Yeah, nah, he's already turned. We've seen that Sylvanas doesn't need weeks to torture and convert her newly risen undead into puppets. I would have maaaybe brushed it off if he'd wondered aloud "what do I do now?" but him basically begging Jaina to not leave him alone tells me that he wants her near, and it's not for the comfort of family.
FOR GOD SAKE why nobody can spell Cairne correctly here? :Dso far ive seen Caerne, Carine and god knows what else
This expansions would feel SO MUCH BETTER if MoP hadn't been a thing *sigh.* I can't commend BfA for taking MoP's themes and doing them arguably better when it still feels like such a rethread. But Anyways, this was great if we look it by itself. "Is he the bomb now!" Was such a great line, and Baine *finally* did something. And at least he acts different than Vol'jin, so that he has a different personality really creates new interactions.Still, I'm hoping that whatever game Sylvanas is playing is ultimately different from Garrosh, but It's so hard to see as an actual possibility at this point.
Even if Derek is a pawn of Sylvanass as so many here believe... What will he accomplish? There's no way he can kill Jaina. And even if he did...What? Sylvanas honestly thinks that by murdering Jaina or Katherine the Kul Tirans or the Alliance will back off?Remember how the Night Elves backed off after Teldrassil? Yeah, no.Sylvanas' tactics are always presented as shrewd and cunning only to backfire spectacularly
I legit cried like a little biatche at that reunion cinematic... T^T
Baine For warchief!
Deep..Blizz : Players.. Long has it been since we spoke peacefully in Vanilla.Players : Vanilla is gone. You did not ask me here to reminisce.Blizz : No. I have come to return one who is lost. (BFA 8.1.5 walked in).Blizz : WoW has a sickness in it. We waged war while the gameplay dies. We have forgotten what truly matters. And my heart can bear it no longer.Players : Activision will kill you for this. And she may not stop with you.Blizz : No game is worth playing if we cannot be true to our nature.
I scanned through the other comments on here, and... Petty arguments aside, I CAN'T have been the only one to notice this...Derek Proudmoore has glowing blue eyes. Why the HECK does he have Death Knight BLUE eye glow?Typical Forsaken don't have this. Nathanos has red eye glow. And unless Blizzard has gone completely off the rails and totally abandoned some of their main rules about that, these things DO have reasons. Is Sylvanas somehow making Death Knights of her own now? Because I'm betting it certainly wasn't the new Lich King, we've established his stance on Sylvanas' weirdness by now, and I highly doubt he'd be willing to do this for her. Thoughts?
I'd like to point out how back in the Elegy books, there's a discussion between Saurfang & Sylvanas about putting on a performance, an inner horde drama that seemingly splits them apart. How our characters could very well be double agents (there's even an achievement for that and so many people have done both sides....). How I think its pretty conspicuous that Saurfang was attacked by ONLY Forsaken troops, and the Meeting for "Arresting" Baine and "Killing" Zelling was in Alliance lands and how Zelling is Undead and can thusly pretty accurately portray being "Dead" Just like all those Forsaken we "kill" trying to protect Varok and get Derek freed.... How Anduin is putting trust into Saurfang.... How its pretty fakking conspicuous that we free Derek from a Ship supposedly before Sylvanas could warp his mind, when he was being held in Dazar'alor for that Very Purpose, and that close up on the knife....I Think we have a conspiracy on our hands boys and girls.... I Think Sylvanas and the others are playing both sides against the middle, trying to Fool the Alliance, and EVERYONE is eating it up like breadcrumbs. XDPS: Skye those eyes aren't Blue, they're White.
