I like the new system!
To be honest, War Mode looks pretty interesting and I wouldn't mind trying it out!
I am fully satisfied. War Mode, Dueler's Guild, account-wide honor, bounties, better conquest system, PvP hot-spot crate drops... It's the amalgamation of my PvP dreams coming true.On a side note, I'm curious as to why they like to capitalize "Assassin" in regards to the player affix in the bounty system. It is not a proper noun, and should not be capitalized. Even while being differentiated from "assassin" without context, it is just a temporary descriptor. They may have capitalized it because they consider it a named game system \/ mechanic, but that still wouldn't justify capitalization.Edit: For an example, even with a prestigious title such as "prime minister", that wouldn't be capitalized unless it is directly attached to a person's name as a title. Not capitalized on its own despite the unique position: "Justin Trudeau is the prime minister". Perhaps Blizzard just as an a-typical house style.
I really like War Mode and I'll definitely be toggling it on in BfA.\r\rThe only thing I don't understand is why there's still a PvP toggle on the player's unit frame. Is this intended, or just forgotten and left there doing nothing?
I actually look forward to PvP again. All of these changes sound interesting and a bit more player friendly \/ balanced.
Gonna try and use war mode at least during the time before we go to the other factions zone.
Bounty Hunter and Air Drops have me\u2014a casual, only very occasional pvp\u2019er\u2014seriously considering trying to get some friends together to form a party to run the content in war mode. This sounds quite fun.
Definitely will keep it on at launch. There aren't going to be a lot of levelled opposing faction players in your zone for the first few days at least.
What a crock. You make an expansion and reward PvP with abilities and even a 15% power gain, while you screw over PvE, giving us classes that hardly function,(vanilla style play for everyone even though we never asked for it) or are just plain broken. Oh but wait, they might fix us in a future patch! Not that we need a functioning class\/spec or anything like that to ACTUALLY PLAY THE EXPANSION, oh no, we really do not need that. Blizz has decided to cater to the lowest common denominator in this expansion, PvP, and leave PvE with our classes in shambles without any extra abilities to actually round out most of the classes\/specs to function batter than they currently are. \r\rA total slap in the face to any PvE player that pre ordered this garbage. When the general public get their hands on this hot mess, the sub losses will be real. \r\rI sure as he ll wont be playing this travesty! \r\rSo glad the PvP crowd gets to double dip in almost every aspect of the expansion including what amounts to loot boxes dropping out of the sky, while players that will still never PvP because welp, this game was never made as such, get hosed.\r\rThe group abuse will be REAL!

Learn it, love it, live it!
Now this is great. I've been RPing my hunter as a bounty hunter, I hope this would fulfill that design further.

Legion was way more pve focused its a back and forth thing Removed
Welp, this looks pretty cool. I've never understood the appeal of pvp realms, since the risk of being killed at any time doesn't seem fun to me. Now that we can turn it on and off as long as we return to our capital, hey, maybe I'll learn lol. I'm willing to give it a go.
I like being able to pick what honor talents I get no matter what "tier" they are in however I am not happy that we only get the three (not counting the trink). As a resto, I relied heavily on brambles for that damage for times I am forced to fight. In BfA, I can't pass up the other three talents so therefore am going to be nothing but a punching bag- there will be no reason to ever NOT hit me because I am losing the pathetic damage that I could do... every several minutes off c\/d...\r\rBlizz, please give us one more talent to choose from! We have like six right now, right? Make a sad druid able to stand up to another player out in the world! Sometimes I can't run away! :(
So just to clarify. The honor becoming account wide in BFA will count the honor we've accumulated over Legion unlocking artifact skinS and what not or is this honor account wide share only apply to honor gained AFTER Legion?
So glad the PvP crowd gets to double dip in almost every aspect of the expansion including what amounts to loot boxes dropping out of the sky, while players that will still never PvP because welp, this game was never made as such, get hosed.\rBut when pve tier and trinkets were straight up better than pvp gear in wpvp and legendaries dropped more for pve than pvp (having way more chances) and pvpers getting the short end of the stick every time over Legion. That was cool huh?\r\rPvping carries more risk during leveling and end game thus more reward. For those complaining or saying they're getting all these free perks without said risk, then simply take advantage of the PvP mode and enjoy the "free" perks.
So just to clarify. The honor becoming account wide in BFA will count the honor we've accumulated over Legion unlocking artifact skinS and what not or is this honor account wide share only apply to honor gained AFTER Legion?\r\rAll honor accumulated during Legion will be added up into these new honor levels. For example, on all my characters combined I'm about the equivelant of prestige 27(roughly), whilst my highest prestige character is only 14, on the beta combined after copying over all my characters I reached to honor level 137.
I've never been into PvP, but the War Mode seems really cool - I might give it a try!\r\rI must've missed some news on BfA, however, can someone tell me: is the new War Mode replacing the PvP setting already available on the character portrait? If I remember correctly the "legacy system" had been used to turn on PvP in contested areas, whereas, War Mode will turn it on everywhere, right? I'm just confused if Blizz is removing the old way or not.\r\rAnd secondly, will there be any difference for War Mode on PvE and PvP servers? E.g. will it be on by default on PvP and optional on PvE worlds?
So when using the premade group finder you will be able to see groups made by players in both modes in the dungeon and raid categories but you will not be able to see groups made by players in both modes in the quest (and by extension WQ) and custom categories? It essentially divides players where they weren\u2019t divided before. I had no problem joining a group on a PVP realm (and presumably vis versa) to do a boss or quest because it only lasted a few minutes at most and made groups form faster since they could be pulled from the entire playerbase instead of just those who do and don\u2019t want to PVP.
One thing that does worry me about this is world scaling. What if you're an innocent level 30 questing in Southern Barrens, and along comes a level 55 guy who then proceeds to murderize you? I suppose no system is flawless, but that is a real possibility.
