This is a really good way of nerfing content while having players actually do the content. It's a way better system than a guild bashing their heads into a third boss and then it magically getting nerfed, you have to actually show that you're able to kill some bosses and that some others are just more of a challenge for you.
Killed 3 LFR bosses. Didn't get updated Array on Normal Azerite item
Killed 3 LFR bosses. Didn't get updated Array on Normal Azerite item\r\rI killed 3 LFR bosses and got the second stack of my Reorigination Array last night. (Which was actually the reason I delayed this post for this week, because I wasn't sure how would that work)
Do you need to have the Laser Matrix\/Archive of the Titans trait selected in order to start gaining progress towards the Reorigination Array stacks?
Is the effect tracked by player or by item? If I swap out a piece of Azerite gear that gives access to Reorigination Array, does the stack start over or do I stay at the same buff level?
Is this tied to the specific piece of gear or to the character?\r\rIf I get a heroic level azerite piece and replace it later with a mythic, do I lose the built up quest 'stacks' ?
Do you need to have the Laser Matrix\/Archive of the Titans trait selected in order to start gaining progress towards the Reorigination Array stacks?\r\rActually, you don't! The quest progress isn't tied to having the Uldir traits, so you can reach 10 stacks without ever having an Uldir Azerite piece. However, you won't receive any benefits without them.

Thank you! wording was a little confusing to me. :)
so, even if Uldir traits are @#$% for your class, sooner or later you'll be forced to use ONLY that for raid for the buff?

Hmm I seem to recall having to kill 3 more Uldir bosses after I first gained access to Reorigination Array, but this guide would suggest that that is incorrect (the guide suggests that the bosses I killed before gaining access to the buff should have contributed to the quest).\r\rFrom what I remember my first lockout looked like this:\r\rKilled Normal Taloc\rKilled Normal Mother and got Azerite shoulders with Archive of the Titans trait\rReorigination Array gave zero stats at this point\r\rKilled Normal Fetid Devourer\rKilled Normal Vectis\rKilled Normal Zek'voz\rReorigination Array then upgrades to give 74 stats\r\rIt's possible that my recollection is wrong, but I'm definitely sure that after having killed Mother (thus already killed 2 bosses) and equipping the shoulders, I got the Reorigination Array buff, it gave no stats, and when I moused over the buff, the tooltip definitely said that I needed to kill 3 more bosses in order to upgrade it.
Now, Uldir just have to drop a piece of Azerite armour for those of us who has serious issues with blizzard RNG machine...\r\r1 Normal Clear and 2 bosses down on HC, 2 pieces of gear. We are 27 raiders, and some didnt get anything, while 8 people got 4-6 items. This PL system is the worst piece of #$%^ idea in the history of wow raiding.
Thank you very much for the explanation! I had no idea what this thing was...\rIt sounds like a very interesting nerf system!
do you need both traits to gain this effect? or just one? is it always active or only when the original traits are active?

Even so that after I got mine off Zul, I immediately had the +75 stats buff and no other tooltip showing.

is it worth stacking 3 azerite pieces ?
Here are my thoughts.\r\rI both want to spec into it, and don't want to spec into it at the same time.\r\rI do because it's the best trait.\r\rI don't because it's boring. I don't want my character to just be more powerful that's not what the AP system should be! It should modify my gameplay, make me reconsider which talents I'm using, which abilities I use and when!\r\rThis literally just makes numbers bigger. And that sucks.\r\rSo no, I don't want to see this every tier. I want to see actually interesting traits.\r\rI still hope that those are just the introductory traits, the stuff to get us acclimated. But, I don't know, no one does.

Reorigination Array is ok, after all, it's a weekly soft nerf. But they should work better in the primary traits for each raid, bringing us traits that really enhance the gameplay.
