while release date, beta, cinematic is all well and good... if this live-stream is not Ion going back on locking covenant abilities, soulbinds not being destroyed on change, in-depth look at legendaries, better rewards for M+, class changes and so on... then just gg :/seeing blizzard's response being to ask us to trust them to balance a full set of new systems immediately after releasing the corruption system might be peak Blizzard.... let's just ignore how they have never been able to balance things properly for literal years, I mean, RACIALS were not even approaching the word balanced since Vanilla, only very recently are racials in a better place (but still with problems) -_-
"In the Shadowlands Alpha, we haven't seen many of the features that Covenants will offer other than the Covenant Class and Signature abilities."What makes you think there will be anything else?
I can't wait for the Physical CE. I saw alot of people complaining about BFA's, but i really like that book and the medaillion! Hopefully Shadowlands CE will bring us some new orginal cool items aswell.
They will need to scrap something soulbinds legendaries conduits too many systems covenant just pick one or this expansion will last over4 to 5 years grinding these things plus they are merging servers again. Here's my suggestion just have covenants for now and in later patches add the other stuff little by little unless one of these systems is for pvp
Whatever it ends up being, I would really appreciate a clear guide to understand all these multiple new systems. I'm college educated and generally literate, and yet I still don't understand how all of this is going to work. Systems on systems on systems makes for confusion, tediousness, inability to balance, and multiple other problems. I realize they're trying to be "new" but isn't it amazing that when the game was at its height, the systems were pretty simple compared to all this? This is their job, not ours - stop making a game into a complex job. Their "survival guides" aren't enough to explain all this. Instead of a 2 hour lecture on how to play the game, maybe simpler systems would be better..
It's very cool. I'm really looking forward to the exit.
Can i expect a new class? I don't want this to be WOD 2.0 :(
