Exciting!
a turtle made it to the water
Exciting!\r\rWe're one big happy family!
gzzzzz!
Yay! I am excited (now to get my Char raid ready)
yay more content i don't care about, personally only come here for db searches, legitimate wow news thats it.
I'm starting to suspect that Wowhead is becoming just a platform for advertising, rather than actual WoW news... These "partnerships" just reeks of quid pro quo. Wish thottbot were still around...
i'm very much not the target audience, but if there's an audience for it, good for wowhead and for the guild
How must did ZAM pay for this "partnership?"

Wish thottbot were still around...\r\rSee, as long as the goal of providing valid and quality information is reached, I don't see what that issue would be. Even if - for some reason- you dislike Method, you cannot deny they are very knowledgeable about many aspects of the game.

Most are either common knowledge or if a player is so bad(or new) he won't really learn much from them. Any random video from someone who has done a mythic 15+ will be about the same value as their guides.\rWhat I'm saying is that it definitely smells of quid pro quo to me as well.\r\rOf course I'm sure that there are people who are interested in their guides. As the saying goes "To each his own". \r\rPersonally I'm interested in actual news or guides that are useful. Telling me what rotation to use to bring 1k more dps is irrelevant if you aren't a mythic top 50 raider and if you are a mythic top 50 raider I highly doubt that you need such guides.

Since he is a moron and doesn't bother playing classes properly for his "ranking" videos.

If there is a specific topic you feel would be useful in a guide, let us know and we can find someone to write it (or better-highlight something we already have). We aren't interested in creating content players find useless (that said, we can't make everyone happy with each topic).

If both sides are working on a deal to benefit each other, then reimbursement should figure into it instead of asking people to work for free. Personally I think it's kind of weird when deals aren't disclosed and people just so 'happen' to use a particular product (WoW or otherwise)--and if an influencer is large enough and failing to disclose partnerships, it can result in government violations.Method may be remembered by many WoW players as just a high-end raid team, but they are involved in many facets of WoW now, as well as many games. Recently they signed Gumdrops, our long-time Economy columnist, to the organization for example. They cover lots of topics now and we'll be looking to highlight a broad spectrum of topics. We did a series of Mythic raid guides in WoD and we agree that felt a bit niche, so in Legion we've tried to branch out and do varied topics like Mythic+ Q&A, PvP advice etc. We're looking to continue with this into BFA, having Method experts write topics that they're knowledgable about that large segments of Wowhead's readers will also enjoy. If there is a particular topic you'd like someone from Method to write about, that's good feedback as well and we'll request it of them!
How must did ZAM pay for this "partnership?"\r\rMore than you can imagine. You gotta get better for even a chance of getting any of these "partnership" deals :P
As a premium Member i hope we are allowed to block anything Method related as i have zero interest in the crap put out.
Is there any danger of getting someone mid range to do some stuff rather than this elitist top end stuff. How about something for the masses rather than the few.

We are specifically not looking to do Top 100 Mythic Raid tips with Method, but people enjoy following the World First race and cheering along, so we'll likely do something about that. Other things we are doing are Q&As, where the audience submits the questions, so if the players want to know something about Normal\/Heroic raiding, they'll adjust their answers accordingly.
Nice! Loved the stuff about the Mythic+ so far, keep up the good work!
thank you for a balanced responce
