So as many people are probably aware not all covenants are created equal and today ide like to share a small little farm that so far as made me a tidy profit over the last few weeks.

since the start of shadowlands I've put all of the resources on my main into levelling up the trail of assentation. I hit rank 3 around 4 weeks ago and unlocked the sky glider recipe. (the item needed to spawn sun dancer) over the next week I farmed around 5 gliders manually and got me and my friends the mount, I had one left over so I stuck it on the ah for 35k. it sold pretty quickly.

I spent the next day farming gliders, averaging a few gliders per hour. but it was slow and tedious. so I did a bit of googling and buried quite far in the wow head comments was a link to a item called "Supplies for the path". These can be bought for 5 Medallions of service (I had 50 at the time) and gave the materials needed to make the sky gliders. So I bought a few crafted my first 20 sky gliders and started selling. The first week business was slow. selling 2-3 gliders per day. No one else could really make them on my server so there was next to no competition.

The following week wowhead posted an article on the sundancer mount. The price of gliders had dropped to 30k but the demand spiked. And on that day I sold around 10 gliders for a neat and tidy 300k. At this point i was sat on around 600k proffit from gliders.

The week after Wednesday and Friday were quite good selling 2-3 gliders on both days but demand seemed to dry up. All in all I spent around 10 days listing with no sales untill one of my competitors snapped and dropped the price to 17k

At this point it still had mats for around 20 gliders. So I thought why not, lets list at 17k and see what happens. and what happened was I went back to selling 3-5 a day and quickly hit 1M in profit.

At this point I do no manual farming, I get the Medallions of service passively while playing the game and all of it gets converted into essentially free money.

Im still selling 2-3 a day some days are better than others but overall im quite happy with my little farm

In this video, I explain all the professions and talk about what they make, who they make it for and where they are when it comes to the everchanging WoW Timeline. I think this video will be extremely helpful to new Goblins.

Expected Results from the video should be a quick explaination of what every profession can craft or create, what those goods are good for and who are buying them. Also they will be information of every subgroup on where they stand out during the timeline and which of them get a positive fluctuation on their sales.

So I'm very new to goblin gold making, and I've successfully made my first 100k gold strictly from AH flipping.

I was wondering what you guys focus on to generate more profit.

It took me about three days of AFKing on WoW at the AH while I work from home to make my gold. And I've focused mostly on ore and meats. I did get lucky when a richer goblin reset the market for a few pots that i picked up the other day, and on some of them, sold for double what I paid which was nice.

I will say, I'm struggling a bit because I can't just reset an entire market. I can only control items that dip too low. For example if someone posts a bunch of Phantasmal Haunches for 5-6 gold, I buy them all up, stock up, then sell them when the price goes back up between 8-9 gold. But I'm still at the mercy of richer goblins. This has lead to me selling items for up to half of what they're worth since I have to live within my means.

Do you guys have any other tips or mats i should look out for? I'm thinking about spreading out to older mats or taking a bigger look at pots when they drop a significantly in price.
Don't worry about not being able to reset the market. You are doing simple flipping and gaining the experience right now is more valuable than trying to actually control anything before you really understand what is going on. On a High/Full pop server, you would need millions in order to even control a single active market.

Instead I would just keep doing what you are doing but expand into more Shadowlands resources outside of your existing comfort zone. However I would personally recommend that you only invest in markets in which you can actually use the materials in crafting (a chance to soften the blow if you make a bad investment).

Its also not always about the flip. Ideally, you would flip things that you use (consume) in your own crafts. By buying up 2x or 3x what you need at the low price, you actually have some small influence over the price of the raw good AND the price of the finished goods because your competitors are now paying at the higher price. You are already doing this with the Phantasmal Haunches if you are also crafting the food to sell -- its kinda like double-dipping in two markets for the price of one.

Older mats could be a profitable market except that the demand is very low and sales will most likely be slow.The best tip on flipping high volume goods with rhythmic ups and downs is to not worry about always being the undercutter. If you know that ores cycle up and down by about a 30% margin, you know when to buy them and just post them at the price you expect them to come up to (or maybe a little lower).

Patience is the key to making a lot of money. This is why it's good to diversify in tons of markets so you always have something that's low to buy and something high that's getting sold. It also protects you in the event of a price crash.

I do bulk crafting in a ton of different markets and sort of set and forget. Knowing market saturations is important in knowing how much of an item you should be crafting and posting. It's not an exact science, but it is a balancing act. You don't want to have not enough of an item where you're constantly getting bought out quickly and there ends up being a lot of dead time where you have nothing in that market on the AH. But at the same time you don't want so much of an item where it takes too long to liquidate stock where prices have a chance to fall to where you start to lose profit on it.Further Reading/r/woweconomyDiscord ServerTwitch@SamadanPlaysWoW
