Few months ago i bought vial of the sands. Someone undercutted it and it was around 15k less than for what it usually goes so it made me want to buy it so i bought it and now i can offer taxi rides to newbies
The Multiboxing section skipped over the #1 hated reason of multiboxing.. Not many people care about Multiboxers farming node/raids and posting on AH.. what most people hate about multiboxers is the total unfair advantage it gives them in world PvP. A person with 20-25 accounts can roll through any town and leave a path of devastation, and is difficult for a regular counter-raid with even 40 players to handle..and the reason why it's difficult for a larger raid to counter a smaller multiboxing raid is due to their focus targeting.. while the 40 real players are generally disorganized and attacking at random multiple toons, the multiboxer's 20 players are all simultaneously focusing down the 40 man raid's healers or beefier players.. where getting hit by even 20 of the weakest of spells the multiboxer has pretty much equals instant-death to even the beefiest of player... imagine getting hit 20x times by a spell that does a measly 300k damage, that's 6 million damage... Now imagine getting hit by their 1.5 million instant damage spell 20 times.. 30 million damage, no surviving that no matter how much armor and stam you have.I have seen tanks with 10-13+ million health go down in literally under 1 second flat, and a quarter of the raid of ~16 players go down simultaneously to one synchronized aoe attack spam.In the end, the multiboxer wiped the floor with the 40-man raid and utterly devastated them because they could not compete with being insta-killed by simultaneous Focused/AoE attacks..
aside from WoW tokens, the most expensive thing I've bought was a Wooly White Rhino mount in WoD, for 110k gold (US-Ragnaros AH is so cheap)
My most expensive AH purchase was the Depleted-Kyparium Rocket, which I bought during WoD for 80k. I justified it (somehow, through my frugal-collector logic) because I got a Geosynchronous World Spinner for free from a Blingtron 5K.
HelloI love mommy and daddy highest item price I bought from the actoinhouse is wowtoken
most expensive i bought in AH was Darkmoon trinket for 40k.worst decision ever.
I think my most expensive one was the Vial of the Sands mount. Maybe around 45k. Yes, I'm not so wealthy. :D
Highest cost for an item that ive bought from AH is the magic rooster mount, was worth it.
My most expensive buy from the auction house is a wow game time token. After that it would be a cloak I flipped. Bought for 50k and sold for 150k
I Guess It was an Ethereal soul trader. I bought It for 150k if i remember correctly. But i think ive spent more than that on flasks only
My most expensive purchases have probably been TCG mounts like the Amani Dragonhawk, the Ghastly Charger, etc for upwards of 500k or more. I bought several of them and it broke me several times over. Got me that 300 mount achievement though!
I think the biggest expenses in the WoW AH are probably TCG pets such as spectral tiger, ethereal trader, chicken rocket, ...
Absolutely love the changes to TUJ! The string idea is fantastic!I also tend not to spend very much, I'd rather sell unique or fun items instead of collect them. If I spend big, I do it to resell later. Technically the most expensive item I bought was an x-51 nether rocket extreme for 800k from the BMAH but because only AH was specified, my most expensive AH purchase would therefore have to be a Minion of Grumpus for 150k gold (which I resold, of course). Thanks again for another great article, Gumdrops! I look forward to the next.
Most expensive would be my savage raptor.. nothing special but i'm a bit of a mount%^&*! ...
My most expensive purchases have been a few of the new crafted legendaries for a few hundred thousand each. Back in WoD I bought the rhinestone sunglasses for 130k and I still love them!
According to the statistics in World of Warcraft, I once paid 85k for something, but I couldn't say for sure what. It was likely a minipet of some kind. A Darkmoon Rabbit, or an Ethereal Soul Trader, or one of the other TCG pets. It had to have been some pet that I knew I was never going to get any other way, as that's really the only thing I look at when I go to the AH. :)
We upgraded the prize to 90-days from 60-days. Good luck everyone!
My most expensive purchase was just a while ago, I bought Reins of Poseidus for 400k. I made that gold back within a week
My most expensive Buy on AH, would prob be Sky Golem for around 40k, since it made farming as a herbalist much easier. but else i dont think i bought anything particular
I usually dont really have luck in selling transmog pieces because of undercutting people, but i watched a tutorial on youtube about the darkmoon faire transmog pieces selling pretty fast for a hefty sum of gold. I tried it a few months back and what do you know... it actually sold. I got one of the belts and it sold for about 80k g. Was really surprised that it sold at all not to mention it sold relatively fast as well.
