A: A great choice, healers in this tier will be very common to see in top groups.

B: A solid spec that can handle all the content, but relative to the above tiers falls slightly behind in damage, survivability, or utility.

C: A spec with weaknesses that make it noticeably harder to use effectively.

D:A spec with serious issues that requires very high player skill to achieve reasonable throughput results, while also not bringing especially valuable cooldowns, damage, or other utility. No healers in this time.

F: A spec with horrifying weaknesses that is in immediate need of developer attention and we’d be surprised to see played in many groups at all. No healers in this time.

Restoration Shaman is a healer that got relatively few changes coming into 9.2, but the biggest change they did get was the ability to wear 2 legendaries while playing Kyrian. Камень глубинного землетрясения + Яростный перезвон is an absolutely absurd amount of damage for M+ while they are also able to keep the party alive with good kit throughput.

Their damage coupled with the fact that Resto Shaman has top tier M+ utility in the form of Пронизывающий ветер, Тотем конденсации, Тотем оков земли, and Сглаз makes other healers difficult to compete. Resto Shaman is generally a jack of all trades healer in raid, but this definitely works to their benefit in M+. With them having no identifiable weaknesses, they are able to really carry in M+.

A Tier Specs for Mythic+ Season 3

Holy Priest being in the A-Tier is probably going to shock a lot of people. A lot of the strength of Holy Priest comes from Kyrian and just generally Holy Priest doing a surprising amount of damage in 9.2. Double legendary definitely works toward their benefit as well as Гармония сфер is something that will help them.

The biggest source of the power spike for H-Priest in 9.2 comes down to the fact that tanks on average take a lot less damage. This allows them to allocate more globals to damage output while they have a fairly strong healing throughput. Holy Priest has always been a healer that if the globals allowed it they could put out ample amounts of DPS, and this seems like the first season where tanks are sturdy enough to allow H-Priest to really pump.

Holy Paladin is a healer that has been dominant for almost all of Shadowlands. The nerf to Пепельное освящение + the terrible amount of throughput healing puts Holy Paladin in a spot where they may be somewhere between B and A-Tier. Holy Paladin is definitely being given the benefit of the doubt ranking wise as they may climb ranks slightly later on into the patch, but early on I suspect it will be very difficult to play with Hpally.

Paladin utility is still something that is quite potent if given the right circumstances. Благословение защиты, Божественный щит, and the access to a disease dispel are all reasons that Holy Pally can definitely remain in the top echelon of M+ healing comps.

B Tier Specs for Mythic+ Season 3

Druid is a healer that coming into the 9.2 PTR looked quite impressive with Kyrian link. However, with the link being nerfed a lot of the luster from resto druid has faded a bit.

A shining spot resto druid is their ability to play a second DPS legendary if they so desire, but even then their damage is a bit below where it needs to be for them to be bumped up. The major benefit of them though is their throughput. Resto Druid does a great job at making the group not feel in danger due to their insane amount of healing and great utility abilities for tanks. Unfortunately their really low amount of DPS keeps them in B-Tier but if you need a solid healer for pug groups this is high on the recommended list.

C Tier Specs for Mythic+ Season 3

Ultimately the reason Disc Priest is C-Tier is their immense struggles at keeping groups topped up and having enough throughput healing on a per-pack basis. While tanks are getting stronger as a whole this season, they do still require throughput healing to keep them propped up. This means that Disc has to throw more Темное восстановлениеs into their target to keep them alive.

Additionally, Disc does not have great upper bounds for potential damage output as a lot of their damage is passive. While this is great for raid as it generally translates to a lot of free DPS, for M+ maximizing the time you can spend DPSing from the healer position is an integral part of the game. That coupled with their lackluster HPS throughput are the reasons they are C-Tier.

Mistweaver Monk needs a LOT of help in the DPS department. Monk as a general rule has great utility in the form of things like Круг мира & Круговой удар ногой, but even with this being the case MW monk is really hard to bring due purely to their terrible damage.

They have great sustained throughput and while that is grand, they also do not have a reliable tank defensive which can become an issue as you go into higher keys. Ultimately though the reason they’re C-Tier is because their damage just is not close to other healers.
