The entirety of the Cypher system is intended to improve your experience in Zereth Mortis, and will not provide any player power in dungeons or raids. If you have no interest in exploring Zereth Mortis, this system can presumably be skipped on its entirety.

The new currency to research the Cypher system is called . Currently the only way to gain Cyphers is to complete daily quests given by Firim at Exile's Hollow. Exile's Hollow is also where you access all Cypher consoles to add upgrades to Pocopoc and its systems.

There are four tiers of Pocopoc talents: Metrial, Aealic, Dealic and Trebalim. Each talent tree has an introductory talent that needs to be researched before you can delve deeper into the tree, and you're able to research up to four talents at a time, one on each Pocopoc tree.
Metrial is the talent tree for Pocopoc's core systems, and the talents will focus on having Pocopoc track you things to explore in Zereth Mortis. These things include finding puzzles, Jiro automa and Coreless automa.

Aealic focuses on Pocopoc's console upgrades. These focus on obtaining temporary enhancements for outdoor content in Zereth Mortis, and eventually synthesizing these into permanent enhancements in the form of special gear sockets. These enhancements should only work within the outdoor areas of Shadowlands, being disabled in raids or dungeons.

Dealic focuses on wildlife control, or enhancements into your combat abilities while in Zereth Mortis. These include increased stats, improved resource gathering or reduced aggro range from enemies.

Trebalim focuses on Pocopoc enhancements, allowing Pocopoc to take on a more active role by helping you in combat and taking specific roles. Make Pocopoc into a damage dealer or a healer so he fights with you!

Core will now assist you in combat.

Can use Guardian Consoles to create and temporarily take over an Automa form. Has 3 tiers.
