Introducing the WoW Token
Coming soon to an Azeroth near you: the Жетон WoW, a new in-game item that allows players to simply and securely exchange gold and game time between each other.

Players will be able to purchase a Жетон WoW through the in-game Shop for real money, and then sell it on the Auction House for gold at the current market price. When a player buys a WoW Token from the Auction House for gold, the Token becomes Soulbound, and the player can then redeem it for 30 days of game time.

The WoW Token feature will be enabled at a future date. Patch 6.1.2 adds in the framework needed for the WoW Token feature in the game client and is not active at this time. Check out WoW Token Coming Soon – Additional Details for more details on how the feature works.

Just to help clarify, on top of what Rygarius said: These changes were made because the items were under budget and not giving the appropriate amount of stats for their item level. There was a bug, so we fixed it.

This was not a change made to make healers more interested in Spirit trinkets. We recognize that Spirit isn't the most appealing stat for healers at the moment, and are discussing how we want to handle that, but that's a separate issue than the one that prompted the changes to these trinkets.

New achievements for collecting heirlooms, including Богатое наследство which rewards the Чоппер с водителем mount which is usable by lvl 1 players. The mount journal text, as seen on Призыв шофера, is "Why drive yourself around when you can hire someone to do it for you?" and Коак Хоберн is the driver! The 6.1 PTR notes stated that the mount would require all heirlooms collected, but Богатое наследство is just for 35 which is a bit easier.

New achievements for collecting Music Tunes--20 tunes rewards the Переносной музыкальный проигрыватель toy. Click here to listen to all of the new music.

Items used to reroll crafted stats are easier to make--the items required from Work Orders/daily cooldowns have been removed.

The fishing changes from the last build have been reverted, and Крюк из острой кости has been added so you can auto-fillet everything at once.

New profession recipes allow you to craft reagents outside of their daily cooldown. These take a Первобытный дух and some incidental gathering materials:

They *are* trying though. I've never even sent a ticket, only posted here on the forums and a GM has logged into my toon several times so far. It isn't that they aren't trying. I think the issue is the bug isn't happening to everyone - so it's hard to track what's causing it(could be more then 1 'trigger' even).

The WoW Anniversary event ended a bit earlier than intended, so to make up for that lost time and any inconvenience we’re going to be re-enabling it for an additional week. The event--including the level 100 Molten Core raid--will be available again from January 6 at 10:00 a.m. PST until January 13 at 10:00 a.m. PST, for North American realms. You can see the updated event dates and times in the in-game calendar.

The legendary questline is continuing in 6.1, and one of the rewards will be a legendary follower!

Blizzard is working on letting players send out Tweets, including screenshots, from within WoW.

Flight masters are getting tech for more-direct routes.

Garrisons are getting tons of improvements, including daily visitors that send you on group content with fun rewards, new items to buy Resources with, new missions, new items to modify followers, missions for professions, and an additional tier of Garrison invasions.

Players may be able to use their surplus gold to cover some of their subscription costs via tradable in-game tokens.

Heirlooms are getting an account-wide collection UI and upgrade tokens that can be used on heirlooms will be obtainable through different forms of content.

More improvements to the arena UI is coming to make it widely available for players in tournaments.

Blood elf models are coming as soon as the next patch, as well as tweaks for other character models.

Improvements are coming to Ashran for queue times and faction balance.

Blackrock Foundry is still scheduled for February.

To help players have a better experience in Dungeon Finder, we're expanding the rewards for Satchel of Savage Mysteries to award Heroic Dungeon loot in addition to the guaranteed Augment Rune, and a chance to contain a mount, Follower enhancement token, Battle Pet, or Battle-Stone. The satchel will remain Bind on Account and we'll continue to monitor Dungeon Finder queues and iterate as needed to ensure a great experience for everyone.
