Who write this? It looks like anime.
I really hope we are not killing n'zoth. This would be extremely boring finale. I hope that we waited for so much time without any spoilers and boring BfA story, not just to kill Azshara and than N'Zoth in few patches. I hope for whole expansion around this characters. For example Wrath of the Lich King expansion somehow really was about Arthas. Burning Crusade about Illidan. Legion was about Sargeras and even without fight against him, whole time we feel his presence and we want to reach it. But here we just kill iconic characters as N'Zoth and Azshara for what? I am expecting that next expansion should be conclusion to some epic journey which started with BfA (and maybe even Legion - Stormheim where Sylvana and Genn has fought).
Weebs ruin everything, man.
It feels kinda dissapointing watch this cutscene, let's hope that cinematic that will go after will make this have more sense :P
Maybe it's just me, but honestly I was expecting... Well, bigger spoilers.
So we use the necklace, the gimmick oft he xpac, to defeat the end of the xpac boss. I wouldn't really say its a giant spoiler.
Do we hurt Nzoth with contained power or do we channel all azerite and give it to Nzoth?
What a let-down. But I suppose it's to be expected with the god-awful writing this expansion.Next expansion I suppose we will defeat Death with the power of friendship and a salad fork empowered by the unconditional love of puppies.
I'm just not really feeling it... I respect those that like it but I personally think it's kind of boring. It's a shame that N'zoth is defeated so quickly and that Ny'alotha is being wrapped up all in a single patch and only within a single raid instance plus a few scenarios. I expected much more. It would have been amazing to have an actual zone for Ny'alotha or something far more significant than what has been revealed thus far. I truly don't understand why Blizzard is not making things more interesting in terms of their storytelling. I don't necessarily think that all of the recent writing has been bad, but nothing terribly interesting ever seems to happen. It's all so predictable. I'm just not drawn into the story as much anymore. I love Warcraft lore, but I'm never satisfied with where they take the story lines in recent years. All of these amazing lore characters in Azshara, N'zoth, and Sylvannas and I'm unsatisfied with all of their story lines. The Warbringers animated series were simply amazing, and yet they tend to hype things up to a level that they fail to match. I guess its because the writing in Warbringers had already been established. Anyways, hopefully they can make some interesting things happen with Bol'var, the Dragonflights, and the rest of the Old Gods.
Um, what's with the dozen shadowy Sylvanas-es walking slowly toward N'Zoth? Is it supposed to be shadow-Alleria? As someone else said, it doesn't look like her hair/style etc. Also, this all seems like a rushed nothingburger. "Here's an old god, let's just zap him" kinda thing. I don't care if it looks like anime (although it does); what this shows is the age bracket of the people working on this product now, lol.
All of you talking crap about cinematic are so clever lmao
idk about you but maybe pumping an old god full of azerite is exactly what he wanted, and the supposed cutscene that follows this one just shows how our plan backfired and now he's stronger than ever, following into some sort of shadowlands / lich king expansion thats being talked about?
It's so bad that people want to believe its fake. I hope Blizzard reads these comments if its actually real lol
