SYlvanas did nothing wrong. What is life on azeroth if it means defeating old gods? (we all die for real if that happens)
The "I hate funerals" bit came from Gazlowe and not Gallywix, at least for me. Typo, or is that a result of a decision somewhere along the line?
Is it only me thinks that this reminds alot of "Code Geass" ending?https://youtu.be/UElMxJTMT-c?t=63Search for this on youtube if you don't want to click the link; Lelouch Death Code Geass R2 Ending English Dubbed (1080p)Start watching from 1:03.
It's a shame. We should have wiped out the entire alliance from this world... but we have so many short sighted traitors... who forgot our desteny... we were destined to conquer tousends of worlds... but with this people... who choose the alliance instead of the horde... It's really a shame...
Overlord Geya'rah: A great leader must have more than strength.Overlord Geya'rah: They must be true to their people. They must live and die for them!Overlord Geya'rah: Do not forget this. We will not repeat Sylvanas's mistakes!Overlord Geya'rah: Go'el.Thrall: Geya'rah.Thrall is on a bridge in Orgrimmar overlooking Grommash Hold @52.11, 65.30
So Blizzard's official stance on Loyalists is that we chose Sylvanas because we thought she was such a pro-Horde sweetheart?Pfft, we were always aware of her character and feelings for the Horde. Walking the road of the Loyalist wasn't a choice of leader, but that of philosophy; either fight a war against the Alliance when it looked like we were past the point of no return, or be honorable and likely damn your people to Alliance's judgment. A no-brainer.It was to be expected Blizzard's writers would have things end this way, because of course they did, but a choice like this doesn't have value if it can't be made with the facts at hand at the time. In the real world there's no way in hell I would bank on the enemy side going easy on us if we deliberately ended the war in their favour after carrying on terrible deeds. Now that things went swell the Loyalists are painted as silly billies, who were blinded by "lies". So stupid and, honestly, disrespectful.
You're right. But us true Sylvanas loyalists aren't any better off. I find Blizzard's decision on her change of direction (and I will spare you the bazillion word post detailing the bizarre descent she made between the end of legion and the beginning of BFA and then the utter incomprehensible madness of that end ... we will just agree to disagree) to be unbelievable and unfortunate, but it's their story and there is nothing I do about that. However I haven't forgiven Eitrigg, try and put me in chains orc-boys, and I'll use the auction house or bank if I want ... and I'll put up single anchor-weeds. It was "nice" that they let us play loyalist, but there are plenty of us who will still follow the Banshee Queen anyway. Preferably to raid Blizzard headquarters, but I would enjoy killing Thrall or that annoying troll shaman as well.
I've also received an NPC whisper from the Forsaken Former Loyalists up on the Flight Master bluff: "For the Dark Lady. Always."
