Totally the mother and father of the tinker class! So glad they\u2019re seeing more screen time!
I kid you not when i say this but we are 100% getting a tinkerer class next expansion and this along with mechagon is the breadcrumbs to it\r\rThey're laying it all out to go into the next expansion.
I hope a 'tinker' class is never introduced to the game.\r\rHowever, I am looking forward to a mechanical parrot mount -- especially if it's for engineers.

It'd be cool to have another ranged weapon user. The problem with that is having a lore reason to create a class that's essentially based on a profession and also making it have a class identity and not be broken as hell. I can picture it tho and have nerdy dreams about it, a tank spec where you suit up into a mech, a minion based one where you control robots or use gadgets to damage enemies, maybe a healer one where you use gadgets to heal allies, create zones of healing with a robot healer. Will probably never happen and is probably for the best but a man can dream.
I'm so relieved Azeroth's best couple survived the bomb, that part brought me to tears. Before the Storm is hands down one of the best Warcraft books, right up there with The Last Guardian, War Crimes and the War of the Ancients books.\r\rAlso, we are totally getting tinkers.
That Mecha-parrot mount is awesome looking.
It's the Mechanical Chicken escort quest all over again...\r\rI wonder if this was an intentional reference on Blizzard's part.
i'm crying this is so wholesome
really happy to see they both survived ^_^

They are literally collecting balancing information up against every current in game class which now that I think about it, may explain why it seems like every other Island expedition seems like its up against the Tinker group....
Uncommon, really? This trend of BfA to have expensive or quest pets be nonrare at aquisition is NOT ok.
lul... guess I'm the only one who is really meh about this dumb romance xD but hey, happy ending for em at least~ though ya, tinkerer class seems very much in "testing" this xpac with things about it popping up here and there. I'd be very much into a proper new class and tinkerer\/engineer type class would be real fun. Honestly, it's been long overdue for this type of class since Warcraft isn't just fantasy, with all the steampunk, space, cars, computers, and so on type stuff. While engineer profession's been around, a full on tinkerer class is needed to represent this side of warcraft tech and would be great in how different it would be to the current classes.
So there's chance for piece isn't it?
The problem with that is having a lore reason to create a class that's essentially based on a profession and also making it have a class identity\r\rYou must be kidding right? One thing is that the tinker class was already present in Warcraft 3 as a neutral hero, second thing is that the class is already in the game, just not playable.\r\rYou can see the class identity in many NPCs (with High Tinker Mekkatorque being one of the most famous since Vanilla) and more specific look of a future playable class in specific Island expedition npc teams full of tinkers with various roles. There is basically nothing remaining to do, it's already there, just not playable... yet...

I for one can agree with the fact I'd rather have other classes over tinker -high fantasy- classes. But hey, Blizz does what it does ^^
Yeah with all those mech-related updates incoming, it looks more likely now that there's a foundation for a tinker class.
I must admit I'm starting to get on the Tinker hype train. It'd be nice to finally have a class that can represent the tech side of Warcraft that's been building since the second game. Not to mention it's put gnomes more in the spotlight, something that's been lacking until recently. Also nice to see these two showing that races can still get along cross faction, despite the war.
I'd rather have tinker as alternate class fantasy for existing classes. Like how hunters can have bots for pets. A mage using a gun to cast their spells, with a bot shooting a stream of freezing water next to them would be awesome. You wouldn't have to worry about extra balancing or class bloat or trying to keep a class that's supposed to be about creating unique and innovative inventions actually live up to that.
The people who think tinkers would come, you think you want but you don't.
I think BTS also suggests Grizzek invented the Horde Blizzcon warship thing from a couple years ago.
