Warlords of Draenor Transmog Preview: 3D Weapon Models

Models have been datamined for Challenge Mode weapons--these models are very elaborate, and seem to be the WoD equivalent of Challenge Mode Gold armor sets in Mists of Pandaria.

Models marked as "crafted" appear to be faction themed and come in several tiers--the most elaborate weapons correspond to higher-quality stats.

Many Warlords Season 1 weapons have models attached, but we've also found models for "draenor honor" which imply that Honor weapons will look completely different in WoD, instead of being recolored Conquest weapons.

They have been replaced by Troll and Tauren guards.

The troll area in Orgrimmar is now fully functional again, without any Kor'kron guards in sight.

Keybindings are a lot nicer in alpha, there are different sections for each type so you don't have to scroll through a huge list.

Bags now have filters as well as a "Clean up Bags" option that resorts your bags. Junk items now have a gold coin image on their icon so you know to sell them.

The in-game shop option now has Боевой конь кошмаров and Оскаленный разоритель for sale.

The Dungeon Journal now has a new role description section for bosses.

The map and quest log interface have been merged together. Bonus objectives for specific areas show up as swords on the map.

Mounts now show mounts you can't use in a certain zone as red.

There is a new achievement category, Legacy, and MoP Challenge Mode achievements like Победитель в испытаниях: золото are there. According to Twitter, this is a new category for deprecated achievements.

The basics of the Toybox UI are in, under a new Collections button.

There are lots of jumping games in the style of the Timeless Isle--chests located on cliffs that require some planning to reach. These contain Garrison materials.

The World map automatically turns transparent when it's open if you move.

There's a special achievement for getting Warlock green fire at level 90:

Vanity items are now categorized as toys and we have a preliminary list of what will be in the toybox. We've listed the items below and organized them by type! Learn more about the toybox here.

The Encounter Journal is now twice as large for Warlords!

There is a new section in the build, called Character Upgrade Tier which includes things like Basic Combat Mechanics, Advanced Combat Mechanics, Control Mechanics, Cooldown and Area Spells, Abilities Fully Unlocked. This is likely to relate to the zone we've heard about as a place for new level 90s to have a DK-esque start zone, so that new level 90s or a returning players to not be overwhelmed by picking up all their abilities and mechanics at once.

live on TuesdayThe patch is now live, and we have discovered a couple of issues:

Bigger Bag becoming account-wide is causing progress to be reset. Reward Systems Designer Russ Petersen tweeted that it's being looked into.
The two achievements for the Dread Raven and Dread Hatchling are not appearing for some players, but are for others.

Guide to Item Changes in Warlords of Draenor

Warlords Profiler

Just go to http://www.wowhead.com/list and enter your character's name and realm on the left-hand side for "Lookup Battle.net Profile."

It will display your gear with up-to-date stats, including columns for self-buffs and raid-buffs.

Patch 5.4.8 PTR: Build 18273 New Mounts, Database Updated for Additional Item Upgrades

5:30pm EST: The PTR is now updated, we've tested how Heart of the Valorous works.

You can now upgrade your 5.4 items two more times, for a grand total of four upgrades and a +16 ilvl boost. Simply visit an item's page and click on the additional upgrade options, or look at the "Upgrades" column in search results and mouseover the icons.

You can also show Upgrade level 3 and 4 in external tooltips.

To go along with the additional item upgrades, Garrosh Heirlooms have all received a +8 item level boost, to remain competitive as they cannot be upgraded with Valor.
