Really? THAT mount is Demon Hunter only? Ugh. Good job, Blizzard.
I'm pretty sure the quests indicators would already grey out when they were indoors. As for the battle pets, I'm not 100% sure.
That cat needs to get fixed BADLY. It moves like it has brain and/or spinal damage. NO cat walks with their head like that. It looks like it can't look up and is constantly looking down. That's not a predator looking for prey. That's an injured animal looking to die. I'm expecting the tail to be between its legs due to it being in pain. The felsaber uses the same animations which makes it look stupid, too. The felsaber was hideous as it was, but the animations make it look worse. Sad the demonsaber suffers from the same animation issue. But of course Blizzard won't do a damn thing. Blizzard seems to have no issue with animal cruelty. The new turtle looks like it ran into a boat propeller, the WoD talbuk walks with hip dysplasia, and the new fox has the reins BOLTED to its head. The other mounts have issues, too, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. Guess we know who actually cares for animals in the real world and who doesn't give a damn. Also shows how "observant" Blizzard animators are. They can't make the moose move like an actual moose and instead make it walk like a horse with a jumping run. It's disappointing. As for the Face Off challenge, honestly haven't watched the show in like 2 or 3 years. I might catch the Warcraft episode when it's on but meh. While the artists are good, I'm getting tired of the show having more professional artists on it rather than showcasing new undiscovered talent. Why are artists who have had their art showcased on TV shows (one artist on the show did work on the TV show Grimm BEFORE they appeared on Face Off!) and not those that are trying to get their foot in the door? The show's rigged. And then giving the judges the ability to save a contestant for another episode if something bad goes for them? That's life. If your parent dies, you aren't going to get a save for missing work or school. I got really tired a long time ago of watching shows where people get voted off. While Face Off was interesting due to the display of talent, it's just Survivor, etc with makeup challenges instead.
The cat looks terrible. It's got the same ungainly running animations that has plagued nearly every mount/race in WoD (Nelfs, Tauren, Wolves, Talbuks, Boars, Hippos etc). Also not entirely sure why there will be two mounts that are DH only when both are ground mounts. The mini-map changes though sound fantastic. It's little things like that which improve the quality of the game immensely, and not the huge changes (which often turn out to be failures). It doesn't seem like much, but being able to tell if an NPC, quest item, rare mob or a battle bet is inside a cave/building is an amazing feature that will be extremely helpful.
I love how two of the contestants supposedly nerd out over WoW yet none of them calls him Illidan. "I immediately recognised the Warcraft character herp derp"
They REALLY NEED to animate the player characters while on mount-back. My god, when are they going to do that already? The PC models sitting stiffly on a beautifully animated mount looks SO GODDAMNED STUPID. Frick, why is no one at Blizzard bothered by that? I can't even use certain mounts because of how badly the PC bobs stiffly around on them!
At least one or two realized it was wow before they said the name of the game.
Demonsabers..Why do I feel that perhaps we should also have "demonstriders"? Take a hawkstrider, paint it green and purple, give it a black beak, and toss in glowing red eyes. Boom: Blood elf DH mount.
More cat mounts!
I'm seriously nerding out right out, ha ha. And that demonsaber is sweet looking.
That clip annoyed me. A couple of problems:1) It's really irritating when people are completely ignorant of the fact that WoW was the 4th entry into the Warcraft franchise. The presenter introduces the Warcraft franchise as "the online multiplayer roleplaying game". Well, are you not even going to mention the THREE RTS games that came before it?2) Her statement "features many races that didn't make it to the big screen". Umm, what? What she says is true, but it's said as though to imply that other races besides Orcs and Humans weren't good enough to make it, which is obviously completely false. They won't be appearing in the film, because they didn't appear in the First War.
Am I the only one who thinks of Jeff Dunham's Bubba J when looking at this cat mount?
I'm loving the broken jaw on that cat though. It's a serious alternative to removing the voicebox of a cat. Just break their jaw and get rid of that pesky meowing./sarcasm
