I first thought there'd be some toggle etc. until I realized the respective first image was from Live.
They are deleting worgen, lmao
I still think they should add the red and blue banners behind the race icons but otherwise nicely updated.
Tbh, i like the old sets way better.. and i hope the dk gets his gloves to drop lol
Nice, but I really wish Blizzard gave us sub-race templates. They would clear the seemingly 'double races' on the main selection screen, while at the same time filling some of the empty space on the left-hand of the customization screen.Mockup screen: https://i.ibb.co/b5wzt92/subrace-customization-mockup.jpgFor extra love, they could be even tied to alternate demonyms and racial traits!(On the official EU forum: https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/sub-race-names-templates-tied-to-the-new-customization-options/151465 )
So, does this mean that the boosted characters get that xmog? or its just a cosmetic view of the transmog you could get?
I have to admit I'm a little annoyed at the change to the armour, mostly in the case of Death Knights and Demon Hunters - the starting armour for them is pretty iconic.

Tbh the new priest set is not really an improvement in my opinion.
So far it lacks character, imo. The old character creation screen is pretty iconic. That said, how often do we see that screen anyway. Doesn't really matter what it looks like as long as it gets the job done (and is scalable, I guess?).
Well, those sets who almost everybody transmogs over? Why not use iconic ones like Judgment for Paladins, Tirisfal for Mages, Stormrage for Druids, etc.
Rogue one just seems counter-intuitive. Here's a class that screams "STEALTH" and "SPEED" with its description and its icon, but once you choose it, you see yourself in a heavy-looking armor with lots of flashy bits.Monk preview is an improvement, though i like the simple look of the old one more.Priest armor is cool, and it might fit some races, but it doesn't look like something a light or shadow priest might wear, while the old one, though visually fitting for only the first 2 specs, looks more class-flavored.DK armor is... Meh. Feels more like something a warlock would use.
Hopefully some of these change. Normal Uldir is a weird choice for priests, and that's not the mage set I would've chosen. Paladin is just sort of messy, and warlock just feels like a downgrade.
I'm sorry but I don't like it at all. Some of the armor doesn't fit. And I don't even want to think how awkward some of the races will look with these armor sets that are shown in the screenshots. Can't see half of it working on a tauren for example
The new character creation screen looks really bad. In a game like World of Warcraft, minimalist art styles do not work with the game at all. WoW has always gone all out when it came to their art, and to have this minimalist design contrast the rest of the game, it is really off-putting. Also now it looks like every time I want to make a character, I'm gonna be looking at one of those Coca-Cola touch screen vending machines.
I think they should use the Tier 3 Arathi Warfront Armor (Honorbound/7th Legionnaire) instead of those armors to at least represent the faction colors, and when you click "Customize" button degrade the armor to the Tier 1 version, cuz in this version we only have a tiny emblem of the faction above the races.https://www.wowhead.com/guides/arathi-warfront-armor-and-weapon-transmog
they didnt add the normal skintones for void elf? did they redo it cause horde was getting angry? -_-
Most of these are awful, there are way better more class fantasy centric sets out there...
Why did they use the Death Knight Elite PvP tint, that isnt obtainable anymore so it seems like false advertising.
