next mob. Do not attack any of the mobs, ignore all trash. Sprint/Burst your way to the next mob, and continue to kill Milhouse again. Finally, chase him down to the last mob, and again, kill him. Since you have pulled all the previous mobs, he will not run back to them. Simply vanish/cloak (to drop the DoTs) and run away, even after the mobs reset, he's already started the animation for the first boss to appear. Then just Sprint/Burst your way to Slabhide, and down him. Do this 5x an hour on a rogue, you should get him in a couple days.

Average instance time for me is around 2:03. Cut a whole minute off compared to killing the three mobs, and I just let me rogue AFK watching for Aeonaxx during the downtime between hours.

so like Monday night and Tuesday morning i was doing a rdg,
on my warlock trying to get them last 5 lvl,ugh...
ok so i have never seen mounts drop in the 2 years I've been playing wow(on & off)...
so seeing it drop Monday night i almost pissed myself with excitement,
then some dude in the group needed it and left,everyone else was like huh...wtf just happen...
so after we finished the run i logged for the night,
i come back in the morning,hit the same instance,
there's this shammy in the group goin on about how the "elements" were tellin him that the mount was gonna drop,
and sure enough it did,
like i was blowing away,
when i asked how did he know it would drop,all he would say is the elements told him......
is there something about shammy toons or was this guy pullin my leg?
or is there a way to tell if the mount might drop?

A useful tip for Ret Paladins farming for this mount; even on normal, the mobs you will have to kill are of a high enough level to proc Обугленный символ which means you will only need to cast Inquisition the once and, with the frequency of the mobs, this will stay up for your five runs.

Also, if like me, you are camping a Paladin outside the instance (on the handy 'Inn' platform) exclusively for mount farming, this one cast will last you until it drops!

This mount dropped recently after 85 kills on Normal difficulty, spread out over three weeks. (Level 90 DK Frost, each run averaged around 5-7 minutes for me)

Before this I tried to farm Altarius, sometimes entire days as much as the game would allow. I remember getting very annoyed and demotivated back then.

I never was able to get the Drake of the Northern Winds but after a break I tried out a different approach and started doing a few runs for Slabhide each day. After around three weeks the mount dropped, if you try to farm too much it really might impact your enjoyment of the game like it did with me.

I tried to see farming Slabhide as another daily quest. While I admit the feeling to get this mount still got to me at times, trying to farm a mount like this felt much more fun and rewarding. The stuff that drops within the Stonecore gave some nice gold in the end as well.

Beautiful mount. Detailed, crisp and I just love the little glows on it. Just see farming this mount as a daily quest and/or as a bonus and it will drop when you least expect it. If you're farming for this I really hope it will drop for you very soon.

I've tried to farm this for near enough about 100 times in 2 days and no mount at all. Really does suck because I've got the Magma DK set which is the same colour as this mount. God I wish they would make the drop rate higher.

A friend of mine was running me through the Stonecore today, I actually was not aware of the mount even being here. I was ran through on heroic, I believe. And the mount dropped for me. Not farming it whatsoever, I think it was luck. Especially because I got the Onyxia mount just a few days before this. (Note: I am now known to have a horseshoe up my ass.)

Just did my 15th run on Stonecore and for once found myself in complete shock to have this drop. This was a very lucky, early drop and I hope anyone else farming this also gets my luck. It is a beautiful mount especially on my xmorged frost mage! :)

So yeah, 15 runs, all on my BM hunter using my devilsaur as a tank. No health issues or anything, very easy AoE.

I have been farming this on NORMAL! And just by luck i got this on my 3rd attempt, If you wanna farm this, you will want to skip the 1st boss, and if your a druid it makes it that much easier to get past all the other NPC's and just kill kill kill! its basic but time consuming, fingers crossed that you will get within 1st 10 attempts :) good luck ppl <3

I suppose I am a lucky individual, as it got a very low drop rate. I did it with a friend of mine in NORMAL.

This dropped for me after the 3rd run. I downloaded rarity to keep a track of how many times i will kill him and was shocked that after 2 drops i got it. My heart was pounding!. Good luck to all. i will make a video on how fast my run was.

I've been farming this guy for a couple of months. Over that time, I was at 236 runs until tonight. I was actually leveling an alt alchemist and thought, why don't I try using potion of treasure finding? I had been farming skyshards using potion of luck and figured why not since, potion of treasure finding is the cataclysm version. 239 runs and I am now the proud owner of vitreous stone drake. I honestly don't know if the RNG gods finally stopped their cruelty or if the potion helped but I was willing to try anything as I was sick of the run. Hopefully, someone can confirm whether the potion works or not. I was actually thinking I had maybe been doing something wrong before this evening. Good luck on the hunt everybody and hopefully this little bit of info helps somebody else get their sought after mount.

This Is on the BMAH right now with between 2-12 hours left, the bidding is up to 66,700 gold. I wont be surprised if it goes well over 150K. This mount dropped on my very first toon's 1st time in the Stonecore. I rolled 86, my buddy rolled 88. I haven't seen it drop again since, but at least one of my friends got it!

This mount dropped for me after 147 kills (normal mode). I was trying about 20 times/day for about a week and so it got old fast. I don't recommend anyone do it this many times per day, the only reason I did was because someone told me that it was unlikely that the mount would drop for me... so I became stubborn. It was really tiresome to do and I felt kind of crazy around run 90 or so.

Like previous commenters have stated, this dungeon is ridiculously easy at level 90. Good luck to everyone farming this mount, it is beautiful and the excitement of having it finally drop is worth it!

I started farming this about 2 weeks ago.
I am a 561 Restoration Druid with boomy spec (Still using resto gear in boomy spec) -- I ran through all of the trash packs with Millhouse Manastorm all the way to the last pack (3 trash packs in total) and AoE'd them down, killed boss and stealthed through to Slabhide.

I noted down my runs -- Averaged 5 minutes when I killed each trash pack from start until Slabhide kill. Once I started rushing the starting trash packs, I pulled it down to around 3 and a half to 4 minutes. Run out, reset all dungeons. Rinse and Repeat.
I ran the maximum of 5 dungeons per hour, then camped or did dailies in the remaining time.

I noted each run down, so I could keep track.
Got the mount on the 33rd run without realizing until I checked my inventory at the vendor (Which I cleared out after each run).

Good luck everyone! This is probably the best drop chance I have had on anything in-game :P

I was just reading this page to see which type of instance the drake drops in (reg or heroic) and after my second run through reg mode it drops. My jaw hit the floor. I really didn't expect it to drop at all, at least not within the first 100 tries lol.

So like most people I've been soloing multiple instances for various bosses and have put together some statistical likelihood that I want to share with you all so that you can use this information as well to your own bidding.

So I'm farming these mounts on a day basis
Поводья синего протодракона 1.1% Chance to drop
Поводья повелителя воронов 1.6% Chance to drop
Бронированный ящер Раззаши 1.0% Chance to drop
Стремительная зульская пантера 0.96% Chance to drop
Поводья камнешкурого дракона 0.77% Chance to drop
Поводья дракона северного ветра 0.8% Chance to drop

Now I want to look at the statistical likelyhood of NOT seeing any of the above drop, we use an inverted value for the above (1% turns to 99%, 1.5% to 98.5%). The calculation is as followed

0.989 x 0.984 x 0.99 x 0.9906 x 0.9923 x 0.992 = 93.94% Chance of none of the above mounts dropping. (6.06% chance of at least one mount dropping)

I improve this by running this 7 times a week = 0.9394^7 = 64.56% Chance of no mounts dropping
OR run this 21 times a week with 3 alts = 0.9394^21 = 26.91% Chance of no mounts (73.1% chance of at least 1 mount!)

Wednesday I also include 3 weekly mounts which include

Поводья огненного боевого коня 0.85% Chance to drop
Поводья дракона Ониксии 1.13% Chance to drop

This day the chance for nothing is (daily mounts) 0.9394 x 0.9804 x 0.9915 x 0.9887 =90.28% chance of nothing dropping - or 9.72% chance of one or more mounts dropping :)

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this in the comments yet, but you don't have to kill the first boss (Corborus) in order to get to Slabhide if you have a combat drop ability like vanish. Farming him as a priest, I ran through the first three groups, killed Millhouse, ran straight through the wall Corborus bursts through and then used Spectral Guise to drop combat. There are three mobs that patrol the hall between Corborus and Slabhide that can be easily avoided. Doing this makes the run take anywhere from 1-2 min max for each attempt. Happy farming

Finally, I got it on the 150th run :) (Normal)
It's all about time, patience.
People who say it'll never drop I already said that on the 140th run, I didn't want to continue but the comments is the only thing that made me go on, then I have thought that it might drop in about 5-10 runs, and it happened :)
Remember, it's about you being patient.

For those interested, this is one of the most time efficient mounts to farm in the game. Each run (once you have the pattern down) take 3-4 minutes and there's a teleporter from Stonehide's area directly back to he instance portal. My runs averaged 3-4 minutes each until I was locked out for the hourly limit...then just come back later. Everywhere ports to Stormwind, and Deepholm port in SW places your right next to the instance entrance, so you can get there very quickly from almost anywhere in the game.

And just to back up comments below, it does indeed drop in normal mode.

This mount took me about 50 kills to finally get it.

This dungeon is very profitable if you farm it at level 90. I would easily make 1000g each run. Heres how:

Gold drops: 30g

Embersilk x80 (I have tailoring): Sells for 50g a stack on my server. 200g

Greens disenchated to Greater Celestial Essence (sells for 20g each on my server) and Hypnotic Dust (sells for 20g each on my server). This place has sooo many greens! 500g

Blue boe's. They dont sell for much in the auction house but you normally get about 2 per run. 50g

Helpful Wikky's Whistle trinket. 20g from materials and potions he brings back. Also motes of harmony. THIS WILL ONLY WORK AT LEVEL 90 AS IT ONLY GIVES CREDIT BASED ON KILLS THAT STILL GIVE XP. 20g

Golden Fleece and Golden Moss trinkets. Gold that drops around the place. These trinkets work together! THIS WILL ONLY WORK AT LEVEL 90 AS IT ONLY GIVES GOLD BASED ON KILLS THAT STILL GIVE XP. 20g

Potion of Treasure Finding: Average about 10-20 chests per run. You get alot of expensive materials with this potion a must to have. This potion lasts 1 hour! 500g

On average, a run will net you: 1320 gold.

A full run can be completed in under 10 minutes. If you skip trash and go directly to the boss then you can do this within 5 minutes.

So far im at about 30 attempts on my Prideful geared fire mage with Rocket boots, each run takes me 1:40-2:00 minutes with greater invis. I will farm this until I get it.

Very easy to solo this boss ... Did 2 runs of slabhide killing on my DK and i DID NOT expect for the mount to drop in just 2 kills .. Just sharing my experience and Good luck to all farmers !

Based on the data from Jazzycakes2 here is a spreadsheet that will help you know the odds of a mount dropping if you are doing multiple runs and maybe using more than one character to farm them.
Will depress some people and hopefully encourage others!

after about 50-75 kills (the addon I'm using only shows 37, but I haven't been using the addon as long as I've been farming), I finally got it tonight.

Also it looks like the upped the # of times you can do instances in an hour recently. I was able to run it 9-10 times in an hour instead of just 5. That also helped.

I finally got it on my 150th kill on normal and must say that I really appreciated the raise of the cap on the number of dungeons you can enter in 1 hour.

I recommend doing this on a Rogue, I managed to squeeze down a run to 1 min & 35 seconds which includes standing outiside the dungeon, perform the kill and standing outside again and having reset the dungeon.

For talents I used Ночной ловец & Внезапный порыв with the glyph . I only focused on Millhouse and did not kill any trash at all on my way to Slabhide. In other words, within 20 min I was able to make 10 runs.

Storytime!

I farmed this mount on my mains for months, soloing it on normal throughout Cataclysm, and part of MoP. Eventually, after hundreds of runs and no sighting, I sort of forgot about it.

Skip ahead: I'm levelling a druid, using Guardian spec to quickly queue through instances. Stonecore calls. I've forgotten about the mount, really; more, I'm frustrated at the group. I was patient, but it was just me and a caster (warlock, or mage, I forget which now). The other two dps were bots, afk entirely; the healer would simply stand beside them, healing them and waiting for them to move, despite us letting him know that they were just bots.

So when we hit Slabhide, the healer and other two dps were still outside the room, not responding and not approaching. I figured I'd probably die, being the right level for the dungeon, but having solo'd it so many times at lower level anyway, I just went for it.

It was a very long, gruelling fight "at level," and I came quite close more than once to dying. My knowledge of my class (it wasn't my first druid) and long experience soloing the dungeon at level served me well, however, and we did it--barely. When finally we defeated the boss, just the caster and I, we were damn happy and proud, and rightly so. The mount was the -last- thing on my mind as I clicked the loot icon--yet there it was.

The next few minutes were spent in utter, horrified suspense as I waited to see what the bot DPS & absent healer would roll... the caster and I both rolled need. I fully expected the bots to roll need and win after being entirely afk the entire dungeon--such is luck, right?

Not to be, this day! I won the roll, to my utter joy--and even the caster kindly told me, "you deserve it."

I got Поводья камнешкурого дракона on my first day after 20 runs on normal. Spent only 4 hours on it. I'm really surprised that I got it so fast. I expected it to take more then 100 runs after all the comments.

This is such a beautiful mount and I wish luck to all of you still or just starting to farm this mount. :)

mustered my will - to have it drop in two days...thank god it did...any players could have gone mad after 100 attempts lol
instance cap is around 10 if im not mistaken
