Great news. Raiding below Mythic actually as some genuine value now.Now they need to nerf the chest. Or buff the weekly heroic raid rewards from the chest.
Achievements, initial gearing and personal challenge. Even right now in BfA many players like pushing M+ even though there is no reward in it. This is actually a nice change which makes it so that you don't have to supplement your raid gear with dungeon gear by spamming endless dungeons. I like it, and the final weekly vault level still being identical to the raid level means that putting SOME effort into it would still yield usable results.
Very good, M+ should always be below hc/m raids.
It's a good change because the gear is still solid and the weekly chest is worth getting but it doesn't invalidate raiding or high end pvp.
Terrible, even less reason to play m+ and even a higher range of RNG from the gear of it thanks to it.Harder content less reward than heroic raids.

So i the end M+ is still the best way to get gear if u dont raid at mythic level,i mean the vault gives 226 gear and Castle Nathria HC gives a max of 220 gear but thats just the last 2 bosses...kinda sick of M+ at this point
so 5 dungeon for 1 piece of gear that is weaker than an heroic boss(1 loot for 5 people)? thanks blizzard cant wait to spend 3-4 hours to be outgeared by someone who cleared the 2-3 first boss in 45 minutes while being carried
Hmm, so spam 7-9 keys and do normal raid to make headway into hc, then go back with hc loot to farm 14's for 226 weekly items.
Good, M+ difficulty in meta party always felt like joke compared to corresponding raid level with same ilvl awards. I'd say M+ weekly chest should be nerfed more and stop being welfare epics.

Why.. and yes why, is the best gear to do mythic+ found yet again, in raids.I mean, that system used to be an alternative way of gearing your character, but now you can't push keys unless you have raid gear, it's a bit annoying. Then again, not like arena players didn't have this issue before.

that's extremely sad to see this if they don't implement a way for dungeon gear to matter in dungeon. As stated by an earlier Wowhead post about PvP gearing, it feels REAAAAAALY bad to have to do mandatory other content to be effective in the content you like. Already in BFA, even if you had 0 interest in raiding, you still HAD to do it for some mandatory pieces of gear, or just if you wanted your "end" gear to not be purely RNG-based and that felt horrible. It's perfectly fine for dungeon gear to be weak in raid, but I think they should add a dungeon-only Ilvl boost to all dungeon gear so that M+ is THE best and only way to get the best gear FOR DUNGEONS. Blizzard wants you to have a slight edge if you participate in other content even if you don't like them, like PvP or raids, but with this, it would 100% be mandatory to not be just inferior for the entire season.
