Really enjoying this feature so far! It comes in a smidge before the webhook, which is handy when I'm sitting at my computer anyway. Got a chuckle out of having a notification pop up to...tell me about the notification feature!
Great ! If you could now add a functionality to notify us about when a specific emissary is up for example that would be perfect.
Great work guys. Would be extremely nice if you could sign up for more than one category as well.
It keeps failing to subscribe to notifications. Neither my browser nor my system is blocking them as I have them from other websites. What's more is that now that message pops up every time I open a Wowhead tab...EDIT: Well, apparently the obscure Chrome fork I was using had an additional browser setting hidden in an unintuitive place that blocked this specific kind of notifications. But allowed a ton of spam notifications on other websites. So yeah, crisis averted.
Dont get any dialog popup.
I havent been able to sign into wowhead for months now. I try constantly and it finally works. But then it doesnt really work...? It just says it does but then when I change pages it's logged out. This is on the samsung internet browser on the phone. Google chrome on the phone works fine though.
As said above this could be an amazing step forward for the site if expanded further upon. Things like emissaries, invasion timers, or even older events from other expansions would be really useful. Hopeful to see how the site expands upon notification use.
Can community updates be seperate? I really, really don't care about stuff like Taliesin and Evitel and will see myself getting very tired of it very quickly during dry seasons of nothing but community content updates.
Been waiting for this! Awesome!
Ah, the joys of a non-standard browser (no notifications for me!). Oh well, I get updates through RSS/Twitter/Discord anyhow. :-P
I try my best to keep the notifications on my phone to a minimum, so no thanks.
Ah! one of those annoying features of modern web that I ALWAYS click on NO faster than the speeding bullet! Good for those who like this I guess.
Why?And thank you for the option to decline this service.
Well, nothing on here is so important that reading about it a couple hours earlier would make any difference.I very much apreciate this website and visit it at least daily. But notifications? No, thanks.
Why on earth would I do that? I'm only here to check for PTR and alpha/beta news. I don't care about anything else here.
when people tell me to turn off my ad-blockers is when i'm most likely to want my ad-blockers on.
Hell yeah, I love random websites nagging me to ask if they can nag me some more!https://i.imgur.com/6WCAAAn
