The macro I have on my alternate toolbar for every character - I just call it "yes" and it's this script \r\/click StaticPopup1Button1\r\rIt basically selects the 'yes' prompt when you're given the yes\/no option. Incredibly useful in a number of situations, but mostly for buying lots of items that give yes\/no prompts - what would normally take minutes just takes seconds.
The add-on Buy Them All will do the same thing in a fourth of the time as your method. Check it out, really nice for things like the blood vendor.
DialogKey is also awesome for not having to click things.
When I was a 9 year old newb back in vanilla and first discovered macros I annoyed everyone by macroing every single ability of mine to have a line when I used it. Think I kept doing that for a month until I was like," wait, I'm not a roleplayer..."
Why type \/macro when you can type \/m
Why type \/m when you can keybind a macro that does \/m?
Aren't macros for noobs?
Aren't macros for noobs?\r\rMacros are for players who don't like to type, click through or read a bunch of unnecessary stuff.\rSadly I don't know one for daft comments on forums.
My main macro (besides for stacking similar spells on one key ofc) is the language change macro.. As a panda mage on ad, this was quite important to make - unfortunately, there are tons of bugs with the pop-ups with text fields and connecting macroes to pass the 255 limit is horrible :( yet, the one just switching between Pandaren and Common in half a second and without the mouse ftw :p
"Macros have a screen dedicated to themselves. "No, they do not, that thing is called a window.Edit: One of my most commonly used macros across several chars is "\/use 15" to use the goblin-glider on my engineers. And the \/rnd macro of course.
You could use \/run BuyMerchantItem(11,5) for buying automatically. The first number is the item's number in the vendor list and the second one is the quantity.
