Why do you guys post low quality reddit posts here and mark them as live game content. This is such trash
Daaamn I liked it! and I'd support it totally! now, how do we earn the points of the tree? that would be interesting.Really hope blizz to consider this.
Wow, doing something like this would create so much new content without actually creating any new content....you could get probably an entire .5 patch worth of players coming back for this
No thank you. If anything talent trees should have been brought back with the level squish in SL just imo. They keep adding new systems to "stay fresh" yet it still resorts back to a way to implement a talent tree like system in game. Please keep this away from the game unless you actually bring back a real talent tree into the retail game.
As a collector I wholeheartedly approve of this idea and would love to add a few thoughts to it.The talent tree could easily be attached to a combined effort between the Timewalkers and Loremasters of Pandaria then credits earned by clearing old raids. A weekly quest could be thrown in to retrieve a historical object from a specific boss for extra credits. Other talent options could add increased drop rates for your own armor type for farming those 1% drops like tusks and satyr spaulders, increased drop rates of pets and toys, even slightly improving on mount drop rates as well. Incorporating the Timewalkers would also make for a great opportunity to unlock portals directly into the raids and exit portals back to the main hub at the end since we've seen they have the ability to teleport entire groups of people through time and space.I truly doubt Blizzard would ever consider it, look at the horrific stink they raised over closing the portals in Dalaran and now we want access to the old raids across multiple worlds and timelines without having to constantly take limited portals or fly vast distances? Still, it's nice to dream.
As a mog runner, i dont like the idea of Transmog master, it kills all the fun of the RNG.
Blizzard: DANGER, DANGER, DESTROY FUN!
Super creative. Well done!As a player, I would not want these features to come at the expense of something new or an improvement on something current. If it can be done without such opportunity costs, I would love it.As a designer: Blizzard, hire this person!
This sounds like something fun and Blizzard is against fun.
Oh yes please!
come on blizz do it
This is one of THE WORST ideas ever
I object to you using the internet, you should have to deliver a letter by horseback. How dare the process be revolutionized.
I liked this at first, and thought it seemed great, but the longer I look at it, the more I feel like it's excessive and not really necessary (yes, I know it's a fan concept)Making a speed set isn't that hard. Having a vendor mount like the Traveler's Tundra Mammoth or Grand Expedition Yak to empty your bags between runs isn't hard. There's tons of teleport items in the game to get around to different places quickly, and you could get a guildie/friend to port you to some places if you're not a mage yourself. The Transmog Master concept is complete overkill, and asking for more gold out of legacy raids isn't gonna happen when Blizzard JUST nerfed that.In concept, it's interesting, but I hope Blizzard doesn't pay it much mind. Only thing I'd like is for Bear Tartare to work the way it used to, and for speed pots to not be on the new five-minute cooldown if you're in legacy content. Oh, and possibly making some of the old dungeon/raid achievements, that need more than one person, soloable. I have about six Glory meta achieves that only have 1-3 achievements left to finish, but they all require multiple players, which is a hard sell to guildies who are uninterested in collecting. But aside from those little gripes, legacy runs are in a good place now, and a system like this would be like trying to fix a squeaky hinge with a sledgehammer.
This could be rolled into archaeology to give it some more content.
alas, not gonna happen.
