I dont want to be that guy but i am...1 have never heard of reckful and i am sorry he passed away. From what i have seen he was an important figure in the wow community and it sucks we lost him..but here comes that guy...2 does every wow player in the past 14+ years that has passed away get a npc....no they do not....so he shouldnt...hes like the rest of us...just another player who achieved cool things...but he was given a voice by the community by making him important...it doesnt need to go to this level it has....And im sure ill get you are a hater and blah blah but there is always another side to things that needs to be looked at.
Firstly, this a wonderful tribute to someone who had such a massive impact on world of warcraft. Reckful is a legend in the community and inspired countless people not just in game but outside of game too. Many of the big streamers today and world of warcraft players were directly influenced by Reckful. Secondly, I can't believe how toxic some people are! Reckful deserves this tribute and being banned in the past or passing the way he did does not change the fact he was a huge inspiration to thousands of players, streamers, and people in general with his down to earth, caring attitude and community spirit. This is a fitting tribute and thank you blizzard.RIP Byron
@ don1010220 - Not so Don After all?Lmao, you are getting jealous over someone getting an NPC in the game.Seriously reconsider your value, before it's too late. Some people get statues too in reality,It's a memorial. One of the human's fear is that they wont be loved and remembered in life, then do something about it if it matters so much. But stop being a jealous twat who haven't accomplished anything in life.Just be a nice person and you will be remembered by many at least when you are alive. But you need to DO SOMETHING!I think giving him a NPC in game was a beautiful gesture by Blizzard ( Remind you he was banned by violating the rules)
He played undead? (as in: not human)
So, no one will mention the fact that they made Reckful a girl in the game?
This is the sickest thing blizz have done. Sure he was a nice guy, but this immortalising like this is madness. If i commit suicide, am i gonna get a npc named after me? probably not. But how many players- streamers will think this is a cool way to be made famous? probally gonna get a backlash of abuse for this post.
