Wow, what a missed opportunity to use those fancy Tidepriest totems... \r\rI hate this trend of using national symbols over the races' actual shamanistic traditions so very much...
Those look incredible!
Mixed feeling about these. I like the cauldron-like look of them, but the anchor motif, while obviously racially appropriate, just looks kind of weird; less thematic than, say, the Dark Iron's hammer and mountain motif on their totems.
Neat! :D
No tentacles? :O
so nice ! i hope rework zandalari totems
Humm,i don\u00b4t like that much, Mag'har and Zandalari Troll totens looks way better than this.
Couldnt have just been an anchor?

They're new and these are even newer. \r\rIt fits their theme perfectly: orderly yet nautical.

Devs used to put actual work into stuff. Now they do lazy work and take much longer doing it. So much could have been done with the new allied races that just hasnt happened.

It's a wonder they even get up in the morning.

The nice tidepriest totems perhaps? Some actual shamanistic looks? Something besides an anchor.

Definitely not what I was expecting, which would have been anchors standing on end. It certainly has the KT flavor but it's a little disappointing.
I think he said what. The nice tidepriest totems perhaps? Some actual shamanistic looks? Something besides an anchor. He already said what in his comment...He also said it was a 'trend'. One time is not a trend. So I'll ask again, what other 'shamanistic traditions' would have been better represented than by using 'national symbols'? When did it change? Heck, what does an 'actual shamanistic look' even look like, if not something thematic for that race?Come to that, when have they EVER had an 'actual shamanistic look' since they started getting their own versions? And how do you complain about not properly representing a 'shamanistic tradition' that you never even saw before last August?Tauren have the original horned totem poles.Orcs have axes.Trolls have shields on a stick.Goblins have a mechanical drill.Pandaren have a keg.Dwarf totems look like a metal-work shield on a pole, with wings.Draenei looks like something high tech and alien.Highmountain have a winged totem pole. Mag'har have a giant cup. What does any of that have to do with the 'shamanistic traditions' of any of those races? There's maybe an effort here and there to make them look like the original tauren totem, like with the draenei or the side bits on the pandaren keg, But every single one of them is clearly designed to represent the race itself, not some abstract 'shamanistic tradition'. Oh sure, maybe the tidepriest models would have been preferable, everyone's entitled to an opinion. But to say that it's lazy to keep doing exactly what they've always done, and to pretend it used to be different? As far as I'm concerned this is a pointless whine about something that was never true to begin with. Make of that what you will, I've said my piece.
Awesome!
I like them - look very thematic and cool!
oh, Its a beautiful anchor desing, but I didnt like that "hook" base, my Kultiran shaman wont gonna happen :'(
