it's missleading to point at the Gul'dan vs Durotar Mak'gora since it's not canon and only leads to "magic is not allowed" comments which arose not only here but other sides as well en mas.
Sylvanas was simply using the Horde as pawns....and how is this a surprise? We Forsaken players have been knowing that for 15 years now.Hell we've been brewing a plague with the declared purpose of killing the scourge and, secretly, all the living races too.
I hate orcs...but i cry :'(
So Thrall defeating Garrosh with magic is okay but Sylvanas isn't. Sylvanas could've easily won without magic and it was clearly seen in cinematic so it doesn't matter at all.
So... While this might at first seem off-topic, I have to ask. What happens to the Old Gods "soul" when they die? They clearly are somewhat Sentient. Do they also go to the Shadowlands? If so... We do know one Old God who has been slain for years now.I wonder if "The Beast of Seven Heads" will be raising once more...
I wonder. Does Saurfang's actions in exposing Sylvanas' duplicity count towards N'Zoth's claim that "all eyes shall be opened".
Reading this made me cry and really like how this war came to an end. It was expected that Saurfang was going to die in BfA but not knowing how. This cinematics, for me, were totally unexpected, I'm glad that I always followed the path of Baine and Saurfang to be about fighting for somethin bigger than horde-alliance, for something that will threat us all, and so, to protect Azeroth (mother earth). Thanks for this article and to blizz for everything! I'm probably one of the few that liked this expansion, the lore, the gameplay, everything. I don't care about those who complain and keep throwing trash to BfA, if they have time to do that, they could also have time to go away and play something else (I think).Respect to Saurfang and may be is fall becomes the ideal of the new horde.Well, now wait for blizzcon, 8.3 and next expansión for sure!
Im gonna RIOT if the kill Sylvanas as they killed Garrosh...
I feel like I specifically remember ‘wishing’ that Varian had said “for Azeroth” to Gul’dan at his execution. But I think he actually said “for the alliance.”
Can't believe that some people are saying that the duel wasn't fair because of Sylvanas. We have several and more concrete examples of the same kind of duels with the use magic and they all were fair according to Blizzard. Garrosh vs Thrall is the best example. Also Sylvanas, as we could clearly see, was winning from the very beginning without even use of magic. Also if Sylvanas wasn't fair then Saurfang's weapon swaps and use of Shalamayne dual swords also was questionabl but actually it wasn't really because it was a fair duel. More than that, you could say that the duel was ended after Sylvanas said about her attitude towards Horde.
